I bought this to do spot treatments for those in-between hair washing days. I have blond hair with darker roots, and this blended in really well! Didn't look at all powdery after rubbing in and it worked for both roots as well as my bangs. It made the oily-ness disappear and gave my hair a teeny bit of volume also. Exactly what I wanted. The smell is lemony but if you are not super into the scent it is not too strong. I thought it was fine.

First about my hair: I have very dark brown hair, LOTS of it (and super long). I wash my hair every other day, sometimes every 3rd day. I use this product about 2 times a week for the last year. I LOVE IT. I've never had a problem with it not blending into my hair. I use it around my scalp line and use a round brush to brush through. One recommendationdo it before you get dressed, or put a robe on, because I've noticed the powder can fly when you apply it. I also use a makeup brush on my face after, just to make sure there isn't any left around my facesometimes you can't see it until you're out in daylight.

I have ordered this product once before and I think it's wonderful. When roots start to show, I just use this power and it covers the roots so it looks very natural.

However, when I ordered a second bottle recently, I found out that the bottle had a slit in the side. When I went to use it, the powder went all over the place. The product costs more than any similar product I've purchased in the past. Unfortunately, I needed the new bottle so badly that I poured the remaining powder into another container instead of returning it.
