When I first met my b/f I stayed at his place a lot and he had some of this that he had gotten as a gift with purchase and his skin was really oily and he said that it worked great. I LOVED it so much and the smell was awesome. Eventually Dillards gave away another kind of facial cleanser with purchase and we drifted away from this kind.

Three years later out of curiosity I looked this cleanser up on Amazon and I found it and was so excited to find it that I bought it. When it got here and I used it, it was nothing like I remembered. It doesn't soap up and its almost like I am putting lotion on my face IN the shower. Because I dont want to waste it, what I do is put some bar soap on my hands and then some of this cleanser on top of it and rub it altogether so I can get it to soap up enough to make a soapy cleaning instead of a lotion application.

The only constant is that awesome smell. :)

I have posted comments on the other 3 reviews, there is some misunderstanding going on here because there are TWO very similar products being talked about. The product I have used for years LOOKS identical to this, but the small print is slightly different. I was looking for: Estee Lauder Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser, this product is like a cream.. literally: Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser, which is meant to be used without water and removed with a tissue. Like another reviewer, it had me totally baffled in the shower! It was greasy, not foamy. I've sent a great deal of information to the seller, and hopefully they will now elaborate in their description.. so others don't accidentally buy this VERY different, but IDENTICAL "looking" product. If you are looking for a greasy cream, you are probably in the right place. If you want a FABULOUS gentle foaming cleanser, this is NOT it.. do a search for: Estee Lauder Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser. I have been using my Opal for over a year now, and it is great. I've driven a convertible for 30 years, and my eye area shows the effect of all that wind in my face. The Opal has really helped firm up the wrinkles under my eyes.

WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS, even tho the product info and insructions state on the product that it is for acrylic AND GELS, it actully does not work with SOAK OFF gel products and polish. nail polish and soak off gels are more flexible than the intense seal, so it will crack and peel off and peel your polish right off. I used it on a client after applying soak off gels, and it peeled by next day.

i want the company to make sure this info is put on official product descriptions and instructions.. grrrr

IBD Intense Seal does what it says on the package (mostly). It applies like polish over filed acrylic or cured gel and then cures in the gel lamp. IBD Intense Seal is a little runnier than Brisa Gloss topcoat, but they're otherwise very similar in application and curing and you don't have to remove the inhibition layer after IBD Intense Seal. They both have that purple fluorescence that is always cool if you go anywhere with black lights. This product will NOT soak off with acetone, so you have to file the nail enhancement to remove it.

My only problem with this product is that it is brittle. You CAN'T apply it over polish on natural nails (to protect them from polish remover) because the flex of the natural nails will have it crack off. (If you must protect polish on natural nails from chemicals, I would recommend CND Shellac topcoat instead.) IBD Intense Seal will crack off of anything flexible (including too-thin gel or wraps) and after a few days I notice small chips off the sealed free edge of my acrylics. I just smooth the edge of the chip with a file and it wears fine afterwards.

Personally, I don't use Intense Seal on myself any more... I prefer IBD clear gel instead to seal my acrylics because it's not brittle and doesn't chip, but it doesn't feel totally slick like Intense Seal feels. So I still use Intense Seal sometimes on clients for convenience.

So, in summary, if you want to seal acrylic nails, this stuff applies very easily, cures in 2-3 minutes depending on your gel lamp, doesn't need leave an inhibition layer, and stays shiny for weeks. You need a gel lamp to cure it and you have to file it off to remove or fill. It won't work for anything less rigid than acrylic because it's a little brittle.

I absolutely love this product. It leaves a very durable high shine finish on nails with gel overlays, gel polishes, acrylic nails, and gel nails. I imagine it would also perform exceptionally well over silk and fiberglass wraps, but I haven't used it for that yet. I have replaced my UV Top Coat with this product since it requires no clean up or buffing after curing. I do not, however, recommend using it on natural nails. I gave it a shot to test it out since I'd heard good and bad on it's performance on natural nails. It flakes off on the free edge of the nail very easily with natural nails. I haven't had that problem with my gel overlays or my mother's acrylic and gel nails. What I love best about this product is that it protects my manicure very well from acetone during polish removals and clean up. I use the soak off method to remove stubborn glitter polishes and so far this product has stood up to the abuse perfectly. It's a major game changer for a polish addict like me. The only thing I would add is that it is detrimentally important to wrap the free edge of the nail during application. It will flake off and chip every time if you forget or don't properly get the entire free edge. I also recommend curing for 4 minutes under a UV light instead of the recommended 3 minutes. It seams to seal a bit stronger with that extra minute of curing time.

