A friend really likes this product and it can only be found in the US. Unfortunately its out of production and Kiehls no longer produces a similar product. Its a shame when they get rid of products that customers actually enjoy!

I've been using this product for 3 years; it works very well without causing any allergic reactions. It lasts a long time, too, using a small amount of product per wash. Wonderful!

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.77 Ounce

This is similar to the Neutrogena 2% salicylic acid face wash I've been using for quite some time. But, after using both, I prefer the Biore.

Both have the same concentration of salicylic acid (2%) which is the active acne fighting ingredient. Both are very thick just a small amount is needed to get a good lather. And both require caution against overuse since the salicylic acid can be rough on your skin if you use it too often. I find that once a day with the occasional skipped day works for me.

Where the Biore pulls ahead is in the scent and how it makes my face feel after using it. The Neutrogena does not smell bad it basically smells like soap. The Biore has a fresher scent that is more botanical in nature, and my face feels cool after using it. I expect the latter is due to the inclusion of menthol in the Biore.

I can't fault either in terms of results and performance, but the Biore is more enjoyable to use. Highly recommend.

I've used this cleanser for a month now and here are the results:

1. My skin does feel cleaner and looks better. I did break out a couple of times due to hormonal changes; however, it was not as much as usual.

2. Do not use this product more than once a day it will DRY your skin out! It is not a gentle cleanser. The right balance for me was using it before going to bed and then applying a moisturizer after.

3. You are not supposed to use other topical acne medications with this, per the instructions on the back, or your skin will become irritated. It contains 2% salycic acid.

While I'm not displeased with the results, I don't know if I will use this in the long term. It seems harsher than what I should be applying to my skin.

I only need a very small dot of this cleanser to clean my face and it feels great on my skin. It has a nice, fresh scent that I quite like. Seems to be effective too. It really helps with oily skin, and calms irritated spots as well. It has become my favorite face cleanser in just a few short weeks!

Product has the requisite acne-fighting ingredient, and the "iciness" is subtle enough to be pleasant...it probably helps open the pores a bit to let in the active ingredient salicylic acid. The pump is convenient, and the container size is ideal (I find most pump soaps too skimpy; at nearly 7 ounces, this bottle is just right).

BUT.

The texture--the VISCOUSITY--however, is pretty obnoxious. It is difficult to wash off, requiring a great deal of rinsing before one feels one has gotten it all OFF. It's roughly like pancake syrup.

Which is perhaps what some people really like, and would describe the feeling as "rich."

For my part, I've given up using it as a soap, but find it acceptable...as a shaving gel.

I have tried several wash cloths over the years and would always come back to this one. My grocery store used to carry this item and they stopped. I was very happy to find it on Amazon.

When you start using a fresh cloth, the texture can be a little rough especially if you're used to terry or puff. Over the course of a week or two, the texture softens. After a couple months, the cloth looses that exfoliating texture and feels almost terry-like. At this point, I usually replace mine.

After use, I hang the cloth by the little loop stitched to one corner and it dries very quickly. I have never had the cloth discolor, get moldy or take on a smell. You can machine wash the cloth to "freshen" it up every week and it works very well. The type of shower gel I use has always worked and even rubbing a soap bar inside the cloth creates a nice lather.

This cloth is a bit rougher than others, but overtime it will become softer. I love the size and I love how it stays fresh (no molding, etc)

I already had the #2 and #3 parts for this Onsen Micro water complex system and wanted to try the #1 part (the cleanser) I found that I love it as much as the other products in the group. I am looking to replenish my moisturizer as it is so light and smells so great. I found it on Amazon but at this time there are none available for sale. Deep Sea Cosmetic Dead Sea DSC Black Diamond - Magnetism Mud Mask

Bought this product at the mall kiosk. The associate was very helpful in explaining how to use it properly. It has a strong magnetic pull & is full of minerals so you only want to use this product once, maybe twice, per week. With that said, it should last over a year, making it very affordable when averaged out. To use it properly, she explained to me to use it on a clean dry face, rub the product over your face in an upward motion, and then using the magnet (which is extremely strong) wrap the magnet in a paper towel (I have found it best to cover it at least twice otherwise you can't get the product off the magnet). When using the magnet, you only want to barely glide it over your skin, do not press down. It will lift the product off and it will adhere to the magnet. It's actually very cool to see. Do NOT wash your face is what she told me. You want to leave the minerals on your face. You can then use the milk cleanser. It will remove any extra dirt from your skin but leave the minerals behind. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my complexion since using this product. Don't think I will be using anything else now that I've found this brand.

This mud is very interesting. I am amazed at how it works and I have never before used anything that was magnetic. It is a little hard to put on, that may just be me, but after you do you leave it on for about 7 minutes and then take it off with a kleenex wrapped around a magnet. It is amazing. You can not use water only a magnet and don't let the magnet be exposed because you will never remove the particles from the magnet, they must stay on the kleenex. Once you remove the magnet from the kleenex, which is not an easy task , then it goes back to looking like a black cream. Don't get the particles on your hands, they can't be washed off, only removed with the magnet. That having been said, when the magnetic particles are removed, there is a oil left on your face to be rubbed in and then you clean with Deep Sea Milk. It is fascinating to remove the mud. your face really feels great when you are through.

