Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense Spf 50 Facial Moisturizer, 1.7-Ounce (Pack of 2)

The CETAPHIL UVA/UVB DEFENSE SPF 50 MOISTURIZER is pretty thick, so all you need is a little dab to cover the entire face.

The product claims to be "fragrance-free" but it smells just like every other sunscreen out there. That "sunscreen" plastic scent is really strong at first, but it went away after about 3-5 minutes or so.

I found the cream left a shiny-sheen on my face, though it wasn't oily and it's supposed to be "non-greasy," but I definitely had some shine going on.

Another thing I noticed was the thick-white color of the CETAPHIL UVA/UVB cream--probably from the titanium-dioxide--left my face with an ashen(ashy) color and I have very light olive-colored skin. But I've seen this happen with other sunscreens out there with an SPF higher than 25, so it's not unusual. But if you're dark-complected it can be a problem. Even if you aren't, these thick sunscreens start to cake after reapplying and then turn white with perspiration so be forewarned.

It's not bad for the higher SPF--especially if you're going to be out in the sun like at a parade or ball game or something--but I find the CETAPHIL UVA/UVB MOISTURIZER to be just average.

The small 1.7 oz size is handy to carry around in a purse or pocket, but it's not so good at the current price! You can get the same amount of UVA/UVB protection from Coppertone SPF # 50 Oil-Free Fragrance-Free 8 oz. for less money and more product.

This is a very good sunscreen product, and very straight forward. It has an impressive amount of effective sunscreen ingredients in a standard lotion base. There are no bells and whistles. It's sunscreen without fragrance, so it's suitable for men and women.

My face is oily and my neck is normal. This is somewhat heavy on my face, but not surprisingly so, given the high degree of protection. It is not heavy on my neck at all. It does leave a bit of a white cast which seems to fade as the skin absorbs the product. No one has called me Casper yet, so I don't think anyone has noticed. Neither the whiteness nor the heaviness are deal-breakers for me. They're a very minor tradeoff for a good sunscreen. This is worth trying no matter your skin type, and I will use this product again.

This product is very pleasant to use. It has almost no odor and it goes on like moisturizer. But the white titanium dioxide paints your skin a ghostly white. It soaks in after a while with extra rubbing, but I waited for 15 minutes and my face was still noticeably white. That is too long for me. If you have very pale skin it might not be so noticeable, and you might need the ultra-high SPF more. I could not consider this product as anything but a sun-block.

I guess this product might be okay if you have very dry skin, want a high SPF, and don't mind the fact that the zinc oxide isn't micronized and leaves your skin with a chalky appearance. For me though the deal breaker was how slimy I felt after putting it on. I don't even want this on my body.

All Terrain Natural Wonder Wash

I had never used this before, but had been impressed by other All-Terrain products (the sunscreen and especially the insect repellent). I was going to a forest in the Philippines where I knew I'd be bathing in a mountain stream, so 100% biodegradeable and PH neutral were a must. I didn't have very high expectations, but it worked great as both a body soap and to clean my hair. My sister (who had been living there for 5 months and was using another product) commented on how it didn't make my hair look greasy and was promptly using it upon her next bathing. She thought it was great too. This will be my go to anytime that I need this type of product. Zia Natural Skincare Fresh Cleansing Gel

Zia has long been a high-end line of natural products, and I have become a devotee in the past few years. I looked long and hard for a good paraben-free cleanser before I found the Zia Basics fresh cleansing gel with sea algae, and I absolutely loved it. Earlier this year, Zia changed their product line to remove parabens from all the products and base them all on aloe. I bought the new version and was disappointed to find several new chemical ingredients. When I used it on my face, it burned my skin. I have taken it back, and stocked up on the old formula through online suppliers. I hope Zia comes back around but until then, I don't recommend this product, particularly if your skin is at all sensitive, or you like to avoid alcohols in your facial products like I do.

Skin type = Rosacea. Have been using it for years, and it's the only cleanser that has not irritated my skin.

I do not have sensitive skin, so this cleanser works well for me. I had very oily skin/acne as a teenager and into my twenties. I am currently 41 and have normal skin that can tend to be a bit oily; the Zia products for "normal" skin work well for me. This cleanser feels better on my face than the older version felt (i.e. smoother and silkier). I highly recommend this product!

I just finished first bottle of this wash and I love it. Lightly scented (very feminine), very gentle and cleans well. I use with the Clarisonic face scrubber system and have had great results. Pricey, but you don't need to use much so it lasts a long time. One bottle lasted from March through July and I used twice daily. Definitely better to buy from Amazon than doctor's office my first bottle was $35 and got second on here for much much less. I have combination skin with occasional acne and this wash kept my skin very clear and made it feel softer. Not sure if the softness is from the clarisonic though since I started using both at the same time.

Ocean Cleansing Mudd is a wonder product. It is the ONLY all-natural product that visibly reduces your pores all over your face, even those pesky ones on your nose. Boscia Soothing Cleansing Cream, 5 Fluid Ounce

I feel as though I am applying cream on my face when I use this product, so my face feels moisturized and cleansed. The pump dispenser on the other hand is bit of a hassle. I could get one pump squirt on my hand just fine but anymore and I have to unscrew the pump off.

