Pelindaba Lavender Body Wash (Shower Gel) with Organic Lavender Essential Oil

I know it's a bit expensive, but this shower gel is totally worth it. I bought the big size, and it's probably right for the price. The lavender is from a local (washington state) farm, which satisfies many of my hippie impulses, but the most important part is HOW DRATTED AMAZING this smells! Yeah, it cleans your body, but it's easy to get lost in the rich, deep, herbal, pleasant, lavender ... way better than most lavender soaps, which smell like grandma's attic or something.

It lathers nicely but not a whole lot, and it doesn't last on your skin too long after you get out of the shower, but while you're in there soaping up! OMG.

Very luxurious bath soap. So far the best I have used yet and ive used them all. Some of the others are too heavy and leave a film on your body, some of them leave you dry and itchy. This one is fantastic. It is winter so I am not sure how it will be in the summer but I am pregnant and I need all the moisturizers I can get my hands on. This one is now my FAVORITE. Highly recommended.

And surprisingly enough it came unopened and intact. I was afraid in shipment it might explode or some such thing.

I am very partial to most of Palmer's products. I've only used this body wash for about a week now, and so far, I think it does an excellent job. I would recommend this product to anyone that may be on the fence. Will probably reorder when the time comes that I need more.

I have very bad skin and I have tried a number of products without much success. This was no miraculous cure, but after using the mask my face feels and looks much better. This facial chamois is one of the best I've ever used. It is very soft on to the feel and gets the makeup off very well without having water drip everywhere. Also, cleans up great and dries varily fast!

I have very dry skin and it is thin and fragile so it cracks easily. I searched for a soap that would moisturize without leaving a slimy film feeling on my skin and help it not crack so much. I used every moisturizing soap there was to try including Johnson's Baby moisturizing soap that was recomended by a doctor. Nothing helped or felt good enough until my daughter gave me this big mega sized Blue Neutrogena Rainbath Shower and Shave body wash that she got at Costco. This is the best soap for people with dry skin from diabetic problems. It made my sore skin feel clean, soothed, soft and flexable again. it really revitalized my skin again. My cracked skin healed faster and I did not have to pile on the hand lotions as much anymore. I have used it now for well over 10 years and I just can't say enough good about it. This soap should be recomended to diabetics so they would know about it. The clean fregrance is very nice as well. I love it and have told many of my friends with similar problems to try it and they have agreed that it is fantastic the way it helps moisturize skin so well. I decide to try this cause it was blue :-) and because most other Neutrogena products I have used have been both superb and unique. I use the original Rainbath often, and it is excellent. A unique feeling and scent of "fresh clean" in a bottle and it seems like it does good things for my skin. I had hoped the blue version would add the ocean or the sky perhaps to this experience, but I was let down. In my opinion there's nothing more (nor anything less) then any other brand of shower/body wash including any old generic "S-mart" version of blue soap stuff in a bottle (and I'm sure Ash would agree with me). By all means,try it for yourself, but you really should try the orignal first so you have a bench mark. This one is a disappointment.

I had low expectations for this soap since combining a shower/shave wash is a tall order but I wanted to give it a try just in case it could deliver. I was hoping for a creamy yet soapy lather that would cling to skin to make the shaving part better. My first problem was the consistency, which was a thick gel. The lather was minimal and I found I had to use quite a bit of soap. As far as shaving, it was completely useless, being just barely better than water alone. The second issue is the smell. I believe Neutrogena was going for a marine scent, but missed terribly as it ended up smelling very synthetic--not fresh or clean in any way. Even for a shower gel alone, this would not be a product I would consider buying again. I use about 9 pumps per shower which is making going through a bottle very quick, but considering my review, I guess that's a good thing.

Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System 0.68 Fl Oz

I know you are wondering if a $28 item can compare at all to something that cost nearly ten times the price. The answer is YES! I have the Clarisonic Pro which is the top of the line for their model, so before you spend the money on both, I'll do a side by side comparison for you. Mind you, I am VERY happy with my Clairsonic. Even knowing that this I am happy I made the purchase for both of them, since they are fairly different. Here's why:

Size: The Olay Pro-X is about half the size of the Clarisonic. This is actually better in many ways. It is easier to hold, lightweight, it fits in my shower caddy easily without dropping, you can travel with it very easily. I think this is my favorite part about the differences. It also makes the brush head much smaller, which has a different effect. Of course, the motor is at least half the size as well, and this effects how this feels. I can't actually say it is better or worse than the Clarisonic, it's just different. It is like getting a Sweedish massage (Olay) as opposed to a deep tissue massage (Clarisonic).

