What can you say about hand cream? All hand creams work a little. I've yet to hear of one that actually turns back time and gives you young, supple hands again. It smells nice and fruity. It goes on well, not greasy. It dries quickly and your skin feels less dry to the touch. But the next day you're still a dried up old woman who needs lotion. So since the end result is always the same, the price becomes the issue. This is a little pricey, but I've seen hand creams that were way more expensive. This particular brand has no paraben, mineral oil, synthetic dye or "SLS" whatever that is. If that's important to you, then you'll be pleased with this product. The ingredients are avocado extract, olive oil, shea butter, and aloe. I do kind of like it, so after writing this review and rubbing more of it on, I went back and gave it another star.

Placente Moisturizer Cream Gold (8 oz)

My boyfriend got this product for my mom to try. She said it worked well, so I used it because I have dry hands and skin. One application and I was sold! The cream left my hands and face feeling smooth and revitalized. It has placenta extract in it, so it's supposed to heal the skin. It's working very well for me. The wrinkles under my eyes are less noticeable, and my skin is so soft and smooth. They also have Placente Moisturizer Cream Regular (8 oz) and Placente Gold Essence Cream (8 oz). The regular cream is less potent, but just as good especially for younger women, while the Gold Essence is more potent and made for post menopausal women. Give it a shot. I did, and I don't regret it at all!

Sibu Beauty Cleanse & Detox Sea Bar Facial Soap

I bought both the Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn Nourishing Bath Bar, and the Sibu Cleanse & Detox soap. By far, I prefer the Aubrey. So if you are considering both of them because of the Sea Buckthorn in them, I really recommend the Aubrey. It leaves you feeling cleaner, it seems to work better, and it smells/feels better too!

That being said, the Sibu bar is also a nice bar of soap. The smell is okay, it's not that great, but it does lather nice! I've used it on my face and it works wonderfully and doesn't dry out my skin any more than any facial soap. That's great!

I bought this soap because of the sea buckthorn in it... I was looking for something to help with my psoriasis on my arms/body (the little bumps), and so I am going through a sea buckthorn detox to kill off some mites. Whether it works for that or not, I don't know, only time will tell, so far it seems to be slowly clearing up my skin... but we will see!

OK, I have not tried Aubrey, like the other reviewer, perhaps I shall.

SEE, FOLKS, the reason it works GREAT for some, and NOT AT ALL for others, is Sea Buckthorn Oil is for killing the demodex mite. Check'em out on YouTube if you like disgusting. Or buy a microscope, pull a hair, or scrape some of the sebum off your nose, and look. They are microscopic and live in the hair of many many people (by the age of 90, 100% of people.) There is a type that specializes in the facial hair and sebum, but in general, this is the mite that lives in your hair, and ultimately causes ALL HAIR LOSS (they think maybe. This was discovered recently by the inventers of Minoxidil.

symptoms of demodex mite: acne. rosacea. eczema. big blue nose. hair loss. itchy where eggs laid under skin. psoriasis. arthritis? bad eyesight? (anecdotal evidence). I have been tormented by bugs that felt like scabies on sedatives. Like chiggers. I use this soap to wash my hair. I also saturate my hair in the oil and put a bag on my head and leave it from 10 minutes to all night(the better to kill every one that hatches). I am going to do this 90 days, which I read is the females life span. I wash clothes with Tea Tree Oil (another great anti itch oil when mixed with a lotion aaahhh...it kills mites also) Allegedly these mites also dislike LAVENDER oil...I mix lavender or tea tree oil with vodka and spray it on furniture and carpets and bedding (careful, it can bleach...). I sleep with mite coverings on mattress and pillows.

Now, Perhaps SBT is also great for beauty and acne and all that, but for me it has killed bugs, and gotten rid of a bleeding problem in my arms. Others say it helps arthritis, eyes, and many things as these mites may...or may not...enter into the body and do things there. Unfortunately, doctors seem to be behind in this research, and the public is doing it on the internet. Check out Blue Sage Naturals for lots of sea buckthorn products, or buy in bulk from Amazon by way of Russia! Oh, and do not use this brand on your eyelids in daytime or you will be VERY YELLOW--I use SIBU oil for my eyelids and brows.

