I've been using Dermalogica Active Moist for about 2 years now. I got excited when I found out that I could purchase a larger container from Amazon for a lower price. I just opened this and used it this week. This stuff is like WATER! It is so watery it looks like milk. It pours out and DOES NOT HAVE THE CONSISTENCY OF THE REAL PRODUCT. This product is a SHAM is NOT the real thing. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM THIS SELLER. Go to Ulta or some other legitimate seller and save yourself the headache. I've wasted my money and I am pissed!!!

I ordered this and was disappointed when it arrived in flimsy packaging with scraped off security seals. The product did not smell or look the stuff I have been using for 4 years. I did a side-by-side comparison with my current bottle and it was clearly not the real thing. I contacted the seller and they said they would not give me a refund because I opened it. I was surprised that they did not stand by the product at all. I had to contact Amazon to get a refund. Will not order anything from them again!

I have very hard well water that really dries my skin out. I tried many different face moisturizers, but many seemed greasy and would often lead to break outs. This leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft and I've have had by far fewer skin issues and acne break outs. I use this in conjunction with Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel and am happy with the results. I highly recommend this for people with sensitive skin or are prone to acne breakouts.

If you have trouble finding a face lotion that doesn't cause you breakouts this is the stuff for you.

I'd recommend buying a smaller sample container before you drop the cash for this salon size. But if you know you like it this is a great value to buy the larger container. I use this every morning after my shower to make sure I'm not over-dry.

People often accuse excess oil for their breakouts. For me though excessive dryness can cause even more problems then the excess oil I'm trying to remove. This is a great follow-up to your face cleaning ritual to make sure your skin stays hydrated.

Mr. Bubble Original Bath - 36 oz

the bubbles work fine, but you have to use so much of the liquid and it's so watery. I'd say save your money and get a different brand, water it down yourself and consider a standard 12 oz bottle of less expensive bubble bath as 36 oz.

I started purchasing Mr. Bubble when my son was a toddler, nearly 30 years ago. Mr. Bubble produces a nice mass of long-lasting bubbles with little product. But the best feature about Mr. Bubble is that it does not leave a bath-tub ring! Perhaps it is the combination of the Dove bar soap I use and Mr. Bubble, but I have never had to scrub a scummy bath-tub ring. I note that the manufacturer no longer advertises this outstanding quality, but I'm still a customer because of the no-bath-tub-ring properties, even though my son is now 30!

I was excited to find Mr. Bubble online in the large 36-oz size and that shipping was free if I ordered four or more. Mr. Bubble is becoming more difficult to locate in my area and seldom do I find the lager bottles.

When Mr. Bubble was delivered by UPS, I was handed a slimy, soapy cardboard box. Obviously, one or more of the bottles had leaked. Upon opening the package, I saw what the problem was: only unsuitable air-filled bags "protected" the four heavy bottles from bouncing around or keeping them upright.

Upon reading the reviews under the the Village Company, manufacturer of Mr. Bubble, the packaging issues seem to have escalated during August. Although Amazon claims full responsibility for packaging and shipping, Amazon should heed their customers' feedback (there are too many of us who have had this problem to be a fluke). There are no complaints about the product, only the packaging.

When it is time to reorder, I will definitely check the reviews to see if the packaging has improved before making another purchase.

After comparing this to J&J baby bubble bath & wash I can definitely tell this Mr. Bubble is watered down. After working in the grocery industry as a buyer, I know the simplest way for manufacturers to make more money is to dilute the product down. This is so bad it's nearly unusable.

Do not try compare this to J&J! Night and day difference. Mr. Bubble is basically water, J&J is like half water / half soap.. it's super thick.

My recommendation skip Mr. Bubble and get something that actually produces bubbles.

Our son loves bubble baths and this does the trick. I have read some reviews where people have not been satisfied w/ the amount of bubbles. We have not experienced that issue. We have found you need to move the water around and create the bubbles. If you rely on the agitation of the water from the spout, you will be disappointed in the intensity/amount of bubbles which is the one down side, you need to put some elbow grease into the making of the bubbles. Like the soft scent.

Mister bubble was always a favorite bath soap to me many years back. Twenty years later I gave it a try again and found it much less potent. At the given amount of two ounces... It is ok but a squirt of hair soap practicly makes the same amount. Honestly if I knew thew main ingredient was water I may have got a different brand... But love the classic smell

Creme of Nature Moisture & Shine Shampoo with Argan Oil: 12 OZ

OMG. This is it. I use this shampoo yesterday and I can't believe how great my hair was. My hair felt like it was washed at the salon. My hair was soft, shiny, super moisturized, detangled. I only use this shampoo once and I am planning on throwing out the rest of my shampoo and only use creme of nature argan oil shampoo.