Cleansing Products: The Olay cleansing formula has tiny granules and is exfoliating. The Clarisonic cleansers are gels and the specifically say that you cannot use exfoliating cleansers with granules on theirs most likely because the motor is stronger and it will scratch your skin. I really liked the way my skin felt after using the Olay product. I felt sparkling clean and my skin was shining.

Versatility: This is where I love my Clarisonic more. Since I bought the pro, I can use it on my body, and have different size brush heads and change the timing. Is it worth 10x more the price? Not necessarily. The Olay Pro-X has two speeds, you don't really need more than that. But I do love having the option of using the full body brush on the Clarisonic. Also, there is slightly more control with the Clarisonic since it is sturdier, the ProX does slide a bit, though not excessively so. You can still maintain some control with the Por-X though not as much.

Charging: The Pro-X uses two double-A batteries that it comes with. It was a bear to take the battery case off, but once I did it was fine, and it doesn't need recharging that often. I use the best batteries in the world, eneloopSanyo Eneloop 8 Pack AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteriesand I'm good to go for several weeks. The Clarisonic has a charging holder that you plug into the wall, you don't need to change the batteries, but you do need to find a place in your home to park it for an hour or so every week. I prefer having the double A rechargeable option of the Olay. It also makes it so much easier to travel with.

Please note: It is not that easy to figure out how to install the batteries, and there are no instructions. You might not want to pull open the wrong part of your product for fear of breaking it. I had to call the company to figure it out, and I've had a couple of people email me to ask me, so here goes: Hold the product with your right hand by the top/sides of the handle with the brush head facing down. Keep holding firmly with your right hand, while with your left you pull the handle away from you. The top part of the handle comes off to load the batteries.

The bottom line: I think the Olay Pro-X is a steal. If you are on the fence about which to buy this or the Clarisonic, and you only need it for your face and not your body, you will probably be better off saving your money and going with this! Personally, I am glad I have both. This is definitely worth the investment!

I was looking for something like this but I didn't want to spend $200 on the other brand when I wasn't sure it would work. For $30 I can take a bit of a chance. I have been using this brush since Christmas Eve and I am amazed at how much better my skin looks. At 56, zits and clogged pores that just dodn't want to go away are pretty much on the mend. Imbedded black heads have disappeared. I wouldn't use this more than once a day because it tends to dry out my skin. Hydrate after you use this. In short, I'm really glad I bought this cleaning system. A little instruction about how often to change the brush head would be nice, but I can live without it.

I am mid 20s and have very congested but dry/sensitive skin. No matter how many face cleansers I would use, I would get out of the shower and still my face would have make up and not feel or look clean. I became more and more interested in the clarisonic mia brush (the cheapest model) but that week I saw an ad for this Olay brush. WOW. my skin has not felt so smooth before in my life. my skin is still problematic but I do not experience the awful flakiness that perpetuated my problem skin! when i use my witch hazel toner, there is NO make up or grime in my cotton cosmetic pad. If you want a deap clean, this is for you. I was surprised the brushes are not crazy expensive, but there is no detail on how often they suggest you to replace them. I'll use my own judgement on that. Love that I can leave this in the shower and not worry about it possibly getting wet or having any place where I need to plug it in. Great value if you think about the amount we ladies spend on face products. I love the sample cleanser in the box, a little goes a long way. I may think about purchasing that when it is empty.

I am a regular user of the CLARISONIC Skin Care System 1 ea, so I may be a little biased, but the people who think this is comparable may not have used the other brush.

If you are comparing in cost, it is about 20% comparable for about 15% of the cost.

The motion of the brush head is differentthis one rotates and the Clarisonic uses a sonic pulse.

You have to replace the brush heads in both, and the Olay ones are about half the price of the Clarisonic.

