Organique Invigorating Face Wash - 5.07 fl oz - Liquid

I bought this facewash from Whole Foods because it was labeled as a "Premium Body Care" product, which Whole Foods uses to designate products that are effective, safe, natural, and ecological (check out the Whole Foods website for more info they also have a list of more than 300 ingredients which Premium Body Care products must not contain, including fragrances, preservatives, parabems, etc).

I have combination skin, it is tight and dry immediately after washing (until I moisturize) and becomes extremely oily within a few hours. I've been using this facewash for a few days and noticed that some small blemishes on my forehead are clearing up, and that dry spots are smoother. The packaging says that it has honey which is supposed to soften your skin, but I didn't notice softer skin before applying moisturizer. This is also a great buy, price-wise. Much cheaper than Cetaphil (and MUCH safer apparently, according to ) in unit price, and especially when you consider that very little of this facewash goes a long way. You only need a pea-sized drop, and you will have a very generous lather (it takes a little practice to dispense such a small amount from this bottle, as the opening under the cap is a little big).

My only gripe is that even though the facewash does have a slight herbal scent which is pleasant and not overpowering or anything, I did not experience any invigorating sensation. Also, this formula has a teeny bit of ground apricot seed which surprised me because the packaging didn't say anything about scrubbing, but it's only a little bit so I don't really mind (though if you're up on your skincare research, you'll know that ground apricot seed tends to be jagged in shape which supposedly puts fine tears in your skin).

Overall, great facewash. Would buy again, but want to try the other formulas first (Hydrating, and the Turmeric and Neem one).

Has a consistency kind of like jelly at first, but after rubbing it in my hands a bit it thins out and begins to lather. Easy to use. The scent is acceptable and goes away after rinsing off (not a bad smell, but not unscented).

I bought the 2-pack and will use it til the end and will probably buy again.

This cleanser is fantastic! After finding myself allergic to most department store and grocery store cleansers I decided to try something organic that didn't contain all the harsh synthetic chemicals. This one did the trick! My face feels clean but not stripped. Perfect balance!

Clarisonic Aria™ Sonic Skin Cleansing System Black

I have used skin care brushes all of my life...I started using them at about age 6 or 7 when they were little hand held soft brushes similar to a baby's brush and I have alway had nice skin. Now that I am older I found I needed something more in the way of cleansing. This is it! I did a lot of research on this product and I thought the Aria would be it for me and I was so right!!

This little cleansing machine is fantastic! It is not only easy to use and store but it is great for my skin. I use my normal liquid cleansing soap with it...Philosophy: Purity Made Simple. I rub it all over my damp face then use the Clairsonic. It works wonders and I find I only have to wash one time to get all my make up off. It makes my large pores look less noticeable and it also makes my skin smooth and more natural looking and I find I can use less make-up as a result of using this system. I have been using it faithfully now, 2 times a day for over a month and will not ever change my routine again. I have found what really and truly works for me. I do have a smaller automatic facial cleansing brush by DDF and I only use it for apply exfoliating creams once a week and I use it because it has a sponge applicator...if Clairsonic ever makes a sponge applicator for their cleansing systems, then I will get rid of the other cleanser.

I love the fact that the speeds can be changed and it has short and long cleansing times. I use the short cycle in the morning and then switch to the longer cleaning cycle in the evening to take off my make-up. I like the drying stand and the fact it will let you know when to re-charge, or how many cycles/minutes you have left before you need to charge. It is light weight and doesn't make a mess.

Mine came with several Lancome products. I tried the cleanser that came with it...it was a very generous sample. I read the reviews on it and thought I would give it a try. This was some sort of cleanser that went from a cream to foam. It was great for about a week then suddenly it dried out my skin completely and I even started to peel like I had a sun burn! I stopped using it right away and it took almost another week for my skin to get back to normal!

The Aria has never damaged my skin nor has it ever made it break out..there is nothing in it that will cause break outs...if you use your regular cleansing cream or soaps...a change always can cause breakouts!

