I am a guy with oily skin, tends to be somewhat acne prone. This keeps my face from being drenched in oil all day. I generally need to apply it twice and it takes care of me all day. It reduced the redness from my acne that was healing up which was a nice perk I didn't expect. The nicest part of this astringent vs an other is that it smells good. I can't the stand of other astringents, a nice lemon smell vs sulfur or menthol. Its something I don't mind using in public. Pretty easy to apply it, just put it on a cotton ball and apply. Ponds Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser

This is NOT the original classic Ponds cold cream. Unilever bought Ponds and added a lot of yucky chemicals to this product (yes, the classic cold cream your mother and grandmother used safely for years that had a wonderful wmell).

Here are the real list of ingredients of the new "classic" Ponds:

Mineral Oil, Water, Ceresin, Beeswax, Triethanolamine, Behenic Acid, Fragrance, Ceteth 20, Cetyl Alcohol, Carbomer, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Methylparaben

Note that on the amazon site here, they do NOT give all the ingredients! Just the first few, to give the impression that this is all-natural.

Of DMDM Hydantoin, note:

A study found "An increase in the use of DMDM hydantoin in cosmetic products will also inevitably increase the risk of cosmetic dermatitis in consumers allergic to formaldehyde."

Yep, that's right. Unilever has added a formaldehyde producing chemical to your grandmother's cold cream!

We all know that parabens are bad. But what about Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate?

"Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate is used as a preservative in cosmetic formulations; it is acutely toxic by inhalation and should not be used in products that can be aerosolized or inhaled."

Ponds Cold Cream is great for make-up removal, dry skin and general moisturizing.

This cream will remove make-up including waterproof mascara, long wearing make-up and lipstick and concealer. Knock on wood I haven't found any make up yet this won't take off. Sometimes if you have on heavier make up you should use it twice to be sure you get all the residue off but that's more in the removal not the product.

This product leaves my skin feeling fresh, moisturized and soothed from the silky cream. The generic versions do not stack up against the original Ponds is the best by far.

Recently I've have had to change my skincare routine because my skin is now DRY instead of normal. This past winter I was HORRIFIED to find my complexion looking "pasty" with my usual products. PROCEDURE:

I use Ponds to clean my face/take off my makeup in the evening.

* I apply cold cream only to my cheeks and a little to the forehead. I lightly massage spreading it all around to clean the skin.

* Next I apply it to my CLOSED (un dampened) eyelids. I lightly spread it around the brow area & unto my lashes to remove any eye makeup.

PLEASE NOTE If you're wearing mascara it WILL get a bit messy! (You may prefer to use an eye makeup remover I don't.)

*After that I either wipe it off with several tissues OR a damp wash cloth depending on my mood. (I rinse the washcloth a few times as I go.)

NOTE: I've noticed that my skin stays more "dewey" if I use tissues.

Evan Healy Rose Face Care Kit

For the last few years I have used Murad products and a Clarisonic. I have also used REN which I love but can only get at Sephora and it tend to be more expensive than Murad. I was happy with my skin before, but I really believe i have seen improvement in the three weeks I have been using EH products. I think it may be the toner making the biggest difference. The only complaint that I have is that the red clay mask is a bit messy and, if you have white towels, you best have your stain treatment standing by. I cannot get the red out with soap and rinsing. I think I may pick up some dark washcloths to keep on hand for the weekly mask. The upside is that the powdered clay mask more readily lends itself to travelling that something in a liquid or creme. I would recommend these products and really like their natural/organic nature. I also like that I can pick it up at Whole Foods when grocery shopping.

I'm in love with the regular liquid Purity cleanser, so I thought I'd give these wipes a try. These wipes are awful. They leave a greasy feeling all over my face. I'm a new mom, so I thought this would be a quick way to wash my face. I just don't like them at all b/c my face ends up really shiny and tacky feeling. These are nothing like the regular cleanser. I'm just keeping them for a makeup remover before using cleanser and thats it. I'd say just stick with the regular liquid cleanser and don't waste your money on these.

I am a total wipe addict baby wipes, anti-bac wipes...you name it, I love them. I'm also totally lazy when it comes time to go to bed, and the whole face washing ritual is often too much. I got a facial and they used only A@#$a products an told me to buy over $120 worth of products that should only last about 1 month. I've used this scrub for almost 3 weeks and I love it. I've integrated the scrub into my nightly routine 3 days out of the week. When I first tried it I noticed the smell wasn't the most pleasant. I agree with the other reviewer about the thick film it leaves on your face, but I thought it was great because it was very moisturizing and felt great. I first tried the Burt's Bees 'Deep Cleansing Cream' with chamomile and soap bark, which really grew on me and I loved, but decided to switch things up when I ran out. To put things simply, even after buying this product, I found myself trying to squeeze whatever was left from my deep cleansing bottle. I liked the idea that this one was for acne, and although I haven't really had any breakouts since using it, it just left my skin not feeling very clean. Rosallini Pink Silicone Facial Cleansing Pad Blackhead Remover Brush

Works very well, my face feels very clean after I use it w/ my facial wash. I feel as if it's very Hygienic as well instead of using your fingers.

