Firstly, I recommend using this product in the shower. The steam will really open up your pores and help lather the scrub up nicely. This starts off as a exfoliator but then morphs into a milky and really creamy cleanser once it is rubbed in. The brown sugar in this cleanser is a gentle exfoliant (much gentler than the St. Ives Apricot Scrub for instance). I also love how it is gentle enough to be used everyday without having to worry about micro tears in your skin. ALSO, I know this sounds really weird but this product actually doesn't taste that bad. One time while washing my face I got a little in my mouth and it kinda tasted like almond.... :)

I simply love this heavy duty sloughing scrubby cleanser. Make no mistake that this is some wimpy face wash; this is a monster when it comes to exfoliating and purifying the skin. Just because it's all natural doesn't mean it's not potent. The almond paste that smells like sugar coated lemon slices drizzled with caramel is studded with brown sugar and is fantastic for scrubbing the dead layers of skin that make it appear dull or uneven. I actually find myself using this twice a day, few times a week and no longer need to use any separate scrubs. This would probably be little too rough to use twice a day every single day, only because it does such a good job and the sugar bits are large, but they do melt after about 20 seconds so they dissolver away if you don't works them in. Every time I use this my skin not only feels amazing but has a glow and smoothness that can't be match with other product, this really has its own way of working and delivers results like nothing else. I adore using this before applying any kind of mask or in the morning, it makes my makeup go on smooth and even and I never get any irritation or break outs even though this works hard at polishing the skin.

I adore this brand, so far I have tried a few products and they are all fabulous. The lip serum this brand makes is also really good. Overall all the smells and textures from BeFine are so appealing that they can sit in a grocery store next to all the gorgeous fruits and veggies and compete with what they do to me complexion.

I received several sample packets of this exfoliating cleanser in my birchbox and was really looking forward to using it because I am always on the look out for an exfoliating cleanser that works well on my over 30, acne prone skin. However, I found that this cleanser was too gritty for my liking. The sugar and almond particles are very large and I feel that they were aggravating my skin more than giving it the mild buffing that I usually look for from an exfoliating cleanser. I must admit, however, that I was impressed with the naturalness of this product...it definitely seems like something that could have been mixed up in someone's kitchen and didn't have any harsh or mediciney ingredients. In fact, I accidentally spilled some on the bathroom floor and soon after found a party of small ants going crazy for the sugar. Therefore, if products containing natural ingredients are high on your priority list, and you are looking for high level exfoliation, I would recommend this product. For me, however, the harsh feeling on my skin was just too much.

I absolutely love this exfoliate. Received a sample in my birch box awhile back and have been hooked ever since. Great product for those looking for a simple and great exfoliate/cleanser. Definitely not too rough and leaves your face super soft. Also smells amazing!

A friend told me about this and i decided to take her word for it. The consistency is gritty but it melts away into a smooth milky cleanser so you can't "overscrub" and you could use it every day. It doesn't leave your face feeling tight. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star product is the scent. I expected it to be more sweet than spicy. It smells like gingerbread to me. Not a bad scent, just not what i expected. Won't keep me from buying it again!
