Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System

Just purchased good price (after checking out the ProX prices, and that thing they have on the infomercial at over $250).

Anyway, at 61, my skin is pretty good for my age, but it ain't 25 year old skin anymore! This product has done a nice job, and I've only used it 3 times I already see a difference, a 'brighter' refreshed look. Just for the hell of it, I used the pad twice, and it worked fine! Maybe I didn't use it long enough the first time so it still had some "go" left in it. But, give it the ol' 1-2 try!

I would have liked the pads to be maybe a little more abrasive for older skin, that would be better. Maybe they should offer a couple of different "grit" pads, like sandpaper!!

I recently had 'real' microdermabrasion I have a pretty high pain/discomfort threshold well, let me tell you that procedure wasn't pleasant, it bloody hurt, and........after 2 treatments with this high powered machine, I really saw little difference, not lasting, anyway.

Do yourself a favor give this little machine a try at $20, it's not a miracle worker, you won't look 25 again, but I think you'll see a difference. I'm going to stick with it.

I'm a guy and if you had asked me for an electrical device for exfoliation I would probably have handed you an orbital sander. That was before I tried Neutrogena's Microdermabrasion System.

It works by placing a pad filled with a cleanser and exfoliant on a vibrating handheld device (get your mind out of the gutter). You wet the pad and your face with water and you gently rub the device against your skin. You dispose of the pad when you're done.

My results were excellent. I have mild acne scars and pockmarks near my temples and using this product helped reduce the visibility of these scars. It also made my face noticeably smoother.

I recommend this product, but I do have a few caveats. Don't use it for more than a few minutes at a time and be gentle when you use it. I overused it one time and parts of my face ended up red and irritated from the friction. Also, try to avoid getting the cleanser in your eyes. I found that when I used it on my forehead it had a tendency to drip into my eyes which caused a mild sting.

I love this product. There are sufficient microdermabrasion pads included in this pack to get you hooked on using it--and hooked you will be, for the results speak for themselves. My face is squeaky clean and smooth after using, and I feel like my other facial products are that much more effective (such as moisturizers and serums) after using this product every 3 days. It seems to be having good results in terms of decreasing the look and size of my pores.

As a fun aside note....I think that this product could also be used, ahem, for another purpose. It has two speeds, and the head that the microderm pads are attached to, can also be detached. So. Just sayin'.

This is a great product and I love the price. It does pretty much what it is supposed to do but I can not use it 3/week as Neutrogena recommends. I only go for twice/ week if at all. My face feels so soft and fresh after using it. It is a must for any skincare routine. :)

Ok so I have purchased SKABILLIONS of facial products over the years, and I saw this and thought what the heck..it's cheap so if it sucks no big loss. When it came in I used it right away and was SOOO impressed! My skin was glowing and sooooo smoothe. I've had it for 3 weeks now and my skin has 100% cleared up, and you can't even see my pores! My husband uses it as well, and his skin is also amazing! At a minimum my skin does look 5 years younger, and there is always a radiant healthy glow. BEST PURCHASE EVER!

On top of that my husband always has sore cracked heels, so I thought since the pads are so coarse that it would work on his feet as well (lol) and sure enough after 2 minutes on each foot his feet were as smoothe as a baby's butt.

So I have purchased another one to use on his feet, and months worth of pads. This thing is worth so much more than it costs, and I certainly recomend to to anyone! Even if it doesn't work for your face, it will work on your feet lol. It's cheap enough that it isn't a big loss as well.

Of all the acne products (proactive, over the counter, anything on the shelves at a store, and some very expensive ones...) none of them had worked,...this really just blows my mind. I wish I had discovered it sooner! (and yes it works as a personal massager too, and a discreet one at that lol xD )