This all takes a little time, but your skin does glow when you are finished. If you enjoy taking time for yourself you would probably like this product.

I have tried all these products for acne relief and ended up putting way too many layer of foundation on everyday to hide my acne. To my embarassement, my mom was the one who told my to try Oxy products out and I decided to follow her advice and it actually cleared up all my acne in about 4-5 days. I started using this cleanser a couple of weeks ago. I've been a fan of the Bare Minerals foundation/makeup line for awhile, and decided to branch out to their cleansers and facial treatments. Although this face wash did what it was prescribed to do (removed makeup gently), it did dry out my skin more than my regular cleanser. This isn't too surprising, since I have naturally dry skin, but I was disappointed since many of the reviews said that it specifically would not dry out your skin. However, still happy with the Bare Escentuals line as a whole, and may go on to buy their moisturizer as a compliment to this wash. Also, as someone else mentioned, while the wash is a bit expensive, there is added value in that you really only need a half a pump to wash your entire face.

I've been using this facial cleanser for about a year. I have combination skin, and finding a cleanser that doesn't dry it out or irritate it is maddening. Love this stuff though. This is the best price for the quantity that I've been able to find, product was in great shape when it arrived earlier than expected.

I was ordering some of my kiehls favorites when I came upon the 1 poor review for this item, and I had to write my own review. This is what I consider my beauty product secret, and it's my very favorite. I do have dry to combination skin, and I used to get dry patches and irritation, and that no longer happens even in the cold winter. I have used it for about 7 years now and it works just as well now as it always has. My skin doesn't feel tight after I wash, and it even easily removes my eye makeup without a separate solution without burning my skin or my eyes. They should change the name,in my opinion, though, because it is called "foaming" but it does not actually visibly foam when I wash...it's more milky. This could discourage someone who really likes a foaming feeling when they wash. However, with the healthy skin I've had since using it, I really don't care that it doesn't foam!

This is a great shampoo; very effective, but what I loved most was the wonderful smell. It is not a floral smell. It's closer to a fresh spice (not like a kitchen smell, though). It makes shampooing pleasant.

I don't usually write reviews for products that I didn't buy off of Amazon, but after finding this at a local supermarket I had to write about it for other people. I struggle to have good hair. It's greasy in less than a day, and for the time that it isn't greasy it's dry and shedding. I'm on a limited budget, and some of the cheaper shampoos that I've used have made my hair even worse. Every time I have my hair cut the stylist comments on how dry the ends are, and she has to cut more than expected because they're so damaged.

I've read a bit about sulfate-free and silicone-free hair products, and I've tended to believe that it's all hype. Regardless of that, this shampoo is legit. The shampoo on its own leaves your hair feeling more stripped out and dry than most shampoos do when they rinse out. Followed with the conditioner, though, it has made my hair softer than ever before. My ends still feel like they do after a fresh cut. And THE SMELL. It's amazing. It really lingers, and I find myself going out of my way to smell my own hair. True to the aforementioned pseudoscience, my hair really does seem less greasy on the following days. Rubbing my fingers into my scalp, I do think that I have more of my own oils actually present without resulting in a really gross build-up of any kind.

So all in all, potentially dubious claims about organic and otherwise "more natural" products aside, this was entirely worth the buy. I'll be using it from now on.

I bought this to do spot treatments for those in-between hair washing days. I have blond hair with darker roots, and this blended in really well! Didn't look at all powdery after rubbing in and it worked for both roots as well as my bangs. It made the oily-ness disappear and gave my hair a teeny bit of volume also. Exactly what I wanted. The smell is lemony but if you are not super into the scent it is not too strong. I thought it was fine.

Conclusion: Love it.

I love this dry shampoo. I have dark brown hair and it blends really easily and smells so refreshing. This large bottle lasts me at least 6-8 months with use at least one or twice a week.

First about my hair: I have very dark brown hair, LOTS of it (and super long). I wash my hair every other day, sometimes every 3rd day. I use this product about 2 times a week for the last year. I LOVE IT. I've never had a problem with it not blending into my hair. I use it around my scalp line and use a round brush to brush through. One recommendationdo it before you get dressed, or put a robe on, because I've noticed the powder can fly when you apply it. I also use a makeup brush on my face after, just to make sure there isn't any left around my facesometimes you can't see it until you're out in daylight.

I have ordered this product once before and I think it's wonderful. When roots start to show, I just use this power and it covers the roots so it looks very natural.

However, when I ordered a second bottle recently, I found out that the bottle had a slit in the side. When I went to use it, the powder went all over the place. The product costs more than any similar product I've purchased in the past.
