First use it made my hair feel heavy, but after about 3-4 uses my hair began to love it. It helps to use a fair amount of water to work it through. Massage it in, let It soak while you shower. Rinse VERY well. It's a one step hair cleaning/conditioning which sounds like it ought to save you time, but you really got rinse this stuff.
My hair shiny, silky, and no where near as knotty. It's nice to occasionally use a gentle clarifying shampoo to deep clean. I recommend this. After trying many different "cleansing conditioners", I have finally found one that I will be sticking with! I first used WEN, and really loved it, but at $30-$60 a bottle, I couldn't afford to keep using it. I give Renpure only 4 stars because it doesnt completely detangle my hair, so I use it as a "shampoo" and then follow up with my normal conditioner. My hair is fine, and Renpure gives my hair some texture and body, so much so that I can actually skip a day in between washings. Thanks Renpure!

This is a great alternative to Wen if you have pretty healthy hair. I actually used it last night (I use Wen Fig normally) just to be able to give you an honest review. I was impressed that it actually wasn't bad! I have damaged hair, so I need to stick to the more moisturizing Wen Fig. If the price tag of Wen shocks the crap out of you, then try this. You won't be disappointed. If you have really dry damaged hair, leave some in on your ends for extra moisture. I am giving my bottle to my fiance, he will love it. Hope this helps!Licensed Beauty Pro

I have a lot of chemical damage to my hair from coloring. I recently decided to do an at home highlighting kit and destroyed my hair. I had to get 5 inches of it cut off and still had rubbery, stringy, sticky hair. I woke up one very early morning to the television still on, and an infomercial for 'Wen'. No longer using detergents and sulfates on my damaged dry hair sounded great, the price of the product made my stomach hurt. So I decided to look online for a cheaper price or a comparable product for less. I bought this and 2 days later when it arrived at my house I used it immediately. That morning I had needed 5 products to end up with frizzy dry hair. After using this all I did was blow dry and flat iron with some smoothing cream and my hair was SLICK AS SNOT! My hair doesn't break off, fall out or snap in the shower. It doesn't come out in my brushes and combs anymore. It feels amazing, isn't sticky and looks smooth and shiny. Its also lightweight, not greasy, not dry and drys faster as well as flat irons more quickly. My hair is FAR more manageable! I'm very VERY happy with my purchase and will continue to use this product for a long time!Want Renpure Solutions Ren Cleansing Conditioner, Rosemary Mint, 16 Fluid Ounce Discount?
I really wanted to love this product. I have fine hair, and a medium amount of it, that tends to the oily side. I typically wash my hair every day to avoid buildup, and was hoping to find a product that would be gentle to my hair as I grew it out (if I could reduce the amount of washes, bonus). The first time I used this, I absolutely hated it. It definitely takes some effort to work it into your hair, and then even more effort to rinse it out. I spent more time on my hair with one product than I usually do with two. I'd read other reviews that warned to rinse really, REALLY well, and thought I had. It still felt waxy when I got out of the shower, and after blow drying my hair was a ball of grease. My hair was dirtier than before I washed it. I tried to apply a dry shampoo to mask such buildup, and ended up just having to pull my hair in a ponytail for work. So disappointed.
I didn't want to write a negative review without giving the product a fair chance, so after a day of regular shampooing/conditioning (which felt amazing after a day on Ren), I tried Ren again. I made sure to follow instructions to the letter, spent a good 5 minutes trying to rinse my hair, and decided not to blow dry to see if that had contributed to the unsatisfactory results any. I am almost surprised that it was just as bad. Gave Ren to my fiance to have him try it, thinking that with his shorter hair it may work better, and rinse out easier. (He has short, thick, curly hair.) He was equally disappointed and said that he really hated the waxy feeling, even when his hair had dried, and that it felt heavy and dirty.
At this price, I wouldn't say you shouldn't try it, especially as an alternative to (expensive!) Wen. Just know that if you have hair types similar to ours, it may not work for you. If you'd like volume and lift (or clean hair...) you may want to look elsewhere.
