Mirta De Perales Herbal Fresh Shampoo, 16 Ounce

I absolutely love Mirta de Perales hair products. I've placed several reviews for her products because I've fallen in love with all of Mirta de Perales hair products. I had colored my hair jet black in July 2009. I had noticed my hair had become extremely frizzy but didn't do anything about it until October 2009 when my hair started falling out. I went into panic mode and did extreme research about which products were safe for my hair. I learned that I had damaged my hair's elasticity and refused to use any shampoo with sodium lauryl sulfate. Mirtha uses tea lauryl sulfate which is the gentlest cleanser. This herbal shampoo smells like the old Clairol herbal essence shampoo. It smells divine! Long story short, I bragged so much at work about Mirtha de Perales (because her product line has literally turned my hair into silk)that I eventually "unwillingly" had to become a representative. My co-workers kept sending me to the only store which sold the product ( 5 long blocks away).

So I didn't want to continue these long walks and eventually called the company, placed an order and had the products shipped directly to my home. I suffered so much due to hair damage, that my knees would shake from the fear everytime I took a shower. People, her products are absolutely wonderful and I would dare not use another product on my hair. I absolutely love my hair. Its growing longer than it ever did in the past and I wholeheartedly believe in Mirta de Perales products. My younger sister had hair loss and now she swears by Mirtha. Imagine my delight when she first tried it, and texted me ," I lost less hair when I washed my hair, I'm so happy". This has been touted as smelling "exactly" like the original Herbal Essence shampoo. It doesn't, but is the product that smells closest to it very pleasant scent overall, and seems like a decent shampoo.

My biggest problem was with delivery it took a month and several follow-ups to get the product. Amazon is usually amazing with delivery, so this was an aberration, but still . . .

One final nit-pick: the photo is not the actual product being sold, so it may confuse you.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: The original shipment was found by the Post Office, and Amazon.com did everything to right the error that wasn't theirs. They and their Customer Service department are exceptional.
