I was a little concerned when I opened the product because the smell is somewhat "grassy" However, after tasting it the smell goes away and the taste is very tolerable. I too am taking it as a meal replacement, usually lunch, and then a sensible dinner. I've lost about 4 pounds in the first week. I feel great and I am honestly not hungry after the shake. I think the stuff is great and I would really recommend trying it. Even if you are just trying to add some healthy foods to your diet instead of the weight loss factor. I've also ordered the reds as well to add more fruit based products to my diet.
