Organique Invigorating Face Wash - 5.07 fl oz - Liquid

I bought this facewash from Whole Foods because it was labeled as a "Premium Body Care" product, which Whole Foods uses to designate products that are effective, safe, natural, and ecological (check out the Whole Foods website for more info they also have a list of more than 300 ingredients which Premium Body Care products must not contain, including fragrances, preservatives, parabems, etc).

I have combination skin, it is tight and dry immediately after washing (until I moisturize) and becomes extremely oily within a few hours. I've been using this facewash for a few days and noticed that some small blemishes on my forehead are clearing up, and that dry spots are smoother. The packaging says that it has honey which is supposed to soften your skin, but I didn't notice softer skin before applying moisturizer. This is also a great buy, price-wise. Much cheaper than Cetaphil (and MUCH safer apparently, according to ) in unit price, and especially when you consider that very little of this facewash goes a long way. You only need a pea-sized drop, and you will have a very generous lather (it takes a little practice to dispense such a small amount from this bottle, as the opening under the cap is a little big).

My only gripe is that even though the facewash does have a slight herbal scent which is pleasant and not overpowering or anything, I did not experience any invigorating sensation. Also, this formula has a teeny bit of ground apricot seed which surprised me because the packaging didn't say anything about scrubbing, but it's only a little bit so I don't really mind (though if you're up on your skincare research, you'll know that ground apricot seed tends to be jagged in shape which supposedly puts fine tears in your skin).

Overall, great facewash. Would buy again, but want to try the other formulas first (Hydrating, and the Turmeric and Neem one).

I bought this 25 pack because i really needed something to keep my baby hands clean because of teething. My little one always keeps his hands in his mouth to calm his gums. When I opened this pack there was a huge, strong perfume scent that just overwhelmed me. I used it once on my baby face and hands and the smell just stayed on him for the longest time. I thought the strong scent would die down but it didn't. The smell just ended up giving me a headache and who knows what it was doing to my little ones senses. I even tried to use a baby wipe to get the smell off his hands and face but it still stayed. It made me feel like my son just got dowsed with some cheap dollar store perfume all over his body.

This product may keep away dirt and germs but the smell of it is just too strong and harsh to use on my baby.

These are great in concept, but my 3 month old son has an allergic reaction to them. They make whatever skin I've wiped red and puffy for hours. Too harsh for babies with sensitive skin...

I love these wipes. They cleared up my LO's baby acne with a day or two. We use them when we're out and I'm not sure what he's touched. Since his hands are his favorite teething toys, I'm constantly wiping them off with these. They're not very big or wet because they're only made for baby's face and hands and they smell nice and clean.

I love this.My hair always looked frizzy and dry and now using this ,my hair looks and feels pretty good.

I got a bottle of this and at first I couldn't get used to the greasy conditioner feel of the shampoo on my hair. But after a few uses I figured out that adding more water to it worked wonders and so did the shampoo. My hair has never looked so good and so manageable... After years of infomercial impulse buying, you'd think I'd learn my lesson. I had high hopes for this product. The smell was great and I loved the tingling/cooling feeling as I let it sit on my hair the recommended amount of time. However, the problems started when I rinsed it out. I noticed right away that my hair felt coarser, especially towards the ends. Then, when drying and attempting to style, I was disappointed with how dull-looking and heavy my hair was. Over a few different tries, I varied the length of time I left it in my hair and how well I rinsed it out, but was not satisfied. As with many other products stumbled across on late-night tv, WEN promised a result that it failed to deliver. It is possible that it might work for hair types other than mine, but with my thick, shoulder-length, slightly damaged hair, it was simply a waste of money.

My hair used to be a mess. A real good friend actually gave me a bottle to try. After the first use I was hooked. When I color my hair, I use Wen after rinsing coloring. I rub gently, leave on while bathing, rinse than add a small amount to my hair, comb thru and leave in. My hair feels sooooo soft and luxurious.

My hair stylist introduced me to Eufora products and I absolutely love them even better than that I swear by them. This shampoo is my second go-to shampoo. It is not a good daily use shampoo. Despite the implication of the name (Eufora's deep conditioner is also called Urgent Repair), this is a clarifying shampoo and it meant to be used hand-in-hand with Eufora Urgent Repair Replenishing Treatment 6oz.

I use it once every 3-4 shampoos with great results on my scalp and hair. When I go crazy and add non-natural colours (such as purple or blue) to my hair, this shampoo has been a great tool to ensure the crazy colours do not stain the rest of my hair. To do this, I segment my hair so that I mostly only apply Urgent Repair to my more naturally toned hair and use a different shampoo (usually Eufora Volumizing Shampoo 10 oz) on the brighter hair. It takes some effort but is well worth the results.

As always, a little bit goes a long way and it lasts forever. It's also coloured, chemical-treated hair friendly.

