You could buy more expensive shampoos and get a slightly better product but for the price alone we're planning to continue using this. I started using this creme when my Grandmother (who has been using this same cream for 15 years) saw how my hands were after a hard day's work when I was working as a plumber's assistant. She gave me about 1/4 of the bottle she had left because my hands were so dry they were cracking and bleeding.

That changed with using this creme twice a day on my hands, and they looked like I was a white collar worker.

I have also used this lotion on my feet, which as a martial artist and healthcare worker (now) running around all day make them calloused and awful looking. I use a pumice stone and foot scrub and end with applying this lotion to them twice daily now.

Finally, I do keep a seperate bottle for my face, It does not clog my pores and leaves my skin looking radiant, not too dry or too oily. I have combination skin so a non-comedogenic face cream is a must for me. My only wish is that there would be a spf for the day creme so I wouldn't have to apply another layer of sun protection to my face.

All things considered this is a wonderful product and although usually I look for the bargain brands, I'm willing to pay a higher price for the quality of this product.

This product claims to be all natural, but it did not seem so in my opinion. It felt very drying to my sensitive skin. Instead of smelling like natural roses, it had a fake fragrance to it and smelled more like a hand soap to me. It did not over exceede my expectations, and I would not purchase it again. However, it does do the job of clensing.

Kerstin Florian Rehydrating Neroli Cleansing Milk

When I moved from the northeast to hot and humid Texas in the middle of a hot summer, my skin went crazy. To boot, I've always had sensitive skin that reacted severely to many different facial cleansers, day lotions and sunscreens. My formerly dormant rosacea resurfaced. My skin turned oily, I was sweating a lot (thanks, Houston!) and was constantly breaking out.

I started buying new products and trying different things, and nothing improved, and some of the new products made my skin worse. I wasted a lot of money in that endeavor and my face was a wreck. In desperation I sought the advice of an esthetician. She recommended three Kerstin Florian products (I had never heard of this brand before), and this neroli cleaning milk was one of them. She said they were high quality products, and worth the money. Mind you, I have never paid this much for a skin cleanser (my former favorite was about $3 a tube) but I was desperate.

This is a very gentle yet effective facial cleanser. I use two squirts per facewash. It is not overly-drying, it is so gentle. In the winter I didn't even need a facial moisturizer after using it. Now that the sun is stronger I am using a KF facial lotion with SPF.

I am seven-plus months into using the first bottle and there is still about 1/3 left. A little goes a long way.

The only odd thing about this product is that it does not foam up and it is not slippery and sudsy. It goes on "flat" feeling. It definately works but it may just not be what you are used to. Adjusting to that change was no big deal for me, especially since I know that the agents that are added to skin cleaners to help them create suds can be harsh on the skin, and I needed gentle.

It has a light scent that is derived from essential oils of neroli, from the flowers of the bitter orange tree.

My facial skin has calmed down, and I'm grateful for that.

This cleanser is gentle on the skin but still deep cleans my combination skin. The bottle lasts for months!The pump dispenses easily. Highly recommended.

PVA Skin Spongey Cloths

PVA is a real boon to skincare: it's easy to clean, sterilize and reuse, it's resistant to bacteria and other harmful microbes, it can last practically forever and it also is the softest most gentle way to dry one's face. It is also the softest, least abrasive wipe you can use which is good for removing cold creams, make up, soaps, masks. They hold a whole lot of water & the 4 X 4 size is perfect for cleaning your face, neck and decollete area, the fact that it's white is also a plus as you can see when you've wiped your face clean easily against the white background. One way I use these is the way I used to use tissues to remove face cream, only the "discard" pile is rinsed out & sometimes cleaned either by hand with soap and water or just throw them in the washing machine (or dishwasher) on the hot cycle if you want them sanitized & get a more thorough cleaning they work even better after a few trips through the washing machine! Great value for the price. I'd recommend Sponge Producer's other facial sponges: I have their bag of small natural painter's silk sponges for softness like a cotton ball, their cellulose sponges for exfoliation, sponge cloth facial wipes and make up wipes for a bit of texture and their PVA rounds when I need a perfectly smooth & absorbent surface. For the price, I highly recommend this and the Sponge Producer products I've had experience with thus far & mention in this review.