I suffer from mild acne, have some redness etc, and read that the buckthorn berry helps with all kinds of skin conditions including acne. I also was looking for a glow to my face that the entire treatment promises. I bought the entire regimen (soap+repair cream+sofgels+liquid supplement). I have been using the regimen for about 3 weeks now, but honestly I am not that impressed. I like the smell of the soap and it does not leave me feeling too dry, but I have not seen any real improvement in my skin, or a "glow" etc. I will probably not buy again.

I had hoped that this would be good, refreshing toner minus the harsh alcohol that is so common in most astringents. I had wanted something that would clear away makeup and oil residue without feeling I needed to wash off another cleanser-type product but also without drying and irritating my skin. Unfortunately, as refreshing as it smells from the open bottle, it left behind an odd, sticky residue that I couldn't even remove with a regular alcohol-based astringent. I had to turn back to the sink and rewash my face to get rid of the residue. I already have problem skin; I don't need a skincare product clogging my pores any more than they are on their own. Herban Essentials Cleansing Towelettes

I love these. I use all the scents: orange, lemon and mint are my favorites, though eucalyptus is great for winter. These are very refreshing for a quick hand wash any time, any place. I keep some in the fridge during the summer, where they are a quick respite coming in from the heat. In the winter, the eucalyptus over a cup of steaming tea or water is really refreshing and helps clear congestion. I especially like that the scents are derived from essential oils, not chemicals. A bit pricey, but definitely worth having on hand, especially for traveling.

I was thrilled when I found these moist towelettes. The only ingredients are water, peppermint essential oil, and tween 20 which is a non-toxic detergent. I definitely waited to buy myself a Clarisonic, approximately 2 years thinking "Well my skin isn't bad right now so could I really justify spending more than $100 on something to wash it better?" So I got the Olay system and my skin got better and continued on that way till I moved to Korea, my skin reacted badly to the recent hot summer and bad pollution that Korea experienced and I can back with clogged pores and pimples worse than I ever had in high school. So when I came back I broke down and about the Clarisonic Mia 2 in Mango.

First things first, this does not effect the functioning of this product in the slightest, but I wouldn't call the color Mango. It is a very awkward color, but that is "sadly" what attracted me to this item. On to the functioning of this product, what people read reviews for.

Design: The Clarisonic Mia 2 is very well designed, the charger is magnetic so that it quickly attaches (a vibrates to let you know it's charging) and you wont have to deal with bent prongs or the potential danger of plugging your wet/moist Mia 2 into a live current. It has an on button, and a button for adjusting the two speeds it has. This system has the feature of a pre-timed cleansing cycle of 20 seconds on your forehead (alert to change locations), 20 seconds on your T-zone + chin (alert to change locations), 10 seconds each cheek with the little alert in between, then it turns off. Now here is a warning when you push that on button this timed sequence starts immediately and then it will shut off. You cannot restart this cycle, but you can pause it so when you turn it on be in position.

The Brush: The brush head is a little bit rough feeling when you use it. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend either buying a different head preemptively because it will hurt.

Cleansing Ability: I will say this like all the other reviews, the Clarisonic systems make you go through a purging phase and you will get it, but I cannot say how bad. Some people it is extremely bad and they get acne scars, for myself it wasn't so bad and once this phase was over my skin looks a lot better. It is recommended that you do not use it on active acne because you would just be spreading the germs around your face. If you use a cleanser other than the sample that comes with it, be sure it is not abrasive i.e. apricot scrub from St. Ives or you will damage your skin. Don't pick a runny one or it will get in your eyes and the Clarisonic wont make it foam as much as you are used to.

I'm currently very happy with my product, if I think of anything else to add I will update this review. Or if anyone has more questions feel free to ask and I will update.

Unfortunately I had to return this because it didn't work. I think that is unusual for the product. The return was hassle free, typical for Amazon. I purchased another at Macy's. They had a limited range of colors so I ended up with pink. The machine works great and my skin looks good. I recommend.

