This cleanser had me just a little nervous due to the menthol in it. I have heard that menthol can be irritating to sensitive skin with blemishes, especially irritated blemishes, so I wasn't sure what I was going to get. Well, I used it, and was happy to find that it was actually pretty gentle, and super refreshing! There is a cooling effect that was enjoyable and definetly not overpowering. The scent is nice, and it lathers well. You also donot need much to get a good lather. So far, I am pleased with this product. It also has many great reviews so that also says something about it. I did not purchase this from Amazon, but straight from the Kiehls website. I recommend doing that to ensure you are getting a fresh, authentic product. Am looking forward to trying more of Kiehls products.