I have relaxed 4b hair that is bras strap length/mid back. Before I could never ever comb my hair right after using a shampoo not even with prepooing. This shampoo doesn't have sodium laurethyl sulfate and I am super happy about that. The shampoo doesn't sudd a lot, but it gets your hair super clean and moisturized at the same time. My hair actually felt silky while using this shampoo. What shampoo does that to black hair except creme of nature argan oil shampoo? I used the old creme of nature formula back in 1999 and it reminds me of it alot. I think this shampoo helps with breakage because when I was washing it my hair breakage cut down to about 98%. Before I would loose a ton of hair while washing/detangling my hair. I am so in love with this shampoo. I was soooooo excited.

This shampoo has sodium hydroxide (found in lye relaxer) as one of its ingredients towards the bottom. From research the sodium hydroxide works as a binder for fatty acids in the ingredient. Basically it is a binder and it is in small amount so for you natural ladies out there, there is no need to worry about straigthening your hair .

This is the first time I'm writing a review for a product. Usually I am too lazy but today I washed my hair n I'm speechless I almost felt like I did not need to moisturize after using this .at first I notice that I had to keep using more product but it does lather. Next time I wash with this I will be section the hair and do one part at a time. As soon as I rinse the shampoo out of my hair it felt super soft. So I've been natural for almost ten years. I have been through the ringer using all kinds of shampoo. Plus I'm a product junkie at times. My latest shampoo for the last 2-3 years has been the expensive NIOXIN. In between I try things here and there but that has been my staple. I have relaxed 4b hair that is always dry and breaking no matter how much I moisturize or oil. Maybe it was the sulfates?

I just finished flat ironing my hair after using the shampoo, conditioner, leave in strengthener, and oil treatment for Creme of Nature.I didn't use the oil moisturizer because i heard off things post flat iron, so I stuck to my Silk Elements Megasilk Protection Spray. After rinsing the shampoo, I couldn't believe how great my hair felt. Clean, smooth, soft AND detangled! I could actually run a comb through it without having to mess with the knots. When I blow dried it, my hair didn't feel the least bit dried out(normally a problem), and it didn't take forever to dry like usual. My chronic dry problem spots were cured too. Even flat ironing was enjoyable. I'm 9 weeks post relaxer and my hair looks like I stepped out of the salon.

My hair looks gorgeous, soft and shiny. It feels healthy, smooth, supple, and moisturized. I am definitely a fan. I decided to try it out because it was BOGO free at Walgreen's, and while I had to drive 25 minutes to another to get the conditioner, I would drive out there again to get it.

Creme of Nature Moisture Shampoo worked REALLY great on my hair, I was literally impressed. My hair is relaxed. It was SO smooth and detangled after I finished, that I didnt even need a conditioner. It makes you WANT to wash your hair MORE just to experience the silkiness and cleaness that is leaves your hair. I am 42 years old and have used all products from cheap to expensive across the board and this works in my opinion, greater than some high end shampoos. A selling point of this shampoo is that its sulfate-free. Most of the sulfate-free shampoos that I have used don't lather very well, which makes me feel like I'm not getting it clean or using enough, I didn't use that much of it either to get the lathering effect.

Economically priced item too, especially locally.

CosMedix Benefit Clean Gentle Cleanser

I used to love this cleanser. It never leaves your skin feeling oily or too dry. It works really well too with the Clarisonic. Although I still like it, they have reformulated it. Further, they've reformulated ALL of their products and what used to seem all natural now has ingredients I'm not so sure are as natural as one would hope. It makes me wonder if they are more concerned with cheap ingredients or if they reformulated for good reasons.

I first discovered the CosMedix line while working at a spa. I love CosMedix because their products really do what they claim to do. Benefit Clean was recommended to me by an esthetician and I have been using it for approximately eight years now. It easily removes make-up and leaves skin clean without over drying or stripping. My skin tends to be on the drier side but is not sensitive. I alternate with a more gentle cleanser occasionally in winter. Benefit Clean is recommended for all skin types. CosMedix also carries Purity Clean which is an exfoliating deep cleanser which I find too harsh for my skin. However, I use Purity Clean from time to time when prepping my skin for an exfoliating mask like their Pure Enzymes. Purity Clean is more appropriate for oily skin but even so I would recommend alternating with a milder cleanser because it is very strong. The only draw back to CosMedix products is that the air pumps which dispense the product are sometimes defective. This is annoying when you are paying this much for a cleanser.