With this brush, it seems easy to tear my face up, and with the Clarisonic it seems nearly impossible. I can use my Clarisonic brush on a daily basis, but I don't feel comfortable using this one more than a few times a week if I was using it regularly.

I also found it surprising that they recommend you use it (it actually comes with it) with an abrasive face wash, when my Clarisonic specifically tells you NOT to use it with abrasive cleansers. I'm kind of cringing at the idea of gradually tearing my face up with the abrasive cleanser and the brush.. not a pretty picture! I guess if you don't have sensitive skin and really need some serious exfoliation its OK??

WaterproofingIt has a gasket on the inside that makes it hard to replace the batteries, and over repeated battery replacements you would kill the gasket. The more expensive brand uses inductance to recharge, so it will never get water on the inside. I think this gasket would probably last you a year if you use the brush on a daily basis and replace the batteries regularly. I've been using my other brush for 2 years. Also, I feel I need to mention it was pretty tough for me to figure out how to replace the batteries. They have about a sentence on it, and it doesn't do justice to what a pain it really is, which is why I think this little gasket will actually wear out from the pressure fit.

I Actually think this brush is better to use on my body than my face because its pretty abrasive compared to my Clarisonic. I'm planning to keep it just for that.

All in all, I think you get what you pay for. If you are willing to make an investment and think a brush for your face is something worth springing for, go for the more expensive brand.

I am a forty-seven-year-old male who has always had raunchy, combination skin, i.e., too oily on my forehead and too dry around my nose, mouth and cheekbones. My cleansing regiment has always consisted of briefly washing my face with a light amount of Neutrogena Original Formula Facial Cleansing Bar and dabbing Clearasil Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream on extremely oily surfaces which tend to break out with pimples and blackheads. I never use a washcloth, which tends to damage my skin, drying it out and making it look worse than it actually is. When I take a bath or shower, I use the Olay Body Ultra Moisture Facial and Bath Bar. It moisturizes and hydrates my skin (and doesn`t leave a filmy ring around my bathtub). With this regiment, I manage to keep my complexion looking fairly decent.

I was skeptical when first introduced to the Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. How could something so dainty and easy to use have a significant effect on my skin? Men naturally exfoliate their skin when they shave; however, unless they are extremely hairy, men only shave once in the morning and they never shave their foreheads, noses and lips. (We do pluck a lot of hair out of our nostrils.) I was extremely curious to learn if the Olay Cleansing System would improve my complexion.

The Olay Cleansing System (see my posted photographs) came with one light-weight, easy-to-grip handle; one brush head; a tiny sample tube of exfoliating renewal cleanser (0.68 ounces); and two AA batteries. Instructions for installing the brush head and the AA batteries are on the side of the box. The brush head is easy to install by simply pressing it on; it automatically locks in place. The batteries, however, were difficult; they tried my patience. The plastic storage compartment for the batteries is tricky to remove because it is watertight. After all, the Olay Cleansing System can be used in the shower.

I have continued my normal cleansing regiment with the Neutrogena bar and the Clearasil cream. In addition to this, I now use the Olay Cleansing System. In the mornings, I use it before I shave or, if I forget, immediately after I shave. I haven't noticed a difference when I use it. The exfoliating renewal cleanser doesn't dry out my skin. I also wash my face and use the Olay Cleansing System before going to bed. Sometimes, after I've come home from work, and I want to feel clean and refreshed before going to a social engagement, I will wash my face and use the Olay Cleansing System.

The instructions for using the Olay Cleansing System are located on the back of the box. There is the on/off button and the two-speed button. I always use the fastest speed because it gives me a comfortable massage. However, I resist temptation and never massage my face for more than sixty seconds as explained in the instructions. However, I use the Olay Cleansing System on my neck, chest and shoulders wherever there is exposed skin that someone might see.

I never use the Olay Cleansing System in the shower for fear that the rotating brush might strike one of my eyes or get tangled in my hair. (I am not very coordinated and am prone to accidents.) It is much easier for me to look at myself in the mirror when I use it. However, it is nice to know that the handle with the enclosed power source is waterproof; it alleviates the fear of becoming electrocuted.