I would recommend this cleansing system to every one no matter your age...with the exception of children under the age of about 5 but that is just how I feel about it.

The one and only thing I have found that I didn't care for was the fact that the brush is a little difficult to take off and put back on...but that's not a big deal.

And...when you buy the cleansing system you get a $25.00 coupon from Clarisonic to purchase from them as a gift for buying the Clairsonic...if you have to deal with the company...try to find another way to get an answer to your questions. I had one simple little question...it was could I use this coupon with their sale/special products. I'm sure you are as aware as I am that most places will not let you combine coupons with things that are already on sale or marked down for one reason or another. So I wanted to make sure I could us the coupon before I placed an order and then get the bad news that I could not use it on what I wanted to purchase. Well...let me tell you...this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company's customer service. I don't have all day to hang on the phone for answers so I e-mailed. I don't know if these people can read or speak English but they sure don't understand it! I got some of the strangest answers to my simple question you have ever heard...and never a correct one! So I just blindly placed an order...just to have done with them...thankfully it worked and so far no problems, but if I ever need help with it again...I have no intention of asking Clairsonic Customer Service ...ever! Either they do not understand English or the people who are in this service are just stupid!! So I gave up!

I am an AA 26 yo female and I have been struggling with acne since my teens having been on every antibiotic, cream, gel, face lotion, wash over the counter and Rx. I have even been on Accutane and although it helped my acne significantly, moderate acne has resurfaced 2 years ago. This is the only product that keeps my acne to a minimum and I found it by accident in my mother's bathroom. She uses it too more so for anti-aging purposes. I guess when they say "Moms know best", they are right.

I selected this gentle version over the max correction and I absolutely love it. It has less alcohol so its great for sensitive and acne-prone, skin. I am in the in between stage of late acne-pre wrinkles. I think this product is great for both wrinkles and acne.

These are awesome. After I stopped taking birth control pills I started breaking out so I looking for something to help. I can't use anything too strong because it just makes me break out worse. I found these and saw a bunch of mixed reviews but decided to give them a try. SOOO glad I did. After about a week of 2x a day use (after washing my face) I saw a huge difference. Once my face cleared up I started using once a day in the mornings. Now I only have to use them a couple times a week.

Couple tips...each pad will come out with way too much of the liquid on it so fold it up and ring it out back into the jar (with clean hands of course). You will have a lot more of the medicated liquid left over and I've been buying plain pads from the store and using them when the included pads run out. Lasts me a little while longer.

Also, they do tend to sting a bit when you first start using them and if your face is not completely clean so make sure to use a good cleanser before using.

They don't smell too bad either so don't expect a bad medicine like smell like some of the other products.

After doing some internet research and reading the good reviews I decided to try this product and I am glad I did. I get facial regularly and even the facialist noticed and commented that my pores were cleaner and all my dead skin was gone and my complexion was brighter. The only thing I did different was start using these pads,especially the exfoliating side so I know it was thanks to this product. Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Advanced Regenerating & Reconstructing Cream Spf 15

When you use several different skin care products it's hard to tell whether any one of them is really responsible for the condition of your skin. I'm 54 with combination skin and after a lifetime in Florida my face is relatively unwrinkled (thanks to genetics and sunglasses) but blotchy in tone and with some age spots. My face care routine for the last several months has been to use a lightweight moisturizer with SPF in the morning under my makeup and at night I use a serum followed a few minutes later by this Lancome Absolue product. There has definitely been considerable improvement my skin tone has evened out and the age spots have faded a bit. Don't get me wrong there hasn't been a miracle and it's still obvious when I don't wear makeup, but my skin looks and feels much better. So even though I don't know for sure if this product is the cause of the improvement I have to say I really like it a lot. The creamy consistency is awesome and the light fragrance is pleasant but not even close to being overpowering.

However, the price is obscene and that's why I took a star off this review. I ended up getting this after falling for a hard sell at the Lancome counter and it has lasted me over a year (I didn't use it every day, though). You do get a generous amount and a little goes a long way, but it's still awfully expensive. Now that I've finally finished the jar I'm going to try some cheaper alternatives and see if I get similar results. I may end up buying this product again if I'm not happy with others, or ask my DH to buy it for me for Xmas. I could probably tell myself that the length of time it lasts help bring the cost down and satisfy my conscience, but I just have to try cheaper options first.