I thought the sponge cloth would be a little thicker, I did not like it at all! It did not feel good on my face and did not take my make up all off. It was so cheap looking after you got it wet. Don't waste your money on this Spongey Cloths.

After years of using the best salon brands, I finally got sick of dosing myself with synthetic chemicals just to wash my hair. I eat organic food. I wear some organic clothes. I buy organic cotten sheets. Why not switch to an organic shampoo?

Well, switching to organic shampoo was not as easy as it seemed. I went to the local co-op and bought an bottle, but it was horrible compared to the high-end salon brands that I was accustomed to. I tried another brand of organic shampoo and was equally unhappy. After talking to lots of people and stores, I had no better solution. So I decided to test them all: I bought a bottle of EVERY organic shampoo that I could find for sale in March of 2006. And I tried them all. The results of my test were striking: Only ONE shampoo was comparable to the high-end salon brand shampoos that I was accustomed to the "EO Gentle & Nourishing SHampoo Chamomile & Honey."

I've been using it for over a year now, and I'm still really pleased. I've also recommended it to several friends, who also love it. And I recommended it to my local co-op, who now carries it it's a best seller there.

I highly recommend this shampoo.

So before I get into the review let me just explain my shampoo history. I was raised on Pantene but I have tried just about everything you can get at the neighborhood drug store and many "salon" products. I have also bought some "salon" products in Japan when I have been there and I can say that those have been absolutely excellent. In fact, if it were not for the price (think thirty bucks for an eight ounce bottle) I would probably buy the stuff from Japan and import it forever.

Pretty much everything I have tried has seemed to dry out my hair a lot. Now, I understand that the point of Shampoo and conditioner is to strip your hair of the smelly oils your body produces and replace them with something that will smell nice and make your hair look good. However, I have always thought it would be better if you could somehow get rid of excess oil without stripping the hair itself. This is what I loved about the Japanese products I have tried and what I think the EO accomplishes.

Now, let me be clear, this shampoo does not have an appealing smell. If you have been around hippies it smells like something they would use as "natural deodorant". It has a lot of herby action going on with some weird lavender business thrown in. The good news here is that it doesn't seem to cling to your hair. I think this is because it is not trying to replace oils in your hair but rather sort of sloughing off the excess.

I have used this for about a month. My hair feels very healthy, almost like you would expect the opposite of split-ends to feel, and it is reflecting light in a way that it hasn't since I was a kid. While my hair usually gets really dry in the middle of winter, it feels nice even in the driest weather.

This is obviously a product conceived with hippies in mind. It is apparently organic and really simply made. All I know is that it feels really good on my hair and I don't have to use all kinds of conditioning products to get shiny, beautiful hair.

One note on application. I am not sure if I am just weird about how I apply shampoo, but I have always just applied it directly onto my hair and scalp and massaged it into a lather. I found that with this stuff you need to lather it up in your hands before applying it to your hair in order to avoid using a ridiculous amount. If "pre-lathered" I usually only use a dime or quarter sized amount.

Okay, I am Black woman over 40. And, I love this face wash. I suffered from pretty bad acne. I had been using ProActiv and decided to use Philosophy Purity. Yikes! My face developed horrible acne that ProActiv could not clear. I tried a number of different products before trying Oxy. And, man, does it work. My skin looks and feels wonderful. I use the complete Oxy line. I start with the scrub, then follow it up with the wash. I use the cleansing pads and spot treatment (which I actually apply to my full face). It keeps my face clear. And, if I get an occasional pimple, it is cleared very quickly. As compared to other acne treatments, Oxy is very inexpensive. I went ahead and started subscribing to the products so I would not run out.

WARNING: This is NOT for anyone with sensitive skin. This is very strong. Also, it can bleach clothing so be sure that you aren't wearing your favorite clothing when you wash up!

