PVA is a real boon to skincare: it's easy to clean, sterilize and reuse, it's resistant to bacteria and other harmful microbes, it can last practically forever and it also is the softest most gentle way to dry one's face. It is also the softest, least abrasive wipe you can use which is good for removing cold creams, make up, soaps, masks. They hold a whole lot of water & the 4 X 4 size is perfect for cleaning your face, neck and decollete area, the fact that it's white is also a plus as you can see when you've wiped your face clean easily against the white background. One way I use these is the way I used to use tissues to remove face cream, only the "discard" pile is rinsed out & sometimes cleaned either by hand with soap and water or just throw them in the washing machine (or dishwasher) on the hot cycle if you want them sanitized & get a more thorough cleaning they work even better after a few trips through the washing machine! Great value for the price. I'd recommend Sponge Producer's other facial sponges: I have their bag of small natural painter's silk sponges for softness like a cotton ball, their cellulose sponges for exfoliation, sponge cloth facial wipes and make up wipes for a bit of texture and their PVA rounds when I need a perfectly smooth & absorbent surface. For the price, I highly recommend this and the Sponge Producer products I've had experience with thus far & mention in this review.
I thought the sponge cloth would be a little thicker, I did not like it at all! It did not feel good on my face and did not take my make up all off. It was so cheap looking after you got it wet. Don't waste your money on this Spongey Cloths.
