This is a wonderful value; one bottle lasts for several months. I use lots of product in my hair and the shampoo gets it all out with the first washing. It's not harsh and doesn't dry out the hair like some clarifiers can do either.

I actually use this for my bichon frises! It washes up well, lathers nicely and rinses well. It leaves no residue. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the fragrance is a bit strong. Otherwise a very nice shampoo for the cost.