From about age 13 to 23, I regularly suffered from pretty bad acne outbreaks. I tried all sorts of medications to treat it, both prescribed and over the counter. I had become all but resigned to the idea that it would become a lifelong affliction. It was not until I discovered this stuff while in college that I had found a truly effective solution for my acne woes. I have been using it for about 4-5 years now and could not be happier. Save yourself some trips to the dermatologist and unhealthy antiobiotic prescriptions and give this a shot. The only downside to is that the active ingredient (benzoyle peroxide) is a bleaching agent. You've got to be careful that it doesn't get on your clothes, carpet etc.

Allot of people could use this product alone to stop breakouts if they have moderate adult acne but people with bigger adult acne problems should really try this product and Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub along with controlling or eliminating processed sugars in their diet before resorting to a Dermatologist. I have spent ALLOT of money on Dermatologist appointments, medications (which often damage the Liver or Kidneys) and the MD's brand of acne wash most of which did little more in the long term than damage my body and wallet.

My first hand recommendation for moderate to severe adult acne. While in the shower, use the Neutrogena scrub (mentioned above), rinse, then use this product (same amount of Benzoyl Peroxide as the MD wash) and rinse. If starting during a severe breakout, perform 2x per day but no more (because of skin drying). You should see results within 2-3 days and clear skin within 1-4 weeks (depending on severity of the infection). Finally, listen to your body before listening to the flip/flop notion that diet doesn't play a part in acne certain refined/processed sugars (usually from desserts and candy) provoke skin secretions that initiate and worsen acne. I don't know how this treatment would work on teen acne but I wish I had the chance to try it when I was a teen.

I would also recommend getting some bleach friendly bath towels Benzoyl Peroxide bleaches cloth and linen. Good luck!

This product has helped me sooo much for well over a decade. UNFORTUNATLY.., the frontside bottle pictured here (unscented version)is no longer available.If you look closly on the photo of ingredients it is the NEW version w added fragrance. Having easily aggreivatated skin, fragrance is the last thing I need to apply to my face. I bought the fragranced one thinking it was the original then spent two days wondering why i kept smelling grandpas cologne. Also my skin increased oil production because my face skin just can't handle fragrance. I once would swear BUY! this product ,but adding fragrance was a real "zitty" idea.Sorely disappointed.. guess I'll continue my search for a new face wash and pray I don't have to go back to dermatologist side affect gel.

It is good for short term use. It clears the existing acne. BUT, if you keep using this on a regular basis, it will cause white heads like it did to me. It doesn't clear face deeply which causes clogged pores and eventually more acne. So, I use this face wash as an emergency wash to get rid of the existing ones. My suggestion is, never use it for a long time.

I have bad skin. I know, everyone says that... but I mean it. From age 14 to 22 I had acne and now (at age 28) I still battle pimples, large pores, and oily skin. Plus, I'm allergic to some random synthetic stuff (mostly in shampoos and conditioners) and allergic reactions have made my skin super sensitized. I'd nearly given up on anything that promised to reduce redness AND keep my skin clear. That was until I stumbled upon the UltraCalming line. I honestly believe it will work for most people, especially as I've tried nearly every "adult acne" product at Sephora not to mention the regular brands like Aveeno, Clearasil, and Clean & Clear. This cleanser works great, though seems weird at first due to not mixing it with water so that it seems maybe a little greasy. But don't worry, it won't feel that way after you wash it off! I use it at night, followed by Dermalogica UltraCalming Mist 6 fl oz. and then Dermalogica UltraCalming Serum Concentrate 1.7 oz. However, at night, I skip the Dermalogica UltraCalming Barrier Repair, 1-oz (which I use in the mornings instead of the serum concentrate). I don't mind the smell, though it isn't flowery or necessarily pleasant (maybe a little astringent). This regimen has cleared up my skin (actually better than I expected considering how gentle the cleanser is) and almost totally evened out my skin tone (nearly ZERO rosacea!). I understand everyone is different and so would recommend purchasing the Dermalogica The Ultra Calming Treatment Kit 5 piece before investing in the full-size products. Or, if you're close to a Dermalogica salon or retailer, they're usually very generous with samples!