B Kamins Medicated Acne Gel (select option/size)

I recommend this product to people (esp. adult women) who suffer from mild to moderate acne and need a product with more potentcy than the 2.5% benzoyl peroxide that you get with Proactiv and lots of OTC products. I have noticed, however, that this B. Kamins 5% acne gel packs a slightly weaker punch than Earth Therapeutics' Clari-T Acne Serum Nº5. The latter frequently goes out of stock, though, so I use this B. Kamins product as backup.

I spread a thin layer of this acne gel over my entire face each night and have had no problems with my skin getting dried out or flaky. I saw immediate improvement within the first few days; and after 4-5 weeks, my skin was (and still is) clearer than it has been since I was 12. I used to have 15-20 blemishes on my face at any given time, and now I have 2 or 3 (no joke!). The gel is clear with little white flecks, and it has virtually no scent. (B. Kamins touts its "Bio-Maple" complex used in this and other products, so I was actually hoping it would smell a little like maple syrup; alas, no.) Although the gel feels slightly grainy upon application, it spreads around easily and is quickly absorbed.

If you're in the market for a 5% BPO product, I must honestly recommend that you try Earth Therapeutics' Clari-T Acne Serum Nº5 first, as it's more effective than the B. Kamins gel and is only $6.99. Why is it more effective? I have virtually zero blemishes when I use it, versus 2-3 with B. Kamins. It's a minor difference, but noticeable to me.

The B. Kamins gel is not a bad choice, though, so if you're going to buy it, shop around to get a better deal -you can definitely find it for less than Amazon sells it. Good luck!

I used to use "ddf benzyl peroxide gel" but they changed the formula to a cream that actually made my break outs worse. After about a week or so of research I decided to try this gel and this one works just as well for me as the old ddf gel did. I tend to get spotty breakouts (about 2-3 single but sometimes large pimples at a time) every week to two weeks and it has taken care of my most recent breakout within 24-48 hrs, even overnight no one would know I had a problem unless I pointed it out. I would say I love it but I've only had it a couple of weeks so far so I have to make sure it continues to work: so far, so good.

Kerstin Florian Rehydrating Neroli Cleansing Milk

When I moved from the northeast to hot and humid Texas in the middle of a hot summer, my skin went crazy. To boot, I've always had sensitive skin that reacted severely to many different facial cleansers, day lotions and sunscreens. My formerly dormant rosacea resurfaced. My skin turned oily, I was sweating a lot (thanks, Houston!) and was constantly breaking out.

I started buying new products and trying different things, and nothing improved, and some of the new products made my skin worse. I wasted a lot of money in that endeavor and my face was a wreck. In desperation I sought the advice of an esthetician. She recommended three Kerstin Florian products (I had never heard of this brand before), and this neroli cleaning milk was one of them. She said they were high quality products, and worth the money. Mind you, I have never paid this much for a skin cleanser (my former favorite was about $3 a tube) but I was desperate.

This is a very gentle yet effective facial cleanser. I use two squirts per facewash. It is not overly-drying, it is so gentle. In the winter I didn't even need a facial moisturizer after using it. Now that the sun is stronger I am using a KF facial lotion with SPF.

I am seven-plus months into using the first bottle and there is still about 1/3 left. A little goes a long way.

The only odd thing about this product is that it does not foam up and it is not slippery and sudsy. It goes on "flat" feeling. It definately works but it may just not be what you are used to. Adjusting to that change was no big deal for me, especially since I know that the agents that are added to skin cleaners to help them create suds can be harsh on the skin, and I needed gentle.

It has a light scent that is derived from essential oils of neroli, from the flowers of the bitter orange tree.

My facial skin has calmed down, and I'm grateful for that.

This cleanser is gentle on the skin but still deep cleans my combination skin. The bottle lasts for months!The pump dispenses easily. Highly recommended.

