WEN to me seems much a promise and too little a delivery. I decided to try Cucumber because my hair is naturally oily on the roots one day after washing. The TV ads promise that any of fragrances will work with all types of hair. So I am counting on that. I do appreciate that getting a sample size is way better than spending 60 dollars right off. The product is not bad. My hair, I have to say, is in pretty bad shape from dry ends to dullness due to coloring and probably over processing. Maybe because I got too excited after seeing the commercial, I expected this product to restore some of my hair's natural oils after one use (hey, they DO sell that idea). The truth is... no such thing happened. It was as washing with a regular shampoo and conditioner combo. The only difference during the shower is that the more you massage the product to your hair, the more it detangles and slightly feels softer, as when you use a more expensive conditioner. After I was done and rinsed it out (I carefully read the instructions on how to use it and followed them right), I did not notice anything special at all. With that said, I was glad to see my hair did not look "dirty" like some reviews here said it would (maybe their hair is healthier than mine, so they already have enough oil on it). It was clean. The product DID clean my hair AND conditioned it fairly nicely. But still, not really worth the cost. The very next day, my hair was actually very oily on the roots, dirty, but that would have happened with any product the fact that it was clean the 1st day is what matters in my case. The dullness and dryness did not improve. I am investing in different treatments now to restore the health and shine of my hair and I am willing to give WEN another try by getting another sample packet like this one, but with a different fragrance. My hope is that with naturally healthier hair, WEN will keep it shiny and healthy as it promises to do. I do not expect it to improve my texture. Just to keep it healthy. If it does so, I might then buy a whole bottle of it.

This is a GREAT size and container if you are traveling and want something easy and convenient to pack. LOVE the Wen products. Amazing!the size is great for sampling, and depending on hair size can be used more than once. this kind did not work well on my hair.