I am very disappointed with this product. It's weird and ineffective. You're supposed to massage this on DRY skin and then rinse off. I followed the directions exactly, and my face felt all greasy afterward. Plus, the product smells funny, almost like milk, and I did not enjoy that. After I washed my face, it didn't feel clean, so I rubbed a damp cloth on my cheek, and guess what? It wasn't. There was still a bunch of makeup on my face. I had to rewash my face with my regular foaming cleanser. I am glad I received this stuff as a free sample, because I would have been super mad if I'd actually paid for it.

I have very sensitive skin and products that people or magazines swore by would only wreck my skin. I don't remember how I discovered this 2 years ago, but I absolutely love it. This soap is the best! It is very deep cleaning, and the nectarine mint smell is lovely. It's fruity without being overwhelming, it's very balanced. I wish that Bath and Body works had more products (e.g. shower gel etc) with this scent, I like this a lot better than Twilight woods and some of the vanilla stuff that smells like donuts.

I bought this on sale and it is really worth it. Honestly having a nice smelling soap encourages me to wash my hands more.

elure Advanced Facial Wash

I purchased this after getting the advanced skin lightening lotion from my dermatologist to treat melasma. Unfortunately, I have not yet seen a result but the cleansing wash is fantastic and totally worth the money. You only need a small amount, and it lathers beautifully. It also has the same ingredient that is in the lotion which is supposed to help with the melasma. Perhaps using the lotion will be preventative, but I know that the face wash is an effective cleanser, and I really like the way it lathers. I also have used it with my clarisonic and it works beautifully. Definitely worth the money. I paid $22.11, and it was shipped free via my Amazon prime.

I bought this cleanser right after i saw "bubzbeauty's skin routine" video. I have to say this cleanser is great for sensitive skin, my skin felted soooo refreshed after used. The scent is light and smells good. The pump is very easy to use (only need 1 pump for the face). When you pump out the product its a bubble foam, therefore its easy to apply. All you do is u spread it around your face gently and massage it all over then wash it off. I rate this 5 star, because its great for my sensitive skin, and im so grateful for bubzbeauty to show me this cleanser. I have fairly sensitive skin and when I used this product it dried my face out, but not to the point of appearing flaky afterwards. I used a silicone pore pad (sephora)with this cleansing foam for 1-2 minutes. It was supposed to be moisturizing but I don't think it mixes well with my skin chemistry. The texture is very much like velvet, or like cool whip, which is REALLY interesting.

It is such a weird cleansing! It doesn't lather at all and doesn't even smell nice. I didn't feel any cleanliness after washing my body with this thing. Thin to Thick Extra Volume Shampoo

Best shampoo ever! The only REAL shampoo I've ever used! The first time I used it, I wondered why I had spent 28 years using junk on my hair.

This really gets your hair cleaner than anything! You run your fingers over the wet hair, and it literally squeaks clean! There is no waxy residue like many other commercial shampoos leave in your hair. I was a little worried it would leave my hair unmanageable, but it came out so soft and no tangles! Adds quite a bit of body and bounce.

It's supposed to have ingredients that help you grow even more hair, and one thing I've noticed is that a lot less hair comes off my head when I brush now.

The MAIN reason I got this shampoo is because it has NO sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates! That stuff is used in clinical trials to IRRITATE the skin so that they can test lotions and creams. It causes an allergic reaction in some people, builds up in your skin and can hurt your immune system. I really wanted to get away from it. This brand (JASON) does not put any of that in any of their products.

I love this shampoo. I invested in some Nioxin after lots of people suggested it, and I couldn't tell much of a difference, but I always figure buying shampoos to make a huge difference on your hair was a bit of a crapshoot anyway, so I didn't hold it against Nioxin. But then on a whim I bought some of this at the grocery store last month, and I swear I can tell a difference. I lost a lot of hair due to poor diet and high stress (paired with significant weight loss) at the end of the summer, and for the first part of the fall I was so insecure and self conscious about my hair. I've tried to keep up with some vitamins and have been eating a lot better, so I'm sure that plays a part in the change in my hair, but I swear this shampoo has also made a difference when no other shampoo ever has before. My hair is babyfine and flat and losing ANY of it was frustrating. It really does feel thicker now.

Almay Cleansing Lotion 1 with Cucumber Facial Liquid Cleansers

I have used this cleansing lotion for years, but since Almay discontinued it, finding it in stores is impossible, but I can still get it on line. Cleans without drying, not oily or greasy.

I have very dry, sensitive skin and I am always trying to find a cleansing cream at a reasonable price. Presently the one I have been using is over $35 for 4 ounces, but it doesn't burn me or give me little bumps. Sounds nice, doesn't it? Anyway, it has been a struggle my whole life. When I saw this, the price made it worth a gamble, along with the other positive review of it. I figured I could give it a try and if it didn't work I would only be out 6 bucks or so. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it is very gentle, yet thorough. I have even used new cleansers to wake up in the morning and had my eyes swollen because of some ingredient in it that caused an allergic reaction OR my face would be beet red and irritated. When I got up, I timidly felt my face and it was smooth and soft... so I used it another day. Same thing. I was sold because whenever I have had a bad reaction, it has been right away. I ended up ordering the 6 pack from amazon for only $25! Great deal for a very good cleanser.

For nearly all my life I was a dove skin care product person but about 5 or 6 years ago I couldn't find the products that I used to buy from Wal-Mart. I never found a suitable replacement until now.