I do recommend you try it if you can get a sample size or if you have some extra money to spend and need/want a high quality moisturizer. Everyone's skin is different but if you enjoy high quality skin products then you should like this.

Bumble And Bumble Black Hair Powder For Inky Brown, Asian, Hispanic, Or Goth Shades 4.4-Ounces

I had red highlights done on my hair and wanted to preserve the color for as long as possible and so I bought this product based my stylist's recommendation. The first time I used it I had a really bad experience (and now looking back) it was mainly because I didn't hold the spray bottle 10-12 inches away according to the instructions. I ended up spraying the powder on my hair like I would with hair spray and I had globs of black powder everywhere. I couldn't even comb my hair through; my fingers and my comb were black and my hair felt sticky. Additionally, everytime my hair touched anything (e.g. comb, clothes, fingers, pillow) it left black marks. It also left my hair feeling oilier than it originally did. After this experience, I figured I just wasted $40.

Last night, I figured I'd give it another try. I saw other customer reviews on Amazon and read how wonderful the product was and I figured I must've done something wrong the first time around. This time, I held the bottle as far back as possible and I sprayed in short pulses. After each spray, I immediately combed my hair through. This time the results were fantastic. I hadn't washed my hair in two days and my hair was really oily. After about 10 minutes of spritzing and combing, my hair looked like a day's old wash. I woke up the next morning, blew dry my hair alittle and it looks great! When I touch my hair, it doesn't leave anything behind either.

The key is take baby steps with this product. Hold the bottle as far back as possible (like an arm's length) and just do little spritzes at a time and comb through. You'll love it.

I have somewhat oily, but otherwise normal, hair and this is by far the worst dry shampoo ever (maybe even the worst hair product ever). I don't understand the rave reviews. Every time I run out of dry shampoo from Klorane or Blow Faux, I give this product another try. I figure, "Hey! I spent $40 on this thing, I might as well finish the bottle. It's so pricey it MUST work this time right? Right?" It never ceases to amaze me how much I hate this thing. I walk around the rest of the day hiding my head in shame and even wishing for my greasy oily hair-anything but the ugly mess resulting from this product. Believe me, I'm no stranger to dry shampoo. I've been using it all my life. I use this product exactly as directed and then some (8-12 inches away from my hair, 3-4 inches away from my hair, 12-24 inches away from my hair, spraying into the air and twirling into it... nothing works).

Pros:

If you want spray can black paint for your hair, then this is the product for you. The color is the only upside to the product in case you're looking to hide your roots between coloring. But if you already have dark/black hair then this product is utterly pointless as a dry shampoo.

Cons:

TextureForget about running your fingers through your hair and having beautiful locks that sways when you walk. Nope. Instead, you'll get "There's Something About Mary" hair that only too much gel creates. It creates a disgusting overly dry brittle bird nest texture. If you walk and the wind catches your hair the wrong way, you end up looking like a lion that just woke up from a nap.

ResidueIf you plan on touching your hair, wearing a light-colored sweater or falling asleep on your bed, you'll leave a nasty black smear all over your fingers, clothes and mattress. Even if you're wearing dark clothes, if you touch your hair by accident, you run the risk of getting dark smudges all over your face and arms and bag and books... the list goes on.

Recommendation:

If all you want is to prolong the time between washing your hair and not to cover up bald spots or touch up your roots, then you're much much better off with Klorane or Blow Faux Dry Shampoo. Heck, you're much better off with 99 cent baby powder. For the love of everything pretty and functional, stay away.

I love love love this hair powder. I saw it once at someone's house and immediately thought it was for covering up bald spots (what can I say I have an big imagination!). I asked my hair dresser about it and she told me it was great stuff that added a lot of texture to your hair while soaking up all the oil.