I love this cleanser. It's perfect for sensitive skin and I've tried everything. This gets all the makeup and dirt off in a gently and refreshing way. It's the best cleanser and I will definitely continue using it!

Was introduced to this cleanser by a skin care professional and love it. Wipes off with cotton pad and takes eye make-up with it, too. Large container lasts a very long time (at least a year), so that puts the price in perspective. Am a loyal buyer and have been for about 3 years now.

I bought this by accident. I meant to purchase the "Special Cleansing" gel but must have overlooked. This is one of those creamy/lotioney cleansers.... much like Mary Kay. I usually prefer bar soap over shower gel but LOVE this stuff. I am glad to see it is now available for purchase. I stay at Hiltons quite a bit and they started carrying PTR products recently. In September,the Hilton in SF had it with their bath products and I smelled it and really liked the smell and decided to try it and as soon as I got home I went on PTR's site to buy it, but it wasn't available for sale yet.

I like the beads and I have dry skin and it really does help to moisterize. Being a male, one thing I hate about alot of body wash's is the smell. I LOVE the scent. Most body washes that moisturize have a "perfumy" or floral smell and this doesn't. It has a pretty masculine smell to it which is something I appreciate.

I too first experienced this wash while staying at a Hilton, but in LA. I've been using the little sample in the shower at work after my noon bike ride. They're always quick showers because it's a relatively short 1.5 hour ride where we don't get too sweaty. But, using this wash, I always feel energized and refreshed. It has a really nice clean scent. The wash doesn't lather up a lot for me, but I use just a tiny amount since it's a short shower. My co-workers also seem to like it because I noticed it was getting used by others and was almost empty! So now I'm buying a bottle to replenish the supply. It's a little pricey for a bath wash but I don't mind a little indulgence if it's worth it. If it was a little less expensive, I'd give it 5 stars. Actually compared to Nuetrogena, it's not that much more expensive.

The product, featured in Hilton Hotels, is great! It works into a very nice lather, rinses cleanly and smells good, with a hint of citrus. The problem is the bottle. The moisturizing/exfoliating beads in the product get stuck in the tiny opening of the cap, rendering it very difficult/almost impossible to use. Further, the bottle itself is very slippery if it gets even a little soap on it. The result the bottle squirts out of your hand while you are trying to squeeze it hard enough to clear the logjam of the moisturizing/exfoliating beads in the tiny bottlecap opening. For a premium product, this is simply unacceptable.

Biore cleanser is my all time favorite and I've used all the high end to low end cleansers. It's like a party on my face. You can feel the toner working as you wash. And b/c it's self foaming you're not wasting a ton of product.

I like it because it's slightly foamy, gentle (I have acne prone, sensitive skin), but dissolves your makeup like nobody's business. I'm extremely lazy and do not want to follow a multi step process for removing makeup and cleansing my face. This even takes off eye makeup...waterproof mascara, too, it you gently rub your lashes for an extra 30 seconds. The bonus is that it already has some kind of toner in it, so once you dry your face you already feel like you've applied a toner. Yet another step I can skip so I can go straight from the shower right to the moisturizer. Awesome stuff. Not really sure why it's popularity at Target/drugstores/etc. has waned. :(

I am very glad I didn't read the 1-star review before I started using these products; I really don't know what those folks are talking about. I have fine hair, and I used the cleansing conditioner as instructed--it is marvelous. It is the only product I have ever found that completely tames fly-aways and frizzies, and it increased the body at the same time. It is NOT greasy--in fact, I follow the instructions and add a little product with some of the styling creme, combing it through my hair before I blow dry. It is expensive, but as far as I am concerned, it's worth its weight in gold!

After seeing a commercial, both my girlfriend and I looked at each other and said "I have to try this!" Although the WEN products are a bit costly, (this is why it got 4 stars instead of 5), I love the way my hair looks using this product. I get compliments all the time. I have very curly hair and can get a frizzy, fly away look but when I use this styling creme it gets rid of the frizz and my hair looks shiny and smooth.