Because its bristles are soft, I can use the brush on delicate facial features such as my nose and lips. (Haven't you ever had a pimple on your lip? They can be painful.) It is recommended that the brush be replaced after three months. If used sparingly, the trial-size sample of exfoliating renewal cleanser should last a month. At the end of this time, the consumer should know if this product is right for him/her. According to the box, Olay promises to refund the customer's money if he/she isn't satisfied.

Printed instructions are not included in the box. However, if the consumer doesn't wish to keep the box, he/she can do like me and photograph its various sides, using a digital camera, and download the photographs to his/her PC's hard drive or to a portable hard drive. The box can also be taken apart, flattened and the sides scanned into a PC.

After faithful, continuous usage of this product for over two weeks, I was excited to notice a significant difference in my complexion. It had greatly improved. My skin actually felt softer and smoother. It was more toned and consistent, meaning that I had one type of complexion over my entire face in lieu of two or three types. Indeed, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that exfoliation is essential for clean, healthy skin.

If you have skin that is difficult to manage, like I do, then I highly recommend trying the Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. Clean, healthy skin is priceless. Having clean, healthy skin makes you feel more confident about yourself even if no one else notices the difference. In my opinion, buying a new cleansing system, in hopes that it may improve the quality of your skin, is money well spent. As for me, I plan on buying more of the Olay Pro-X Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser. Because it is so lightweight and compact, I plan on taking the entire Olay Cleansing System with me whenever I visit my parents for the holidays.

Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser

I've tried a lot of facial cleaners over the years, but this is the absolute best! (I would suggest buying direct from Mario Badescu's website or Ulta it's only $15 there.)

A few months back, I had an extremely stressful three weeks and my skin broke out worse than it had in a really, really long time. None of my usual products were working, so I decided to stop in to Ulta and ask one of the employees there if she could suggest an inexpensive, yet effective product to help clear up my skin and get rid of the acne. Within two days, my skin was visibly clearer and within a week my face was completely cleared up! I've been using it once a day since then and my skin looks fantastic. 6 oz may not seem like a lot, but I've been using the same bottle, for almost 2 months now, and it's still 3/4 full.

i love Revaleskin since my dermatologist highly recommends the night cream. it has coffee berry extracts which is anti aging. upon using this product i noticed that it doeesnt foam up unlike other facial cleansers i have tried like SKII or Chanel which i am currently using. there's also a problem with the pumponce you push the nozzle twice or thrice, it doesnt return to its original position... must be some factory defect :(

I have VERY acne prone sensitive skin. I have looked for years and years and even gone to dermotologist to try and find SOMETHING that works without breaking my skin out like crazy. Ive tried almost ever product on the market.. and even some prescription meds.. and NOTHING has worked. I tried this one after about two years of looking and being depressed. It was just incredible. To my surprise, it even contains a very small amount of scrubbing beads that sluff off those flakes and keep my pores clean. Enough to keep my skin in good condition but without drying my up my face. My skin never itches either. My skin feels soft, fresh and flexible; not tight like some cleansers leave it feeling. I love it and I hope they continue to market this product as long as I continue to live.

I could not find this product as Target and CVS, Walgreens didnt sell it anymore. I was so distraught and I found it online. I noticed the difference almost immediately when I started using it again. I'm not one to write reviews normally, but I just love this Visibly Even line so much. I have combination skin, an oily T-zone, with dry skin around my mouth, and I break out a lot around my jawline (hormonal). I've tried Pro-Active, Mary Kay, Clinique, etc etc. They usually work for a few weeks, then stop all-together. I forgot to pack the Mary Kay cleanser (I was trying at the time) on a trip a few months back and went to Target obviously they don't sell that. So, I was forced to look around for something else. I'm 25 and already have an extremely uneven skin tone mostly from sun damage (tanning DON'T DO IT!) and dark spots from pimples that have never healed (mostly b/c my skin was so damaged/unhealthy).

I've been using this about a month now and have seen significant results. It's by no means "a miracle cure" at least not yet. The longer you use it, the better your skin becomes. My face is a lot more radiant. I'm not having breakouts (aside from my monthly, hormonal ones that can't be avoided). And the pimples I do get, have been going away quickly without much redness/notice.

