I've struggled with razor bumps all my life. I've tried all kinds of methods for helping black men with sensitive skin avoid the painful, ghastly sight of bumps, but they never worked. I used Noxzema on the recommendation of an uncle and saw a dramatic improvement within a week. If you're struggling with bumps, this is what I advise:

1) Before you shower, clean your face with warm water, and then apply Noxzema all over the shaving area. Shave using only Noxzema, a shaving stick, and warm water.

3) Do this twice a week, and you'll see dramatic improvement.

BTW, this is the best for elbows and knees in the winter; and it smoothes over heel calluses when I apply it right after shower and in the morning.

I've been using Cotton Clouds for years now. I used to buy them at Duane Reade in NYC and it was the only place I could find that carried them. When they stopped carrying them, I was so happy to find them on Amazon. Cotton Clouds are the perfect size, super soft, and you can use as much or as little as you need by separating the layers. I find most cotton pads absorb too much of my toner or nail polish remover, wasting product or they don't absorb enough when you're using them to clean your face and just shmear your makeup remover around. Not these. They are perfect. People think I'm crazy for loving them so much but it's great when you find something that just works.

This face wash is my new favorite. It even helps stop my hormone-related break outs as soon as they start every month. I came across this years ago, at a store, but the product is japanese and thus harder to find than say, an Olay or Neutrogena cleanser. But this is the best face wash i've ever tried. I have breakout prone skin and this does a way better job cleansing than specific acne treatment face washes. It foams up so a little (size of penny or even smaller) goes a LONG way. It leaves your face so scrubbed and clean and fresh. From this girl, with the combination, acne prone skin, i'd recommend this wash!

I bought this in conjunction with the Moisturizer. This foam is one of the most thorough I have tried to clean my oily skin: it removes all make up, leaves the skin soft and not stripped, and smells like a neutral soap. I have been switching up my skin care game recently and although I have a couple of old standby favorites I'm letting a few new products take a turn at bat. This creme-to-foam face wash from Lancome has impressed me on several levels.

It starts out like a very rich cream and takes only a very small amount to work. As you massage the cream into your face it begins to transform to a cream/foam not too sudsy, definitely stays feeling more creamy than soapy on your face. Gets my face feeling clean but not stripped, in fact it feels softer than with my usual favorite Cetaphil Gentle Face Wash. I've been using this for about ten days and my skin has remained clear, no breakouts, and the combination portions of my skin seem a little more balanced.

It has a soft almost tea rose scent but does not leave a scent on my face. I like that this cleanser works either with just my hands or I can use it with my Clarisonic too since it doesn't foam tons of lather.

Minus one star for expensive relative to results.

This is the first time I ordered the Lancome foaming cleanser (I've been using the Shiseido for years). This product creates a really nice rich-but-light foam that cleans effectively without drying. I really like this cleanser. It only takes a small amount to work and then it turns into a nice creamy foam that gets your face feeling clean and soft. It helps keep me from breaking out. I think it's great for 20's skin. One tube lasts a really long time. I got it as part of a free gift from Lancome at the counter a long time ago when I bought some makeup, so I was a little surprised just now to find out how expensive it is to buy. I generally just use a glycerin soap, but I bought a tube of this cleanser as part of a package. The cleanser has a lovely soft scent and a creamy feel. You wet your face and then smooth it on. At 2 oz., I thought this tube would last only a short while, but you only need to squeeze out the tiniest bit. It will last me a very long time. And I'm glad, because I really like it!

I definitely waited to buy myself a Clarisonic, approximately 2 years thinking "Well my skin isn't bad right now so could I really justify spending more than $100 on something to wash it better?" So I got the Olay system and my skin got better and continued on that way till I moved to Korea, my skin reacted badly to the recent hot summer and bad pollution that Korea experienced and I can back with clogged pores and pimples worse than I ever had in high school. So when I came back I broke down and about the Clarisonic Mia 2 in Mango.