SweetSpot Labs - Gentle Wash

SweetSpot cleanser seemed heaven sent. I try to be conscious of the ingredients in most products and I was confident that a cleanser designed for my sweet spot would be gentle on it (It's called a Gentle Feminine Wash). That said, I gave this product two distinct shots. It failed both times.

I used this for months and could never understand why I was having so many problems in my pants. I kept attributing it to a preexisting health condition that I have and did not connect the dots. I ran out of the sweet spot wash (I used the citrus scent) and used another cleanser for months. When I had the chance I bought another 4 oz bottle of Sweet Spot and almost immediately (within hours) after using started having a burning problem again.

This product is not hypoallergenic. I knew that going in but I figured a product someone had designed for ladybits would be for sensitive skin. I am not sure what the ingredient/s are/were that caused s burning, blistering itch, but I don't want to keep testing. I'm using the rest of it to shave my legs and haven't had an issue. I will not use it again for its intended purpose.

This is not exactly the same product as I was using, even tho the name and packaging are similar. Not sure what happened, but it is ok enough to keep and use, I will not send it back because I have opened it already. Not sure how this happened, unless the product has been on the shelf too long. My skin is very sensitive so I will have to be very careful when I use this cleanser. Too bad Elizabeth Arden discontinued it. Just not the same................

I have been using this product for about 2 months now and I really love it! My skin has really been clearing up lately and I believe part of the reason is this product (I have also started to use a couple products prescribed by my dermatologist). I usually don't write a review unless the product really WOW me and this cleanser exceeded all my expectations. I've used Shiseido Pureness and Skincare for a long time and thought I had found "the one" but I decided to give this a try since Shiseido makes great products, I felt I had nothing to lose. There are not many cleansers that I will buy that are not drug store brand, it doesn't stay on your skin so what can the difference be? I have used many department store brands and this is the only one I will shell out the cash for. I have oily acne prone/combination skin, that tends to be more on the red side (even though I use more sunscreen than anyone I know). Within three uses, I saw a noticeable difference in my skin.

I was also concerned about using this because the of the lack of acne fighting ingredients. My fears, and acne was soon soothed, I have not had a crazy break out since. I have been using this for years. It is THE best exfoliating product out there.

I received an email that my two products (this and the combo mask I ordered) were sent together but I only received this one. I emailed the company and they responded promptly and politely about the mistake. It had been sent in two packages and I received the second package a day or two later. So, like I said, fantastic product--great customer service.

This is the same product that is often sold to consumers in 50mL (1.7 ounce) jars.

In either package, it's a great product for doing twice-weekly exfoliation (as long as your skin isn't very sensitive; it might be too harsh for sensitive skin). It certainly seems to remove more dead skin cells than manual exfoliation. I personally like using it after a breakout has subsided to make my skin feel smoother.

This larger package has two advantages over the smaller package. (Aside: this is a plastic tube, whereas the smaller pack is a glass jar with a plastic lid. I'm torn about this because I always prefer using glass rather than plastic, but in this case there is much less packaging used with the plastic vs. 4 of the glass jars.):

1. It's tough to get all the product out of the small jars, and even after scraping my finger around the jar to pull it out, I end up wasting a little which is hard to accept considering how expensive this stuff is. I find it easier to squeeze it out of the tube, and when I reach the end of the tube I expect I'll cut it open to get the last bit.

2. As of this writing, the large package costs slightly less per milliliter ($132 vs $141 to purchase 4 jars, shipping not included). Of course this might change.)

Evan Healy Rose Clay 2.1oz clay

This product is wonderfully packaged, and the reason I say that is because when you open the box and hold this jar in you hand, you really feel like you have something special straight from a high end spa in your possesion. And that is half the fun of special products like this, am I right?

I know you can buy these products at Whole Foods, but it comes across as being a high end product, and you know I think it is just as good if not better!

I have only used it twice and my results are not conclusive as of yet. Even though I am in my thirties I have acne prone skin.

Whenever I use a clay mask, it generally pulls impurities out, which means my skin looks a bit worse for a few days.

I think that this is better and more natural than something that is just keeping the impurities trapped or subdued (like proactive for instance)

because then you have MORE problems that crop up as soon as you finish using the products (even if you use them for years).

I think purifying the skin with a natural product like this is better for your skin in the long run.

I feel good about this product, it seems to be of the highest quality. I feel that it will last a long time,

which is important to me, I hate it when I buy a facial mask tube or mud mask at Origins or other places, and you can't get it all out of the tube at the end. So you are loosing money right there, and it's already mixed with water, so ... you are paying for water as well.

I will tell you, if you wash your face with a white wash

cloth to get it off (which is what I like to do and will continue to do) it will stain your wash cloth pink! Even after washing the two cloths I used,

they are still stained with pink clay. Which is fine with me, I will just use them with this product. But fair warning.

The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is because I don't really know if it is working for my skin yet or not.

This French Rose clay seems to be the real deal and I am happy to have found it. This is the first Evan Healy product I have ever used and I am going to check the rest of them out.

