I've been using this product for years, and I can't say that I agree with the reviews that claim this product is different. It isn't, it works just fine and helps smooth dry frizzy (wavy?) hair like mine. This product makes my hair very glossy & it smells great even after my hair has dried. My hair is very sleek & shiny after using my flatiron with a minimum of styling products needed. I love having 6 bottles delivered (at such a great price!) since a local store has stopped carrying all Helene Curtis products. I'll be back for 6 more bottles when I run out!
But this doesn't see to be the real Thermasilk. It's purple in color and lighter in texture than my memories of the old stuff. It works fairly well for my hair but isn't quite the miracle-worker of my memories.
If you can buy a smaller quantity than 6 bottles, I would try that first. I'm going to be using this stuff for a long time...

Wish they had not stopped making this. The only thing I can use. Hope I can continue to keep finding it!I don't think this is the actual thermasilk that used to be sold in stores. Now Sunsilk has bought out the old Thermasilk company. This product doesn't smell like the old Thermasilk. I vaguely does but it smells more fruity. Like they were trying to get it right but made it too fruity... also I think the actual bottles and branding is off from the real stuff, too. Having said that it does still seem pretty good to use... But it definitely seems bad for my seborrhea (sulfates). HARD TO FIND so when I found it I tried to buy them all and got lucky hope to see more soon