I just ran out of my Jergen's SPF 20 moisturizer and bought the Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer today. It has SPF 30, which is fantastic for me, since I'm so paranoid about further sun damage. The moisturizer is supposed to significantly improve the dark spots between 4 8 weeks. I'll write a review on that after I've tried it out for a while.

I'm moving to SKorea in the fall and will be buying these products sporadically until then, in order to have a stash to take with me. I'm always so afraid the products I like and that work for me will be discontinued... because they usually are. I sincerely hope that Neutrogena continues manufacturing this line. I LOVE IT.

I think the other negative reviews just go to show how different people's skin types are. I in no way believe this product will work "for everyone". But I definitely think it's worth a try and I'm by nature a pessimist, so I think that's saying quite a lot. GOOD LUCK ALL. I know how difficult it is to tame your skin such a headache.

After reading a couple of self-help books that encouraged the readers to be both mindful and grateful, I decided to use my imagination and search for a gift that my wife would appreciate.

While searching the internet and viewing reviews on amazon.com, I came across, L'Occitane Savon Extra-Doux Verveine, (Verbena Soap, Extra Gentle), 8.8-Ounce Bar by L'Occitane.

I was curious to know why anyone would pay $10 for a bar of soap. I noticed that a number of people did though and gave the highest rating available to the product. As I thought about it, I compared it in price to other gifts like flowers, candy or a bottle of fine wine and realized that the price of this product is in line with other special gifts that we give to people just because we love them.

The paper wrapping, size and clean refreshing lemon fragrance were promising. My wife seemed genuinely surprised that I would order a French extra-gentle soap for her and appreciated the thought that I put into this unusual gift.

She has sensitive and sometimes dry skin and said that the ingredients are wonderful. She thinks that it is probably the Shea butter that makes this product so creamy, smooth and relaxing. The product has a lemon rather than a medicinal fragrance; however, it has an emollient quality to it too.

The hard milled look reminds me of that "made to last" soap my neighbors used to make in Oregon when I was a child, but lathers much better.

Although we have hard water in Springfield, Illinois, this herbaceous pure vegetable soap does not leave a film, but makes the skin feel soft and hydrated.

Lemon is one of my wife's favorite fragrances; however, she said she is anxious to learn what other ones are available.

My wife convinced me to try the soap assuring me that it would not make me smell effeminate. She was right! It did not leave a fragrance, but made my skin feel great.

This is the only soap the sensitive skin in this household will allow on its collective skin. And it's been so for several years. The fragrance is pleasant, but is really only for the shower or bath, as it doesn't last past towelling. It's not drying like other 'pure soaps', although I wouldn't try carrying on with the day without some sort of body lotion.

When I got it first, I was excited and used it on dry skin. It did not work!

Then, as per youtube instructions i "steamed" my face for 15 minutes over a pan of boiling water and a towel over my head. Then I used the tool. This worked okay, but it was a hassle and not as effective. I was like.... meh...

Then one day it struck me that after my 30 minute cardio workouts, my body temperature stays higher than normal for at least another hour, and that the skin on my face gets moist from all the sweat coming out of my pores. So I USED THE TOOL RIGHT AFTER MY WORKOUT. And it got rid of ALL my black/white heads. Even though sweat comes out of different pores than sebum, I think the moisture coming out of my skin is better than steam at wetting sebum in my clogged pores. Also, I continue to sweat for atleast another 15-20 minutes after I am done with my workout, so that gives me enough time to get rid of the gunk on my face.

I "scrape" my skin with the side of the flat loop, almost like I'm shaving. On my nose, chin, and sometimes cheeks, I use downward strokes. On my forehead, I go sideways, starting from the middle (the direction of my eyebrows). My skin will get red after use, but once I'm done showering, all the redness goes away, and then I moisturize my face.

I do this twice a week because that's how often I do cardio. Some people might say "this is too damaging for your skin". Well its not for my skin, and that is all I can say about that. This tool is cheaper than those strips, and it is to "pore gunk" what tweezers are to hair.

I don't get a ton of blemishes, but when I do I can't resist the urge to pop the little buggers. My girlfriend pointed out one of these types of tools in CVS one day, but being the Amazon-addict that I am, I waited until I got home to order one online.

