When I first tried this face cleanser, it was in Japan. I bought it from one of the many Gift Gate stores that sell Hello Kitty products. I used it for the entire year I lived in Japan, and it was great. My face stayed clear, my skin was soft, and it was inexpensive. However, once I came back to America, I noticed a distinct difference. Now, when I use this cleanser, it dries out my face and leaves a lot of residue, even after I wipe my face with a towel, which is embarrassing if I don't notice before going out. I don't know if it's because of a difference in water, but I do know that I did not have these problems when using this in Japan.
