This scrub is a wonderful exfoliant, it is the closest replacement to Rachel Perry that i have tried, not as gritty as apricot scrub by st. Ives but its just gritty enough to clean your face and not strip it raw like the micro dermabrasion sea kelp scrub from rachel perry. Not a strong smell and it washes off leaving your face tight and clean.

Not the old formulation as pictured and listed:Some ingredients listed for this product are aloe, jojoba wax beads and oil (not in that order). Packaging photo and product information are different too. What was sent to me was the Alba Even Advanced Sea Algae scrub. There's a major difference between the two products. The new "Even Advanced" does not use jojoba wax beads as the exfoliant, but crushed walnut shell. And Dimethicone is listed as the fourth or fifth ingredient in the "Even Advanced". There are more and different ingredients listed in the "Even Advanced". I bought this product, the Sea Algae scrub hoping this was some leftover stock of the old product, as described and pictured. But no, its Alba's new stuff.
It's way too fragrant and slimy (with the Dimethicone) than I like for a scrub, other than the fact that the ingredients are not the same as listed. My husband has oilier skin so he's going to use the two tubes. But I would not reorder this as a Prime delivery because its not the old formulation. It can be found for two to three dollars less elsewhere.