This is a very well constructed piece of "equipment" and serves its purpose admirably. It does an EXCELLENT job of extracting white heads and black heads. One end is used for white heads and really gets all the gunk out, the other is used for black heads/clogged pours. This requires a bit more work, but still does a great job. Best of all, it doesn't leave my skin agitated and puffy like my fingernails do.

If you get the occasional blemish, get one of these. They are cheap, easy to use, and effective.

I just got mine yesterday and my skin feels seriously so much better! I'm 22 ad I've been suffering from acne over half of my life. I've been to so many different dermatologists, paid for so many visits and prescriptions, and have had so many allergic reactions. PS. To the person that said using this tool hurt them: I don't think you should press so hard that it hurts. You should probably only be targeting those pimples that are ready to pop. You can tell because they are white at the top and the skin has thinned. So for those that have those deep, under skin postular acne, I don't this will be effective for you.

First time using this and I Love this thing!!! When It arrived it was in a little blue bag,and it was smaller than I expected but it was perfect for gripping. It didnt come with directions but I knew how to use it by doing some research so not a big deal. I first sanitized it and washed my face and it started to remove my small black/white heads with a breeze, then I began to use it on bigger ones and man IT HURT!!! it was very painful the first time using but it got the job done, the more you use it the less painful it gets. After I washed and sanitized it and put it back in its case, and I rewashed my face because my face was irritated and I did my normal face routine after. The next day I was shocked on how clear my face looked, (I have oily, senitive skin)it didnt leave any marks like my fingers would and it really got most of the black/whites heads out. However I mainly use the small loop for most extractions since the big loop cant take care of the small pimples but its sometimes good for larger ones but I use the small loop for big ones also (especially when I need them to pop ;) lol). I recently discovered this product randomly and I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before. It's hard to believe how well it works and for the price it's an absolute steal. I used it right after taking a hot shower to open my pores and that definitely did the trick. It gets a lot out and afterwards my pores appear visibly smaller. Neutrogena Wave Sonic Power Cleanser with 14 Foaming Pads

I've been taking care of my face diligently for the past few years and have gone through several types of cleansers. This was my first time trying any kind of electrical solution, and while all-in-all I prefer plain ol' cleanser and water, I found the Sonic Cleanser fun to use. (By the way, 'sonic' has nothing to do with sound as far as I can tell, it's more of a catch-word. The device just spins, at 2 speeds.)

Pros:

Feels nice, like a mini massage.

Easy to use: stick on the pad, run under the water, start it spinning, move over the face. When finished, remove the pad and throw it away, rinse the face.

Waterproof, you can stick the whole thing under running water and not worry about it.

The price of the main part is pretty good.

Cons:

14 pads won't last you long, you will definitely need replacement pads. It looks like basic replacement pads are 30 for about $5. That's not too bad, just a bit more expensive per use compared with face cleanser + a towel (+ cotton rounds + witch hazel). You may want to wash your face twice a day, but I recommend using this just once a day. (This point isn't so much of a con as something you will want to consider.)

The pads have a lot of soap on them, way more than the face needs, and it feels like a waste. I use the rest up on my hands.

Even on the lower setting, it's rough on sores, and scrapes off the healing skin.

The pads catch on my hair, the hair then gets caught in the spinning part.

The instructions could be better, i.e. they don't tell you how often to use it, how hard to press, or how fast to move it across your face to get the best results.

To cover some other issues I've seen in other reviews: Yes, it cleans my face. No, it doesn't leave pieces of pad behind. If I turn the device on and shake it off before using it (after rinsing) it doesn't drip down my face. After rinsing and applying moisturizer (Gold Bond Ultimate lotion) my face did not feel dry. The scent was not strong for me. I had no problems cleaning all areas of my face and neck.

I have tried just 1 other type of cleaning pad and I found this option more practical. I don't wear makeup typically so I can't say anything about how this works with removal.

Overall, I like using the Sonic Power Cleanser occasionally, but it's not something I really need or will invest much in. The cost of the replacement pads will add up, and it's just one more thing to store in my bathroom. You have to ask yourself, do I really need this?

The ease-of-use and relatively inexpensive price (of the initial package) make it a fun thing to try out and a good gift idea.

