Ole Henriksen Grease Relief Face Tonic

I have not had the same experience at all as the other two reviewers. I use this product after I wash with Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser (For Oily/ Blemish Prone Skin) 355ml/12oz and before I use Ole Henriksen Vitamin Plus 1.7 oz for the day time or Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Gel 1.7 oz for the night time. I don't use all that much of either of the cleanser nor the tonic its probably no more than a dime size dollop for each. Ole Henriksen recommends that you don't use any kind of cotton swaps, etc. for the skin tonic as it 'steals' 50% of the product I, however, find just using my fingers to apply the tonic is too wasteful of the product so I use a cotton swap. It usually only takes 30 sec. for the tonic to dry on my skin after application and then its ready for the moisturizing creme. I have never had an issue with it making my skin (seem) more oily or the product flaking off in some places. I have instead noticed that using this line of products my skin has become better and my pores have decreased in size. In fact, other people have commented on my skin looking better! This means less make-up to hide the flaws, which means better conditions for your skin! :)

I'll admit that compared to other brands the OH brand is not an inexpensive one. However, with 12 oz bottles I can make the cleanser and tonic last at least 6 months and using both the daytime and nighttime creme, those can last 4-6 months too. If you are unsure of investing this much money in all four products, I would suggest that you try getting Ole Henriksen Oily and Blemish Prone Skin Starter Kit ($92 Value) Oily and Blemish Prone Skin Starter Kit. Just remember you do not need to use a lot of the product to get good results and you don't necessarily get better results using more product so there is no reason why these products can't last a long time :)

I have moderately oily skin. This toner put shine on my face, never dried up and felt so greasy and sticky! I had to wipe it away. I can't imagine a product with so much price can be so bad. Don't waste your money!

I do like the smell of this product, it's like a minty antiseptic scent. So I would give it thumbs up for it's aromatherapy benefits....HOWEVER, this "tonic" leaves MORE on my skin than it takes away! And the bottle usage instructions encourage you to apply liberally.....well I tried that way and I tried using less....much less. I waited ample time allowing this product to "dry" (for lack of a better word) before applying the next product. It totally did NOT make my face clean, or even feel clean. It actually peeled off in some areas of my face, like in my hairline and around my chin, neck & nose areas. I felt that this would be the appropriate toner for me since I'm easily prone to acne. The product label even states that the product minimizes the appearance of breakouts. Well not on my face. Totally hate it, except for the scent.