This American company copied this same product for there line of drug store products like loreal, both do the same function since there are silicone pad for any kind of cleansing products one has already have the product of cleansing while the other docent. I bought my brother the loreal one in a drug store and when my pink little pad arrived I compared them.

I have mine rosallini pink product for now a weak and it works very decent is a good size for my hand since I am very petittet and the little form of the drop with the pointed end is good for hard places to reaches for example part of the nose at least for me.

Do only thing I'm not happy about is one is the price.

The other is while using it does have a form of a grip handle that it has on the back but is not very secure since it tends to slip of while using.

Over all will I buy it again? Nope, sorry but I will stick to my old regimen of oatmeal and brown sugar with honey scrubs and other cleanser I do myself. If you are going to buy it just buy the one least expensive since they all work the same. Hope this helps.

Product came as pictured. It works well with my cleanser and I think it should last for awhile. It fits my small hands fine and I didn't find it to be too slippery. I use this alternately with my cleansing face brush. I have very dry flaky sensitive skin and this didn't fell too rough or leave my face red. I bought this on a whim and wasn't sure it would really be useful. I'm glad I bought it.

I have Rosacea, so I use a couple of Dermalogica's Ultra Calming products. The mist is particularly nice on hot summer days when that spritz just cools me off a bit and cools down the redness of my skin as well. I love it!

Sadly disappointed. The UltraCalming Mist is Dermalogica's weak replacement for the Soothing Protection Spray. I don't like it. The problem is the two products are nothing alike. To call it a replacement is plain wrong. Not only does it not hydrate my face it dry's it out just like every other product I used prior to finding the Soothing Protection Spay! Yes, the old product had an oily residue which I found locked in the moisture while locking out the pollutants that irritated my skin. To add insult to injury UltraCalming Mist is only 6oz! That's two oz shorter than the Soothing Protection Spray it replaced but at the same price! Way to stick to your customers Dermalogica.

I have a difficult time finding this cleanser, so when I found the three-pack for this price, I was thrilled. I use this cleanser with Burt's Bees Cream Deep Cleanser, and I find between the two of them I've got a good cleansing balance. I do notice if I use just the Green Tea Cleanser, my skins tends to dry out a little. However, it is fantastic at clearing up and reducing redness of break-outs.

This is an extremely difficult product to find in stores. I have a mild form of rosacea and find this cleanser most tollerable to my skin.

So I had received the serum and after two weeks of using that bought this lotion. Why do I love it, my face is soft and dewy and it feels firmer. I was disappointed when I recieved this set, which was to be a gift for a friend. The packaging looked so much nicer online. In fact, the basket is cardboard and the products are very cheap. The sisal body sponge was torn and frayed! The product description is very misleading and I would be embarrassed to give this as a gift! I tried to return it, but it was not returnable! The product is cheap, not worth the money, and the whole experience was very frustrating.

This was a Christmas gift from my very well meaning and thoughtful daughter-in-law and son. I understand it is not returnable, so I will find it ANOTHER more appreciative home. I got this as a gift from Amazon from my sister. What a big disappointment! My poor sis was so embarrassed by the quality of the items she went to Bath and Body Works to supplement it. It needed more items like shampoo, bath oils or even bubble bath. A body scrub with the two loofahs would have been nice. I could have done without all the aromatherapy stuff they put in the CARDBOARD "basket" really, for $40 bucks? Cardboard? I have literally tried 100 different cleansers but this one is my last. It has a thick creamy consistency but rinses off completely leaving my skin really clean, soft and glowing. Best of all no breakouts. It reminds me of Philosophy's Purity in a bottle but with out the price tag. I just bought the collagen day lotion and will eventually buy the whole line. I am also hoping Keri Glassman comes out with a hair care line.

I am nearing 40 and my skin has changed. I have a VERY oily "T" zone and my skin dries and peels on my cheeks. Proactive was my cleanser of choice until a few years ago. It became too harsh for my skin and dried the sides of my face. I even tried their gentle line and it still didn't help. I have tried numerous cleansers and moisturizers and nothing helped my skin.

I stumbled across this cleanser on clearance in Rite Aid. I didn't think it would work but it was worth a shot for a little over $3.00. I was worried the first time I used it. It is thick and creamy like lotion and a little goes a LONG way. I thought it would break my face out because it seemed so heavy. I was wrong. I felt a difference the minute I washed it off of my face. My face was hydrated and smooth. There was no residue and it felt clean and soft. It was wonderful not to have the oily forehead and crimson dried blotches on my face. It worked in one application and my skin has only gotten better in the last week of using it.

My mom has sensitive skin like me so I let her use some of mine. She couldn't believe the difference it made. Her bathroom cabinet was littered with every cleanser made and she threw all of them away. The day after I loaned her mine she called to inform me that she visited every Rite Aid in the area and bought out their stock of Skin Apetit that was on clearance. lol Now we both have six bottles in our private stock.