Been using Ambi for one month, three to four times per day...has faded my UNDER EYE DARK CIRCLES and huge dark spots on either side of my face by at least seventy five percent in this short amount of time. Excellent for clearing up post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. I'm fair skinned (very very pale), so I can scar easily. With trouble combination skin, acne, age, etc...this has been a problem I've dealt with for years, nearly decades. The problem with cystic acne is you can develop post inflammatory hyper pigmentation, which in simple terms are those dark splotchy purple/red spots that linger for months as it heals, sometimes even permanently scarring the area. And if you are older than your usual acne sufferer (ie a teenager), it takes even longer for them to go away because of the time it takes for collagen & elastin to be produced in the body. They are unsightly & seem to take forever to go away, especially if you get multiple flare ups of acne atop the same spot. Well, I finally managed to get the acne under control & decided I needed to get a product that could help clear up the dark marks left over on my cheeks. I've seen dermatologists multiple times for both acne & scarring, & although they are very capable, at times their remedies are costly. I needed something affordable and effective. I happened across this product amidst researched reviews & reports. It was priced affordably and seemed to have majority positive reviews on various sites. I did buy this elsewhere in a single tube to try it first, before investing in a multi-pack. There are two kinds: normal & oily skin. I got the one for normal, though perhaps I should have considered for oily, as it will moisturize the sites in which you apply it. But I've not broken out because of it thus far. I've used it for about a week now, apply twice a day as it recommends. I wash my face, treat it for acne, apply this (ONLY to the sites of discoloration), & top it off with sunblock. I wear sunblock anyway, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you wear it, especially when using this product. It works by inhibiting the production of melanin in the skin, within the site of application. Not using sunscreen/block, allows the spots to return once you have finishing using Ambi, because the skin's melanin is what makes us tan & freckle; protecting & reacting to the sun's rays. Thus, this will make you more photo sensitive to the sun for a while. It does have it's own sunscreen mixed in, but you should really be mindful of your skin (the largest organ of your body) & wear sunscreen everyday. & don't trust the ones only in your make up. It degrades over time & tends to be a low spf. I digress, in the short amount of time, Ambi has managed not to break me out further & the areas of extreme discoloration have already improved by 50%. I'm extremely please with the results. The majority of dark purple contrast has faded to a light pink or pale red. This type of result would have taken me weeks without assistance. Ambi recommends you use it for about 3 months & discontinue use thereafter. I would theorize that my spots will diminish adequately long before then. Remember, there is no magic cure or youth potion, but if you take care of your skin when you are in your teens & early 20's (avoiding excessive sun, wearing sunscreen, handling acne, etc...) you'll be much better off in the long run. And if you are going to use ANY lightening cream, be mindful that you are going to be more photosensitive afterwords; wear sunscreen.

I heard rave reviews about the hand lotion; this is not it. This is for feet and would be good for hands but it has exfoliants in it. It is very moisturizing, but I don't see the need to exfoliate and moisturize feet. I'd rather only to moisturize. I don't know if I am keen on this brand as it is difficult to find, but there aren't many good organic hand creams that are made in the U.S.

My roots are still dead white despite having left this product on for the time specified for gray hair. I used the light blonde, my hair is (dyed) light blond with a few dark lowlights. My blond is blonder, the lowlights are a bit lighter (not bad) but as for the roots, I might as well have put cold cream in it for 45 minutes for all the change it made. Going back to Feria; still a L'Oreal product but for some reason Feria works where this one didn't.

I bought this to do spot treatments for those in-between hair washing days. I have blond hair with darker roots, and this blended in really well! Didn't look at all powdery after rubbing in and it worked for both roots as well as my bangs. It made the oily-ness disappear and gave my hair a teeny bit of volume also. Exactly what I wanted. The smell is lemony but if you are not super into the scent it is not too strong. I thought it was fine.

Conclusion: Love it.

I love this dry shampoo. I have dark brown hair and it blends really easily and smells so refreshing. This large bottle lasts me at least 6-8 months with use at least one or twice a week.

First about my hair: I have very dark brown hair, LOTS of it (and super long). I wash my hair every other day, sometimes every 3rd day. I use this product about 2 times a week for the last year. I LOVE IT. I've never had a problem with it not blending into my hair. I use it around my scalp line and use a round brush to brush through. One recommendationdo it before you get dressed, or put a robe on, because I've noticed the powder can fly when you apply it. I also use a makeup brush on my face after, just to make sure there isn't any left around my facesometimes you can't see it until you're out in daylight.

I have ordered this product once before and I think it's wonderful. When roots start to show, I just use this power and it covers the roots so it looks very natural.

However, when I ordered a second bottle recently, I found out that the bottle had a slit in the side. When I went to use it, the powder went all over the place. The product costs more than any similar product I've purchased in the past. I now find that that soap dries my skin too much so I grabbed some Olay Daily Wash perfect. I already used the Total Effects moisturizer (see below) and sometimes get the body wash in the winter, so I liked Olay. No dry skin, storkbite redness gone, and no breakouts at all. Pretty affordable too (compared to the moisturizer). Tone is overall evened out. Skin's just a bit brighter. I've only used it for a few days and I surprise myself in the mirror with nice skin and needs far less makeup for redness. Simple little cleanser leaves you as clean as soap without the dryness and doesn't leave you feeling layered in goop like so many other products do. Don't worry about it feeling like you can't rinse it off the minute you towel-blot is miraculously perfect (like the body wash of years ago was). Love it.

What a difference! It absorbs perfectly and leaves no film, and there's no adjustment period where your skin breaks out. Helps fine lines SHOW LESS (not sure it can get rid of them) and balances skin. You don't need much so that helps the $ a bit. I don't use it under makeup because I use mineral powder only and it gets in its way if you can't wait 15 minutes after applying. I'd do it if i needed to but i don't. Once a day before bed is enough for me.