This was a decent cleanser for me. It did not irritate my perioral derm which is the reason I bought it and it also cleaned okay but other than that it was nothing special. Sometimes I found makeup and oil left by the cleanser when I used a toner. I found that using eye makeup remover before this cleanser was best. I do not plan on repurchasing unless I have a perioral derm flare up and need something very gentle and basic, which may be just what some people are needing.

I honestly didn't expect any kind of result when this was given to me as a gift but I gave it a go and it's absolutely amazing. The softness you get from weeks of applying lotion is accomplished in one scrub, I love it!!

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel

I have used this specific product for years now with great results so this feedback is not directed towards the brand. It is however to warn all Amazon buyers about the sheer incompetence, rudeness, and lack of professionalism of the seller and their representatives. When the product finally arrived, I noticed it was shipped in nothing but a thin, flimsy plastic envelope which contained zero padding or cushioning. So not surprising at all, the bottom corners of the bottle were crushed in to the point where the bottle won't even stand up on its own. What's worse however is that the top of the bottle was taped as to not let the liquid spill out during shipping. On it's face this would seem like a perfectly appropriate measure and make sense as the item is expensive and one would certainly not appreciate getting a bottle of face wash that has more outside the bottle than in. The problem with this is the product I purchased is supposed to come SEALED UNDER THE CAP, therefore making the use of tape over the bottle top pointless. When I further inspected the bottle not only did I notice that the original seal was not intact, but missing altogether. Additionally, the bottle was missing about a half inch of the face wash liquid which pretty much leaves me to believe the bottle had been used prior to being shipped to me, and likely had been returned by another user and re-sold to me as brand new. I am absolutely certain of the issues I am listing here because for one thing as I mentioned, I have been using this product for years and know full well how it is packaged by the manufacturer, AND I also purchased a similar product (the Peter Thomas Roth bluffing beads) by a different seller which not only arrived in a fully bubble wrapped package, but still had the original seal under the cap, AND the contents were full through the neck and up to the top of the bottle. The product from this seller as I said was missing contents down past the neck of the bottle. Well, I left feedback about these issues on this website and was subsequently contacted by the seller. Rather than offering any feasible solutions or even being the least bit apologetic for the inconvenience they had caused me, the response I received was rude, pretty much blamed ME for even posting anything about them, and only offered to refund my money if I a) returned the product, and b) removed the negative feedback. When I asked what difference that makes if I'm having to go back and re-purchase yet another bottle of this product from a different seller and argued that something, anything should be done to compensate for the colossal waste of time they had cost me, not to mention money, they basically told me they could care less about my business and with respect to their offer, I could take it or leave it. I am therefore writing to all of you Amazon users out there with a warning to NEVER USE THIS SELLER FOR ANYTHING as they are not only liars and cheats, but refuse to take responsibility when they get caught. I am willing to take the hit on what I paid for this item in order to leave my feedback on the site and spare all of you the trouble and headache of ever dealing with them. I was still prone to break outs at age 55. I have not had ONE since I started using this product. You only need to use a TINY amount Iand foam it up, so it last forever, making it a real bargain because the bottle last forever. It is fantastic. And no, I don't work for the company!

Clarisonic Mia(TM) Skin Cleansing System

I have been hearing such good things about the Clarisonic, I had to see for myself. I had researched, and people felt the Mia was easier to handle, more reasonably priced and worked just as well as the more expensive models.

After a month of use, I can honestly state my skin is feeling like silk. One of the articles I read about the Clarisonic stated that the cleansing action allows your moisturizers to be better absorbed into the skin, since the gentle exfoliation unblocks the pores and gets down to the fresh, clean skin.

I love the fact that the waterproof Mia goes into the shower, and I can have a luxurious facial spa treatment while my hair conditioner works. It's such a nice feeling that it's almost disappointing when the unit automatically goes off after 1 minute. The fancier, more expensive Clarisonic models beep every few seconds to let you know to move to a new area. I don't need that feature, as it is natural to keep the brush head moving, like an electric toothbrush. The Mia is much smaller and more lightweight than the other models. I can't imagine anything bigger. I am afraid it would slip out of my hand in the shower.

The charger is a neat little magnetic disc that adheres to the unit while charging. It's so small, it would be easy to bring on a trip. I did not need to recharge yet, but after 21 days, put it back on the charger. The literature says it will hold a charge for 20 days.

I have absolutely no regrets having bought the Mia. I highly recommend it, and think it is one of the best products I have ever used on my skin.