I haven't tried anything else from their line. I plan on trying them in the near future. If the line is half the quality of their cleanser then I will be using it. The price may seem a little steep but I will buy it even after my clearance stock is used. It is that good. This is the first time EVER that I haven't had to use moisturizer (after cleansing) to get soft skin. I love it!

At the age of 48, I have tried so many different cleansers for my face. When I found this, I knew my search was over for the right cleanser. I've been using it for over a year now and will never stop using it. Hopefully, they won't discontinue it. A little goes a long way. It is nice and creamy and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. i really like this product. I originally got 3 bottles at a Duane Reade that was on clearance for aprx $3 per bottle. I have only bought 2 other bottles (thru Amazon) because it's so expensive. Shiseido The Skincare Purifying Cleansing Foam

I have combination skin so I use this as my daily cleanser, along with some other targeted products for days when I am breaking out. Have been using this for a few years now, and while I often find that other products stop working after a while or just start to irritate my skin, the Shiseido Purifying Cleansing Foam has been the only consistent one that I continue to use.

It is very gentle, not too drying, and creates a nice foam. A lot of people say that foaming cleansers tend to strip your skin of needed natural oils but I don't feel that this does that at all.

It does a pretty good job of removing make up as well, but I suggest using an eye makeup remover as I really have to scrub to get my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye liner, which is not even waterproof (but is a fantastic smudge proof liner!)

$30 is a bit pricey for a cleanser, but a tiny pea size dollop is all you need, so the tube lasts me maybe 6 months with 2X/day use.

The items were shipped fast. The product was as described Shiseido is a great product and would recommend it to anyone.

I first used this product when it came in a free trial size and found out that a little dab is all I needed to wash my face completely (the trial size lasted "forever"). I am in my 50's but still have oily skin and get an occasional blemish or blackhead..but not if I use Shiseido Purifying foam every night before bed. The product make my face feel "squeeky-clean", so if you have dry skin, this may not be the product for you.

I have used this product for years. It is very gentle to the skin. I do have 2 complaints.

1. It tends to get a little dry towards the end. Have to make sure you close it completely each time after use.

2. If you think you're done with it, you're not. There is still enough product to last you at least 3 weeks. If you cut it in half you'll find there is still a lot of product left behind. I have been doing that. My only concern is whether this is a good practice as I might have contaminated the rest of the unused portion.

Even with the above 2 concerns, I still am using it. I have been using Shiseido skin care series for the past 10 years and I don't have a problem with my complexion.

Can't be sure if it truly works but I really think it does! I've been using this after i wash my face and before I put lotion on. I do think that it helps control emerging acne and generally smoothing out my skin. I also love that it feels refreshing to put on after a long day.

I didn't know how this could make any difference but tried it when I was visiting my son and daughter-in-law. I've always had that "too tight" dry facial skin no matter what kind of moisturizer I've used. This really made a difference and I'd recommend it without reservation.

I have really sensitive skin, prone to eczema and acne -a really tough combination. The acne scars, while the eczema forces me to switch product lines every four months, once my skin can't tolerate the ingredients anymore. I've tried everything from Neutrogena to Clinique, ProActiv and others.

Nothing seems to work as well as Yes for Carrots Daily Facial Cleanser has. It's what I like to call "The Enforcer". If a pimple begins flaring up, Yes to Carrots (at least for my skin anyway) begins to make it go away, quickly and quietly, so it doesn't balloon to Shrek-size proportions. And without scarring! It hasn't handled the eczema as well. But, it usually flares up when I stop using Yes for Carrots. But, as far as acne control, this stuff works better than any commercial product I've purchased in the past. It's definitely a keeper for me. In fact, I'm running out, so next weekend, I'm getting more!

The only drawback is the smell -which tends to linger long after you use the product...mostly smells like carrots and sweet potatoes. But I still recommend this product.

I absolutely love this cleanser. I tried it at my friend's house and had to buy it. Couldn't find it at my local Target so I ordered from Amazon. The cleanser wipes away makeup easily and is not overly drying. I no longer have to use an eye makeup remover, I simply use this instead. I felt the cream cleanser did a pretty good job in actually ridding my face of dirt & impurities.

My wife and I used to use Neutrogena products and then we found the Yes To line. My wife has oily skin and I have normal skin. This cleanser works well for us both. It cleans deeply without irritating. It removes my wife's makeup (including waterproof mascara) without issue. Smells clean not like carrots. It is a white cleansing lotion not orange.

I really like the facial cleanser. It is as I said very gentle and non drying. It almost does away with the need for moisturizer. I like the fact that it is only mildly foaming. It is a little bit difficult to wash off so it might be easier to use in the shower. It is worth the extra rinsing. I think this be be my new go to cleanser.

I wanted to add that it takes very little of this to do a fine job, thus make it cost effective.

After several weeks, I am still impressed with this product.

I plan on getting some for my sick aunt that does not feel like taking the extra effort to moisturize, I am sure that when she if feeling better, she will thank me for this mild non drying cleanser.
