American Crew Peppermint Cleanse

I was looking for a mint / tea tree oil shampoo that provided some sort of tingly scalp treatment. I felt nothing with this product. I'm not sure if it's the American Crew brand or if this supplier has somehow re-bottled the product OR if they're selling old shampoo. It's a huuuuge bottle for the price which leaves me wondering. Looking at even the positive December 2012 comment someone else left, it's the same issue -no tingle. Don't buy this if you're expecting a tingly minty scalp shampoo. Weak mint smell as well. I think they're selling old inventory. Anyone else have a better mint shampoo to recommend?

The size of the bottle might be a tip off here. I had a smaller bottle that I purchased a long time ago which had a very different scent to it and was the reason I sought this product out. I'm not sure if the product has been changed at all or if this supplier used something else to expand it, but I'm pretty sure it's not the same product I remember or replaced. That said, it does clean my hair well, but like others said, it is a bit on the harsh/strong side and there is no tingle. Not horrible, but would likely not buy it again. I haven't been able to find this product at any hair care places in quite a while.

I can't say that I feel any strong tingle from this shampoo but I can feel it's cleaning effects after rinsing , it also has a nice peppermint scent to it . I have tried many different shampoos' trying to get as close to a salon feel as possible and this is as close as i've come . It has a very nice cooling effect and my hair feels cleaner than ever .

The smell of peppermint is quite refreshing. However, this is not an every day use shampoo. It strips the hair and leaves it feeling quite straw-like. It is good for maybe a bi-weekly washing, but use more often then that is probably not good for your hair.