First things first, this does not effect the functioning of this product in the slightest, but I wouldn't call the color Mango. It is a very awkward color, but that is "sadly" what attracted me to this item. On to the functioning of this product, what people read reviews for.

Design: The Clarisonic Mia 2 is very well designed, the charger is magnetic so that it quickly attaches (a vibrates to let you know it's charging) and you wont have to deal with bent prongs or the potential danger of plugging your wet/moist Mia 2 into a live current. It has an on button, and a button for adjusting the two speeds it has. This system has the feature of a pre-timed cleansing cycle of 20 seconds on your forehead (alert to change locations), 20 seconds on your T-zone + chin (alert to change locations), 10 seconds each cheek with the little alert in between, then it turns off. Now here is a warning when you push that on button this timed sequence starts immediately and then it will shut off. You cannot restart this cycle, but you can pause it so when you turn it on be in position.

The Brush: The brush head is a little bit rough feeling when you use it. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend either buying a different head preemptively because it will hurt.

Cleansing Ability: I will say this like all the other reviews, the Clarisonic systems make you go through a purging phase and you will get it, but I cannot say how bad. Some people it is extremely bad and they get acne scars, for myself it wasn't so bad and once this phase was over my skin looks a lot better. It is recommended that you do not use it on active acne because you would just be spreading the germs around your face. If you use a cleanser other than the sample that comes with it, be sure it is not abrasive i.e. apricot scrub from St. Ives or you will damage your skin. Don't pick a runny one or it will get in your eyes and the Clarisonic wont make it foam as much as you are used to.

I'm currently very happy with my product, if I think of anything else to add I will update this review. Or if anyone has more questions feel free to ask and I will update.

Unfortunately I had to return this because it didn't work. I think that is unusual for the product. The return was hassle free, typical for Amazon. I purchased another at Macy's. They had a limited range of colors so I ended up with pink. The machine works great and my skin looks good. I recommend.

I used to use this product as a teenager and didn't even realize they still made it. I read that it's beneficial for 40+ year old skin and ordered it. I love the refreshing smell of the eucalyptus and love that you can use it dry or wet. My pre-teen daughter now uses it and swears it makes her skin so silky soft and glowy. The only down side would be that you can't wash off eye makeup with this or else it will BURN!

I have used dozens of cleansers over the years. I can't use the "acne" cleansers with salicylic acid because they make me break out, and find that a lot of cleansers are too drying. No cleanser can compare to Noxzema though. It does not dry my skin out, and makes my skin smooth and completely blemish free. I am done trying different cleansers because I think I have found the best!

To start off with I suffer from acne. I read the reviews on this product and good things were said about this product so I thought, 'why not? I'll give it a try.' Like many other reviews, I remember having this in the house awhile ago. I have pretty oily skin, but it's also flaky. When I saw this at my local Safeway for $5, I thought "Huh, it's cheaper than my usual Neutrogena stuff, so why not give it a try?" The smell is just as I remember it, cool, fresh, minty. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser - 150ml/5oz

This wash is fine but not great. I don't notice a difference in my skin compared to when I use the drugstore brands. It is completely odor free (no perfume type smell ) which I like.

I love this cleanser because of how gentle it is. I have skin that is both acne-prone and very sensitive, so most acne products just irritate my skin more. This cleanser is not labeled for acne-prone skin, but I love it because it doesn't have sulfates or parabens, or any of the other chemicals that most cleansers have that irritate my skin. The cucumber and aloe are very soothing and I've noticed actually help to diminish inflammation and redness. And it's affordable. I've used other gentle products that I've liked, but they were very expensive. I think this product is wonderful and a great value.

I got this cleanser because my normal night cleanser (the Yes to Carrots one) is too big to travel with. This cucumber cleanser is nice, and does an especially wonderful job of removing my eye makeup, but I wouldn't use it regularly, since it leaves my skin feeling a bit dry.