My first wave was the original which I loved because it made my skin feel so clean and fresh when I used it with the blemish pads. My wave broke and I went out and bought this one to try it. I was very disappointed. This one cost me even more than the original...even with a coupon. In my opinion, the spinning plate didn't have much power in it. It didn't give my face that fresh feeling. It cleaned my face well, but I may as well just use a scrub. Nothing special for my face. Unfortunately I will be returning it.

I'm a 34 year-old man who is not ashamed to use Neutrogena products. Even ones that are pink and look kind of like epilators, as long as they work. And I'm no stranger to a decent product to keep breakouts away.

That all being said, the Wave Sonic is kind of an odd duck. I was expecting more of a pulsating motion, but the pads spin. And they spin pretty fast on the low setting, and ridiculously fast on the high setting. It almost feels like this was developed for the laziest people on Earth, rather than serving a useful purpose that can't be accomplished with a plain Neutrogena cleansing pad in the shower.

If you're a guy, you'll need to take special care when using the Wave Sonic. If you have even the slightest bit of facial hair, the pads get torn up almost immediately, and leave a cottony mess. And by "slightest bit", I'm not taking about five o'clock shadow. I mean "you'd better use this almost immediately after shaving.

Other than that though, even the replacement pads are fairly cheap, and if you're getting them here on Subscribe & Save, they're even cheaper. I was really surprised to see that they cost less than the old-fashioned "use it in your hands" Neutrogena 2-In-1 Foaming Pads that I normally use.

I got one of these for my wife, but decided to give it a try too so I could write a review. I have skin too, so hey, why not right? So, here's my experience with this Wave Sonic Power Cleanser:

First of all, the foaming pads stick on easily, and the device is super-easy to use. There's an on/off button, and a button to turn it to a higher speed. That's it. Throw some warm water on your face, stick a pad on the device, and scrub away. Easy-peasy.

It feels nice. You know the difference between brushing your teeth with a regular toothbrush versus using an automatic toothbrush like a SoniCare? It's the same thing, but for washing your face. The pad vibrates gently as you move it over your face. It's a little abrasive so it scrubs at the same time. It's basically like washing your face with a tiny, slightly rough, soaped up vibrating washcloth. For guys, I think this would be best to use right after shaving.

In terms of design, the device has an easy grip and is easy to use. My wife mentioned that she wishes it came with some sort of holder or stand for when you're not using it. Right now you just have to kinda sit it on the edge of the sink or the tub, which she's not wild about. A simple stand or holder would have been a definite plus.

The pads are disposable. That's good and bad. Good you don't have to wash them out. Bad you're on the hook to keep buying new ones. They're not super expensive, but it's still an ongoing expense, if you care about that sort of thing.

All in all, I like this thing. I really just got it for my wife and wanted to use this once to write the review, but I could see myself grabbing it once in a while. The only features I'm not wild about are the lack of a stand or holder, and the fact that you have to keep buying pads. Aside from those, I love it and so does my wife!

I used this all last summer, morning and night, and it made my skin very nearly perfect.

I don't recommend using the Neutrogena pads, though. They work okay, but I got much better results using my Aveeno Skin Brightening Scrub. CVS makes plain pads that fit the Neutrogena Wave--they should be right next to the Neutrogena pads on the shelf. I'm sure any thick cotton rounds would work.

I sadly left mine at home when I went back to school and my skin got horrible again in a month. But I just got a new one and I can't wait for my skin to be all nice again!

When I purchased this brush I think it was $6, I definitely wouldn't spend $9 for it. It was shedding bristles as soon as I opened it. After awhile the bristles in the middle are smushed down completely.

The bristles are too long and not packed tight enough for you to evenly exfoliate your face, you'll wind up pressing hard to get it to work (which it won't) and then one odd bristle that stays up will scratch you.