I guess I should explain that I like big hair, not 80's big, but hair that looks thick and full of body. When I heard it gives texture, I was sold. Anything that makes it easier to get big hair. I also bought that light brown for my friend who doesn't love big hair but has a problem remembering to wash her hair ;)

So there were using this powder and instantly getting addicted. The stuff is A-Mazing, we both agreed. I can now go 4-5 days without washing my hair (but I am not recommending that, I am just saying that it has allowed me to become lazy with my hair). When I wake up in the morning I just need to fluff the hair and it looks like I spent an hour on it. It definitely gives it the dirty texture so it is easy to style, but it doesn't look dirty.

I have used it on longer hair, shoulder length medium layered hair, AND an a-line bob type. I can basically shape my hair anyway I want and it will hold.

For you blonds, I hear cornstarch has a similar effect.....but for everyone else, invest in this cuz it is worth it.

Okay, even though I love it, I have to say that it is crazy messy. I use the black and have learned not to touch my hair or scratch my head, and I am still scared to go out in the rain with it in. The bathroom now needs to be wiped down every time I get ready, and the shower needs to be wiped down more. But lets be honest, now I have awesome hair AND a clean bathroom!

Burberry Brit For Men

Every now and then you find a scent that resonates with your personality and just smells "right". For me, "Brit" is one of those. It is a light oriental, underlined with warm, sweet notes (vanilla, almond). It is intense, but gentle. I find for daywear that the Eau de Toilette is best the scent lingers, but is never overpowering. There's nothing worse than having to work with someone wearing gaggingly strong scent! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I did not read the one-star reviews because I already knew I loved Burberry Brit and I figured why do I need to read about how people don't like the scent. But if I had read the reviews I would have found out that the perfume is not legit. It may be an old bottle of Burberry, but either way the scent doesn't last long at all and it doesn't smell right to begin with. And as I have been reading after the fact, returning is not possible, even though it doesn't say that anywhere on the ad.

So don't buy this product. Honestly, don't by perfume online unless it's directly from Macy's, Sephora etc. Just pay the big bucks for it.

I love this scent. It smells warm and spicy on my skin. The eau de parfum is strong, but not overpowering at all and the dry down is wonderful. It also lasts all day long, which is great because I'm a spray it and forget it kinda gal.

There are reviews that warn this is a counterfeit product, but I trusted Amazon. This was a true counterfeit of Burberry Brit Eau de Parfum. The inside packaging included the bottle being wrapped with a picture of a girl, which isn't normal. The spout smells like body odor, and the scent doesn't seem to last more than a few minutes. BIG MISTAKE that I didn't see the note underneath the picture on Amazon's page that this can't be returned because it's hazardous material. They have no problem mailing fragrance to customers, but can't receive it in return? Can I sue Amazon for selling a counterfeit product in which they refuse returns? Time and money lost. Previously, I bought Burberry on eBay and it was counterfeit, but at least the seller issued a refund after I contacted eBay. Expensive perfume is expensive for a reason! I was introduced to this product while getting a facial about 2-3 months ago. I had broken out with a bunch of whiteheads along my jawline and hairline. I had such a bad breakout and the extraction was soooo painful that even my esthetician suggested I return for another facial to complete the extraction. Since I couldn't bear the pain any longer, I agreed to return the following week. She slathered the Oxygen Gel onto my face and suggested I buy a bottle. She also recommended the concentrated acne serum (same brand/line) but I did not want to spend that much so I just got the oxygen gel. I religiously applied the gel 2x a day (3-5 pumps each time)... By the next week, when I returned to complete the extraction, my face had cleared some. As the weeks went by, my face cleared completely. I fell in love with this product and searched online for a cheaper price. Even though I only saved about $5 by buying through Amazon, I think this product is worth the price. I haven't broken out like that again since I began using this product.

After Neutrogena discontinued their salycylic pore clearing gel product the version they now sell contains medication, which I don't need, I just need a gel with salycylic acid that will clear dead skin and pores without drying I went looking for a substitute and thought I would give this product a try. It is great. It's much less harsh on my skin than the Neutrogena product was, feels cool and pleasant and non-sticky. This gets the job done on my face just fine I use it a couple times a week and it helps clear the pores and rejuvenate my skin.