If you're looking for a cleanser that won't over-dry, but will still do the job... this is the one. It might feel a little weird to apply and use at first, but that's because it's not loaded with chemicals that damage the skin by over-drying it. This exfoliator is gentle enough not to tear the skin, but rough enough to get the job done. Plus, you can feel good about using it knowing it hasn't been harming any animals!!

This is the best facial scrub I have found, regardless of your skin type. Not just a cream with some "microbeads" in it, it is, as the previous reviewer said, a paste. The jar it comes in is a little cumbersome in the shower, but no big deal. Dig a little out and rub it between some wet fingers, then smear it all over. I follow it up with a facial cleanser. It doesn't hang out on your skin, and even if you have oily skin like I do, (I believe Burt's Bees recommends it for dry skin) it leaves your face feeling good. The two pack is a great deal, since the only store I've ever known that I can just walk in and buy it at is Whole Foods. If you need a good, simple scrub, you won't be disappointed.

This is one of the best face scrubs overall and the best one offered by Burt's Bees.

It does smell like a blend of pumpkin pie spices and citrus but everyone in our family loves it!

I laughed at the reviews that said it was too pasty or hard because although the jar is small it is filled with a more concentrated paste that, when some is scooped out and mixed with a few drops of water becomes a more spreadable product AND THE DIRECTIONS TELL YOU THAT IF YOU READ THEM.

We use a small plastic spatula to scoop into the palm of the hand and mix just a few drops in to form a spreadable paste. Then we apply to the face like a mask and walk around for 10-15 minutes smelling the yummy citrus spice bouquet and then either remove with a moist wash cloth or can be done right before a shower and can be scrubed off in the shower.

Leaves skin smooth and soft and ready to soak up whatever fabulous moisturizer you have waiting!

My only beef is that I prefer products do not come in jars due to a higher cross contamination potential but due to the thick paste it probably makes more sense, but then, probably most people do not have skin care spatulas handy like we did so I bet a lot of people are dipping their germy fingers right into the jar. A small plastic scooper added to the box would be a plus.

I am a Burt Bees fan and when I saw this scrub, I wanted to try it. I'm not disappointed. It's a very thick paste that you smooth over your face. You can immediately smell the citrus and honey and you rub it on. When rinsed off, and it's easy to rinse off, it eaves your face exceptionally smooth. And my face feels that way all day.

I strongly disagree with KK's view "Karyn"'s review of this soap. Honestly, this is the best soap I have ever used in my entire life! Unlike other soaps that claim to have fragrance, this soap actually does have the aromatherapeutic oils that make it very fragrant. I remember using this soap in the shower. It smelled so good and so natural! The fragrance lingered for a few hours after the shower. It did not make my skin dry. If my skin had been dry then, I would have used skin moisturizer and not blamed it on the soap. I had always used liquid bodywash since I found it to be more user-friendly. But ever since using this soap, I have not liked the variety of liquid bodywash products available in stores as much. Using this soap for the first time has convinced me to use it more often and not use any liquid bodywash. Another plus point of this soap is that it lasts long. Using this soap in the shower feels like a true luxury! I highly recommend this product. I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars!

I tried this cucumber soap because I read that cucumber is good for dry skin, which I have. But I'm sorry to say that not only did this particular soap not help my dry skin, it actually made the condition worse. I thought maybe it was some other ingredient in the soap drying me out so I gave Lever Aloe & Cucumber bar soap a try because Aloe is touted for being so good for skin and, wow, it got rid of my dryness and my skin is turning supple. So if you're looking for something for dry skin, Aloe is the way to go.

Skin Medica Dermal Repair Samples (Pack of 12 x 0.13oz)

I started out using Dermal Repair about 5 years ago (late 20s) and haven't gone back. I have dry skin and like a thicker cream. I love what it does for the area under my eyes great at smoothing wrinkles. I've tried other products, but none keep the moisture in my skin for so long. Other reviewers don't like the smell, but I think it's pleasant.

I used to buy the regular size container for about 3 times the price of the samples; then I went back to grad school. Without a steady income I bought the samples to save money. Not as convenient, but you get the same amount of product as the full size. I even cut them open toward the end to make sure I get every drop. I know; I'm cheap.