I bought this brush because I heard if you wash and exfoliate with a brush it will help with black heads, etc. Although I do notice the difference in how clean my face feels, it is an ongoing process to repair what has been going on for years. But I love the wooden handle. I picked this one because I heard some complaints from customers that bought the plastic one saying it cracks in the shower. But this little guy is sturdy. Fits right in your hand very comfortably. The bristles are not soft or hard, there somewhere in the middle so you really get a good cleanse and get off all the excess dry skin, etc. After this whole time which has been about a month only one bristle has fallen out but that is too be expected. I bought this BB cream because I don't like to put too much heavy makeup on my face. Most of the time I'd just use moisturizer, eyeshadow, and lip gloss or nude lipstick. I was hesitant to buy this because most of the reviews I watch on YOUTUBE said that it made their skin oily but I could actually wear it all day and do not get oily. I like it for the most part although for me it doesn't really moisturize my skin too well. The skin around my lips and chin is kind of dry but then again maybe it's just winter. Well first let me say wow! My sister actually bought this and I used it and now I'm going to buy my own! I actually went and bought an expensive BB cream by skin79 and was so disappointed, it made me so white and went on cakey! After that I was pretty hesitant to try the 'cheap' version how could it be any better? So I was definitely surprised when I liked it so much. It went on sooo nice I used a sponge not cakey at all, nice and even. Not patchy in the dry areas. Not orange or anything, I have the 'medium/deep' color. Matched me so good! But I definitely don't have perfect skin, I just had a bad break out that left me with some icky spots and those little zits that are so annoying. This definitely covered those up enough that I felt good about my skin but didn't feel like I had this heavy layer on. I let it dry then apply some powder on top after about 20 minutes. Perfect. My skin looks nice and pretty. I actually think it stands up pretty good, I have fairly oily skin on my forehead that I always have to worry about so I did a 'test' and waited 6 hours to see how oily it got. Not very much! I just had a tiny little bit. I definitely think using a makeup sponge helps so much in applying it if your getting oily and your just using your hands or a makeup brush use a sponge instead! I've been using it about a week and i haven't broken out, my skin is extremely sensitive so I would've known very quickly if it was going to. And I will say my skin does actually look better! I definately update if it breaks me out or makes a huge improvement in my skin, but right now I'm loving it and I think I found my everyday makeup!

To start off, my skin is what others call, "perfect", I rarely break out and I have very few blemishes; so makeup is only something I use to even me out a tiny bit. I don't have acne or any other skin issues other than an oily nose that gets blackheads (treated with Biore black head remover). I'm not bragging but only wanted to give a fair representation of my skin and why BB Cream make work better or worse for me than others.

I only wear makeup when I go out which is probably only 3 times a week or less. I work from home and I'm a stay-at-home mom with a very limited budget for makeup and clothes so I tend to stretch them as much as I can. Therefore, I only wear it when I need to tear myself from the computer and face the real world.

My usual foundation is Cover Girl TrueBlend liquid foundation which is simply an amazing product. But, after getting a bottle of the Garnier BB Cream I haven't had a reason to use the Cover Girl! I usually just put a layer of BB Cream then I finish it with a TrueBlend pressed powder.

The BB Cream gives me full and even coverage and doesn't make me look greasy at all. I've had to experiment with the amount to use and it may vary from person to person. It seems a little goes a long way with me. When I first got it, I applied the same amount as I do the Cover Girl and it was way too much. The BB Cream is thicker so it went on extra thick and gross before I realized I only need a small amount.

As an added bonus to the even coverage, this cream also has a very pleasant smell which is something most liquid foundations lack.

This is the perfect color for my difficult to match south asian skin however the downsides certainly outweigh the color match. This BB cream is greasy, has average coverage, but the worst part is that it does not dry on or sink in to the skin. It sits like a greasy layer on top of the skin and transfers to anything in site whether it's a tissue you blow your nose with, your hand as you brush your hair off your face, a new top that you're putting on over your head, or even the seatbelt in your car!

I travel a lot for work and picked these up at a local retailer for use when traveling. I have combination skin. When I use separate moisturizers I've noticed that they seem to irritate my eyes significantly, which makes me think that my customers/teammates think I'm on drugs. I now wash and use product only before bed. In the AM, I shower, shave, rinse and then use these. They're more than enough moisture, my pores seems smaller on my nose, my skin seems to break out less. I also use these for a little light moisture all over my body bc the cloth is wet enough for face, neck, back, elbows, knees, etc. I really do like these a lot and would gladly recommend to others, especially for men who want something super quick and easy!!