However, I inadvertently discovered another use for it. I have had a bout of recurring patches of dry, itchy skin on and around my ears for some time that did not respond to moisturizers. My doctor said there was no infection or other condition needing medication and said it "just looked dry." The itching was driving me nuts some days, and moisturizers, oils, Vaseline etc. had no effect on the itching. My doctor suggested that dandruff shampoo might work and it did, but the effect tended to wear off before the day was finished so my skin would start to itch and flake again. In desperation I noticed that this gel also had salicylic acid like my dandruff shampoo so I tried using a small dab on the affected area and it worked like a charm. The itching went away immediately, the gel had a cooling effect, and over the course of a few weeks of using the dandruff shampoo and this gel in between, the problem has really diminished. I don't know if it will work for all people and would suggest you talk to your doctor if you have a similar condition, but I'm so thrilled to find something that works in between the daily shampoos, I'm about to buy a few more bottles of this awesome product.

Quite simply, this is a gentle, invigorating face wash. It has a beautiful flowery scent and is silky to the touch. I use it once or twice a day, every day.

The best part: it's cruelty-free and contains no animal ingredients.

I never thought I'd break my loyalty to Cetaphil but alas, they aren't cruelty-free. As awesome as that cleanser was, I daresay that this one is even better. So glad I made the switch.

As I hit my 40s, I started having rosacea type symptoms. This product is great as it does not irritate at all. I recommend this product.

Biore Blemish Treating Astringent for Unisex Treatment, 8 Ounce

Results I noticed after using this product for about a month or so..

1) It doesn't dry my skin when used moderately, like one application a day.

2) Treats pimples effectively.

3) Although not tremendous, but I have seen a satisfactory reduction in my blemishes and spots.

4) This astringent has prevented excess clogging of my pores and also doesn't sting much.

I am not a believer of expensive popular brands. I only buy and use products that I think will help me deal with my skin problems on a regular basis. Biore blemish treating astringent is one of them.

I was originally using the SIMPLE Soothing Skin Toner and although it truly was soothing and contained no harsh ingredients it didnt do ANYTHING for my face(it was the equivalent to rubbing water on my face). I expect my toner or astringent to remove debris and keep my pimples at bay. Using Simple I had to SCRUBBBB w/a few cotton balls to remove any dirt or makeup residue(and pimples still showed up). With the Biore Blemish Treating Astringent I only have to lightly swipe over my skin(with one cotton ball) and dirt, makeup, and oil is removed.And best of allit helped diminish my pimples-PIMPLE FREE YAY! I ran out of Triple Action Astringent and found this instead. The ingredients in this product are identical to those in Triple Action; they've just re-packaged it and marketed it as a new product to make it gender-neutral. I haven't noticed any significant changes to the product itself.

It has 2% Salicylic acid like a lot of other acne treatments, but the inactive ingredients distinguish it from some of the other toners/medicated pads I've used. It actually smells pretty pleasant, it doesn't leave anything sticky behind, and the witch hazel does help reduce irritation. Also, if you are switching from medicated pads, the bottle of toner lasts a long time and you have the choice of using a less abrasive applicator (in my case, generic cotton squares). Definitely recommended.

On a side note, if your skin is too sensitive to use the Biore toner every day, try alternating with one of the alcohol free varieties of Thayer witch hazel.

This astringent is perfect for preventing acne and leaves you with a super clean, refreshed, and really nice cooling sensation. One of my favorite parts is that it smells really good which is hard to find in an astringent. Love it!