If you have average to sensitive skin with no major issues to contend with, Olay products are a perfect, SIMPLE solution to maintain healthy skin. It has never required an adjustment period for me, spreads well, and never leaves a film. They interact well with each other, too. No overnight miracles but overnight RELIEF with long-term improvement. Strongly recommend. I have 3 skin products in my house Olay Total, Olay Daily, and Mineral foundation. Costs me about $60/yr and I don't spend endless hours shopping around for any of it and wasting $ on new things that disappoint. Simple, affordable, effective.

And, really like it. It has the granules that feel like it is really scrubbing into the skin. The only thing I don't like is that it seems like it doesn't last very long but the secret is, when it doesn't squirt anymore, put some water in with it and it will last another 2 weeks or so.

Not happy with the product. Caused itchiness,redness and a rash when using it. Went back to the Olay facial foaming wash for sensitive skin. Like that product better.

Wen Pomegranate (Gluten Free) Cleansing Conditioner 32 Oz

It seemed to me that there were a lot of mixed reviews about this product. I gave it a shot anyway. The gluten free thing was appealing to me. At first I thought it was humorous because one obviously doesn't eat shampoo, but I figured, as someone with celiacs, I might as well give it a shot. Maybe my skin reacts to gluten as well. I wasn't sure.

Previously, before using WEN, my scalp was dry and irritated, and then a day after washing (I wash every other day) my scalp would be really oily and and flaky. If I washed every day, my scalp would get even drier and flakier. Not attractive. I was also getting a minor rash on my neck shoulders and arms. Turns out the shampoo I was using wasn't gluten free. Strangely enough, my skin was reacting similarly to how my stomach acts when I ingest wheat. I hadn't made that connection until I switched over to the WEN product.

First of all, I had no problem with stinky hair. It completely cleans it. You really have to use it properly. Many times, people have trouble following directions and blame the product when it was their fault in the first place. Follow the directions. It's easy.

Anyway, The first thing I noticed was it's scent. It was a very herbal-sweet smell, and I liked it very much. It takes a bit longer to wash my hair, but it's okay. I also noticed how much stronger my hair became after only a week. My hair is also much shinier than before. My boyfriend, who is not especially concerned with hair or the like, actually noticed the quality increase of my hair and mentioned it to me, much to my surprise. My scalp hasn't itched a bit, and the rash on my skin is completely cleared up.

A wonderful product. When I run out, I will be getting more.

I used Wen for the first time this past weekend, and I am SO pleased with the product. I was fairly hesistant using it, but my hair feels so clean and healthy. Even though it doesn't lather, you know it's clean when you're done... It revitalized my hair in the dryest location, and I am now a fan. I love that it's the cleaner, conditioner and the leave-in. :) This product REALLY can be used on all hair types and I'm proof of that now. My hair is course, very very thick, sometimes frizzy, alot of times unmanageable unless u spend about an hour and half on it. I love this cleansing conditioner. It is PERFECT for someone who has unruly hair like I do. To top it off, this particular one is Gluten Free and I have a severe reaction to Gluten, so thank you Chaz Dean for making one that is Gluten Free. The bad news if you like WEN, pomegranite is the ONLY formulation that is Gluten Free. I also do not leave in any to use as a styling balm and I think a lot of people that do this will be unhappy because they probably have typical 'caucasian' hair and it would be weighted down with too much of the WEN product. However, people with fine or fairly naturally straight hair should not use WEN everyday for the same reason it might weigh their hair down. These people should alternate use with another sulfate free shampoo. For those gals out there with 'big' hair like my own knock yourself out and use WEN as often as you like it will make your hair less brittle, softer and more manageable.

I do love Wen, but there are two reasons I only gave it 3 stars... it is not affordable, and I do sometimes have to use regular shampoo or I feel some build up in my hair.

I read a review that said this was mediocre,& smelled funny. I must disagree. I take steroids for my sense of smell, and I can say, there are very few products that I can stand using because of their sent, I can literally smell every molecule. This is fruitiously yummy. I am West Indian, we have naturally cotton like hair. Straightening is temporary, like minutes, don't color or use chemical anything on it, & grows 3 inches per decade. I used Mixed Chicks, and was happy to go with my natural curl, but my hair was coming out too much, and I had to use too much product to keep the style.

I ordered conditioner together with the shampoo, and the funny thing is, that i received conditioner first and had to wait for shampoo for another 5 days. But that's not the main point. If u have mild dandruff or dry scalp or itching this is not the best brand for it. In my case, this product didn't do much. Even head and shoulders worked better in that problem area. The reason why i gave 3 stars is because, all in all, its not a bad conditioner. It does make your hair softer and easier to comb, it just doesn't do much about the dandruff situation.
