Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizing Cream Cleanser, 5 Ounce Tube

This product is very moisturizing, as far as cleansers go. It does not foam, and you have to massage your face for the full 30 seconds (as recommended on the package) to get a good cleaning before removing w/ a wet cloth. My skin is dry and sometimes flaky, yet breaks out easily and had gone into freak-out mode after trying some other cleansers. The Aveeno Ultra-Calming Moisturizing Cream Cleanser cleared up that problem.

My 13 yo daughter likes it too. She has dry skin, but gets clogged pores that look like little white dots and using this helped her issue as well.

I needed a gentle cream cleanser that really cleanses my skin. I use this with the Clarisonic, and it works great. It has not caused me to break out as some cleansers do. This really cleanses as well, unlike some cleansers which are just foam. I am upset that stores have stopped carrying the cream version. The foam is NOT a good cleanser.

This product was recommended to me by an aesthetician at my dermatologist's office who said it would be good for cleaning the skin on my face which had just been diagnosed with perioral dermatitis. This is the is the best facial cleanser for very dry-sensitive skin I have found. I have eczema, which is the like the "mother" of dry, sensitive skin. I do not need anything that strips away what little moisture that's in my skin while it's cleansing it. Instead, but I need something that is gentle and can seal the mositure in. Most of the other cleansers (even Aveeno's face wash) have a bit more alcohol and "soap-like foam" in it; so it dries my skin out more. I also follow it with one of Aveeno's thicker moisturizers which helps tremendously. It is not the miracle-cure for dry skin...but it it helps so much more than anything else. My only disappointment is that it's hard to find, possibly discontinued. I am buying as much as I can today. There's just no telling when another "cream cleanser" will come out!!