I recently moved to Colorado, where the air is very dry, and at age 60, my skin was really starting to show it. I have always had oily skin problems, but all that changes with age and climate. About 15 years ago I had a garage sale and this woman showed up who's face looked radiant and no wrinkles. I thought she was in her early to mid 30's but she was in her late 40's. I asked her what she was doing and she said "I use Murad." I remembered that and 5 years later when I started to feel like I was looking old (age 42 then) I started using this resurgence kit. That was 8 years ago and I have to tell you, it's the best stuff I've ever used, including Murad's other products. I can literally see a difference in my skin after one night. If I run out and don't use it for a month, I would say that I age about 6 or 7 years in the month. My skin gets duller, wrinkles I didn't notice appear, I looked dehydrated and leached---like how 50 year old women used to look in the 1950's. I put this on, and you know how your face gets younger looking up when it's sopping wet? Well somehow it stays hydrated looking like that even when it's dry. It's so cliche' but it's true. I think the cleaning cream in the kit is fine, step three the age balancing night cream is good, but the real magic is in step two, the age diffusing serum. That stuff is potent. They use something in that that feeds your skin and it FEELS like it---kind of like an alpha hydroxy---but better. Your skin tingles when you put it on and it feels like it's just sucking it up deep into your pores and it seems to make your pores smaller. This kit will probably barely last you a month if you use it nightly but rest assured, if it's going to work for you, you will be convinced within the first few days. The regular size bottles will last you 2-3 months. It's expensive, but so is trying everything on the market (and I have tried a lot of products) and at least you won't have to deal with the disappointment of spending money on something that doesn't work very well, if at all. It smells good (not perfumy but natural, like juice) but to me smell is not a big consideration, I'd put goat urine on my face if it worked this well (that would also be not perfumy but natural :) I hear it's good to switch off and do different things for your skin because the skin, like the body needs a variety of nutrients, so this is a product I may suppliment from time to time, but I will never replace it in my skins diet. I consider it the water of my skin's diet.

I won't purchase this item again. It is extremely small in quantity. The picture makes it look bigger than it really is. I don't like the texture of the product on my face. If you run your finger along your skin with the product on, the product rolls off in tiny pieces. Yuck

I ordered this product from the infomercial. I haven't had this product long enough to know if it works or not but...... The Sheer Lustre Day Moisture has luminescent minerals that make your face shine. The minerals even shine through my foundation which I do not consider a plus.

The moisturizers in this system contain various oils. I think this product contains too much oil for a normal to oily skin maybe too much oil for dry skin also.

I love most of the EO products that I have tried, and I have used their Peppermint & Tea Tree hand soap and several different flavor variations of their shower gels and bubble baths almost exclusively for the past 4 years.

I bought this peppermint hand sanitizer from their own site two years ago and I used it on several occasions, but each time, the skin on the backs of my hands developed a rash pretty quickly afterwards, and this was the only thing that could have caused that.

I do not have that reaction to peppermint on its own, nor to EO's Peppermint & Tea Tree hand soap, nor to alcohol on its own, so I'm not sure what was the cause.

Also, I found that this hand sanitizer spray evaporated so quickly that I'd have trouble getting it on all parts of my hands while the product was still moist enough to spread.

However, it's a great idea and the product smells lovely, and I'm sure most people can use it without a problem.

I have very oily strawberry blonde hair at the age of 22. I've had very oily hair since puberty.This didn't do what I hoped for removing the excess oils. Also didn't make my hair impressively soft, shinny, lightweight or anything else enough that would qualify it as a "keeper" for me. I will not be purchasing it a second time. The best one I have found that actually removes the oils from my hair is "BIG" from Lush organics and is so far still my favorite shampoo of choice, but since its expensive I will continue to look for a cheaper alternative. This wasn't it. I still gave it some stars because its not a *bad* shampoo and it didn't harm my hair in any way. Just the results were sub-par.

Awkward to hold and use because the cloth is rather thick and the texture somewhat strange. It would be easier to use if it came in the shape of a fingerless glove. Also, since you're supposed to use first one side and then the other, I had assumed that perhaps the two sides would be different, but they look and feel exactly the same. Does my skin look or feel better after usage? Not that I can see or feel.

Overall, I've not been all that impressed with this cleanser, but, the only other one I've tried was Arbonne's, which was awesome, yet very expensive. Rinses off well, but skin feels like it has a residue (oil?). Would recommend for oily skin as it does clean well.