I love Evan Healy's products. This mask is great, because unlike other masks, you don't have to scrub it off when it's dry. You actually splash your face with water, just like the instructions say.

Wen Pomegranate (Gluten Free) Cleansing Conditioner 32 Oz

It seemed to me that there were a lot of mixed reviews about this product. I gave it a shot anyway. The gluten free thing was appealing to me. At first I thought it was humorous because one obviously doesn't eat shampoo, but I figured, as someone with celiacs, I might as well give it a shot. Maybe my skin reacts to gluten as well. I wasn't sure.

Previously, before using WEN, my scalp was dry and irritated, and then a day after washing (I wash every other day) my scalp would be really oily and and flaky. If I washed every day, my scalp would get even drier and flakier. Not attractive. I was also getting a minor rash on my neck shoulders and arms. Turns out the shampoo I was using wasn't gluten free. Strangely enough, my skin was reacting similarly to how my stomach acts when I ingest wheat. I hadn't made that connection until I switched over to the WEN product.

First of all, I had no problem with stinky hair. It completely cleans it. You really have to use it properly. Many times, people have trouble following directions and blame the product when it was their fault in the first place. Follow the directions. It's easy.

Anyway, The first thing I noticed was it's scent. It was a very herbal-sweet smell, and I liked it very much. It takes a bit longer to wash my hair, but it's okay. I also noticed how much stronger my hair became after only a week. My hair is also much shinier than before. My boyfriend, who is not especially concerned with hair or the like, actually noticed the quality increase of my hair and mentioned it to me, much to my surprise. My scalp hasn't itched a bit, and the rash on my skin is completely cleared up.

A wonderful product. When I run out, I will be getting more.

I used Wen for the first time this past weekend, and I am SO pleased with the product. I was fairly hesistant using it, but my hair feels so clean and healthy. Even though it doesn't lather, you know it's clean when you're done... It revitalized my hair in the dryest location, and I am now a fan. I love that it's the cleaner, conditioner and the leave-in. :) This product REALLY can be used on all hair types and I'm proof of that now. I'm an African-American woman who is transitioning from relaxers to natural hair. It gave my hair body and made it manageable... I am a Wen believer now!

My hair is course, very very thick, sometimes frizzy, alot of times unmanageable unless u spend about an hour and half on it. I love this cleansing conditioner. It is PERFECT for someone who has unruly hair like I do. To top it off, this particular one is Gluten Free and I have a severe reaction to Gluten, so thank you Chaz Dean for making one that is Gluten Free. The bad news if you like WEN, pomegranite is the ONLY formulation that is Gluten Free. I also do not leave in any to use as a styling balm and I think a lot of people that do this will be unhappy because they probably have typical 'caucasian' hair and it would be weighted down with too much of the WEN product. However, people with fine or fairly naturally straight hair should not use WEN everyday for the same reason it might weigh their hair down. These people should alternate use with another sulfate free shampoo. For those gals out there with 'big' hair like my own knock yourself out and use WEN as often as you like it will make your hair less brittle, softer and more manageable.

I do love Wen, but there are two reasons I only gave it 3 stars... it is not affordable, and I do sometimes have to use regular shampoo or I feel some build up in my hair.

I read a review that said this was mediocre,& smelled funny. I must disagree. I take steroids for my sense of smell, and I can say, there are very few products that I can stand using because of their sent, I can literally smell every molecule. This is fruitiously yummy. I am West Indian, we have naturally cotton like hair. Straightening is temporary, like minutes, don't color or use chemical anything on it, & grows 3 inches per decade. I used Mixed Chicks, and was happy to go with my natural curl, but my hair was coming out too much, and I had to use too much product to keep the style.

So I gave this a try and OMGoodness. I have been using it for 1 month now and love my hair, for the first time in my life. Scent good, easy to use, I only need about 6 pumps for my entire head when I do the "Wash" and 2 pumps per day for restyle. Soft, beautiful hair, my hair has stopped falling out, my natural curls are perfect, and I am getting compliments! Buy it, you won't be sorry.

This soap is made with quality in mind! It gives a rich lather and nice feel on the skin. The shipment was fast and the packaging is beautiful. The soap bar lasts for a long time and never loses it's aroma. One of the best soaps I have ever used.

and that's the problem. If you love the scent of sandalwood, I wouldn't recommend this soap. The soap is laced with other fragrances that ruined it for me, and is so overpowering, that in spite of the price of the soap, I, who am pretty frugal, ended up putting what was left in the box in the Goodwill bag. No doubt many people will like this overbearing fragrance, but I, who love the fragrance of sandalwood, did not. Otherwise, as a soap, it functioned satisfactorily. P.s., I'm female, which may account for my review vs. that of the previous reviewer.

This lovely, high quality Sandalwood soap by Caswell-Massey is made of natural, vegetable based products. The soap is triple-milled which means that the soap is very hard and will last a long time. The lather is mild and creamy, leaving the skin lightly scented with this special sandalwood blend.