I bought this product after a recommendation after getting a facial. I decided this was the perfect way to try it without spending a great deal of money and then discovering that I didn't like it. Although I do like it, I am not sure I will continue to use it after I am done using all the samples as I do not like the smell. I am really funny about that sort of thing and there are other products that I like that work just as well that I like the smell. So, it is stricly a preference thing on my part. I do believe any product that has Vitamin C in it is the best for skin repair and therefore give this product a good review despite the fact I won't buy it again. It made the skin under my eyes less crepey and the fine lines less visible, which is exactly what I was looking for in the product. This was not intended as an eye cream, but I did use it under my eye as well as my face. Again, I think this is a good product, but I just had an issue with the smell.

It leaves my hands feeling fresh and clean with no leftover residue, doesn't dry out my skin the way so many handsoaps do, and as a bonus leaves my hands smelling like fresh lavender for hours after using it. is truly silky smooth and luxurious to say the least. I use it on the back of my hands and noticed my skin looks and feels soft. It smells very pleasant.

I purchased this product thinking it was smell as good as all of the reviews I read said it would. It was horrible! It smelled as though it was years old, rotten and had a yucky texture. I had four people smell it thinking it was just me not liking the smell… no everyone felt very similar to what I felt and one even got sick.

Got this for my sister for one of her Christmas presents. She loves strawberry anything. I'm not a huge strawberry fan, so that's why I gave it four stars. She probably would have given it five.

Eucalyptus Body Wash 270ml

This product is much better than Molton Brown's Warming Eucalyptus Shower Gel, which I find uncomfortably warm and too strongly scented. My favorite product is the Eucalyptus shower gel, as it smells heavenly and opens my sinuses! The Thymes Eucalyptus shower gel holds its scent for years, too I recently found a very old bottle when we moved, and it still smells great and foams up as well as my new bottle!

While I love many of The Thymes fragrances (including my recent fav, Frasier Fir), the scent I have loved for years and used religiously is Eucalyptus. Also, I highly recommend the Sue Patrick store/vendor offering The Thymes products, as they have provided me with excellent customer service for both my orders to-date. Recommended.

I love this fragrance and how my house smells when I use it. I like all of those products from THymes.

My hair stylist turned me on to this product. At the salon they charge close to $35.00. A significant savings on Amazon and other sites.. Worth the money though. We live in Arizona where the water is extremely hard, and this helps cleanse and hydrate.

I am a hairdresser and have very strong hair. I have done everything to my hair to DAMAGE it. This product is FANTASTIC! Will not be without it.

Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer, 4.2 Ounce

My skin is dry and sensitive. Most moisturizers I've tried before may be great before bed but not under makeup. Or the smell turns me off no matter how nice it makes my skin feel. Finally here is a moisturizer that is light, creamy, no dyes, no perfumes, no sting and is not greasy. Add that I can put it on a few minutes before makeup and my makeup doesn't slide off my face and I have enough reasons to buy more.

I have extremely sensitive skin, with a constant lip allergy issue. This product doesn't sting or burn my skin and my lips have not broken out. My lips will break out in a rash due to products used around them, not even directly on them, so I am always on the look-out for products that don't cause any problems. This moisturizer doesn't have any appreciable scent and seems to be gentle on skin. I think it is an adequate general moisturizer, but I did not notice any "wow" results. It does not seem to be any more effective than the usual drug store products. I would recommend it for people who need light moisturizing but I don't think it is powerful enough for seriously dry skin.

I got this to alleviate my psoriasis symptoms. I get dry skin around my eyebrows and I hoped this would be a good alternative, back-up, or addition to my Goldbond lotion that I've been using for a few years now.

While it does the job, I found that the Goldbond actually works better, I had a "plateau" on this moisturizer after about 6 months in which it stopped working as well (?), so I switched back to just the Goldbond, but I still use this product now and again for touching up during the day.

People with "normal" skin would likely find it moisturizing enough for them though.

Like most such products, Replenishing Rich Moisturizer delivers a little less than it claims. It feels good on the fingers as you apply it to your face, and it feels good on your face, but as for the replenishing and nourishment it promises, well, how exactly are you supposed to tell? Maybe I'm expecting miracles, but I don't see how this product, supposedly the number one moisturizer in the U.K., is any different than most such products available.