First off, I didn't purchase my Mia from Amazon. I did my homework and checked all over and found the best deal ($119, shipping included) from Skinstore.com. I have been using the Mia for one month and NOT every single day. I obeyed the directions which told me to fully charge the little guy for 12 hrs. and I know this to be wise advice since you end up messing with battery life if you don't FULLY CHARGE the very first time. I have read on other sites that many women experienced the cystic-pimple breakouts after beginning this new regimen. Well, I did too! I get a pimple here and there once in a great while and they're usually POP-able and gone the next day. These suckers were the "6 ft. under" kind that irritate the heck outta you b/c there isn't a thing you can do about them! But, b/c I knew this was going to happen, I just backed off using it every other day or even skipping two days and now I have broken through to the other side!! Hallelujah!! My pores are the most noticeable difference. They appear to have shrunk though magazines have informed me this is an impossibility. Well, how do you account for the appearance of smaller pores, then? It has softened the texture of my face and given me an even tone so I only have to spot-check my foundation now. If you can withstand the 2nd week purge and press on until your face acclimates, you will be very pleased. Also, I do not use their cleanser. I use Aveeno Positively Ageless (ha!)with mine. It is an expensive way to cleanse, I know, but your face is forever honey, take care of it!

I've been using the MIA for about a week now and I already can't imagine being without it. I had seen the larger Clarisonic and thought it looked interesting, but couldn't quite see myself spending the money for it. Now I'm glad I didn't. The MIA is the perfect size for me and really simple to use. There is only one button to push. It activates the brush for one minute and that's it! I saw a difference the first time I used it and am continuing to see improvement. Pores look smaller and lines not so pronounced. And when I apply moisturizer right after using it seems to work better. It takes a relatively long time to recharge, but I think it's because the recharger is magnetic and doesn't actually plug into the unit. No problem really because if I want to use it before it's fully recharged I just disconnect it, use it, then reconnect the charger. Since there is no socket or anything in the unit you don't have to worry about getting it wet. The MIA uses the same brushes as the larger Clarisonic, but it does not work with the body brush. That is an entirely different unit as the body brush works at a different frequency than the MIA or even the regular, larger Clarisonic. The MIA is something of an investment, but if you're looking for something that will make a difference I don't think you will be disappointed.

Update: Nearly a month later, I still love my Clarisonic and have only had to recharge it twice.

I'm so disappointed in this product. It's not because of the product itself, which has done wonders for two of my friends, but unfortunately, it had the complete opposite effect on me. I have combination skin prone to the occasional hormonal breakout, nothing too scary using the skinbrush for 5 weeks made my skin break out in a way it NEVER had, and two weeks later, I'm still nurturing it back to its normal state. I got weird bumps on my forehead I'd never had before (usually my forehead breakouts are minimal to none, and the pimples look different than they did here), and I got breakouts on my cheeks and chin (basically everywhere I used the skinbrush).

Adding to that, when I woke up every morning, my skin would be slick with oil, and I'd never had oily skin in the past. A facial therapist I saw had a theory that the skinbrush was drying my skin out so much my sebaceous glands were oversecreting oil to make up for the dryness. Not sure if this is true, but as soon as I stopped using it, my skin slowly started to get better (and it certainly didn't get worse).

Seriously, I'm very disappointed, because pretty much 9 out of 10 reviews are glowing. I'd warn anyone with very sensitive skin to avoid this product, but of course, everyone is different. If you notice breakouts within a week or two of using it, I'd suggest not waiting it out like I did just stop using it.

Okay, so this product is fairly new to me and I'm still learning as to how it works for my face. The packaging is very pretty and the delivery was on spot when I purchase this item. Though, I did notice that the first few times that I apply this serum to my face, it felt itchy but it later fade away after a few minutes. I wouldn't necessary say that I had a allergic reaction because I continued to use it once to twice a week with just a few drops on my hands and pat all over my face. My face did start to firm and tighten along the my cheeks and jawline.

I haven't noticed a DRASTIC change, but I also use other serums and moisturizers with it. I would buy this again though.

I gave this particular avon product 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not sure it works as well as other similar Avon products. But I'll keep using it and in time I will know better if I really prefer this product over other similar products made by Avon

This is skin moisturizing with a satisfying clean scent. It is so pleasant to lather up then soak in a warm bath. Try this on a lathered on a clean wash cloth, place that on your face then let the tub jets take over. Feel heavenly pampered.

EO Products Shower Gel Rose & Chamomile

This is the first EO Product to get less than five stars from me, and the only reason is that the scent is just not quite right to me. I love the EO rose products (shampoo and conditioner, soap bar, perfume oil, etc.) but in the case of the shower gel I actually prefer the French lavender. (I have also written a review for that one.) As I always expect with EO products, this shower gel is a very nice product. It is gentle on the skin while it cleanses thoroughly. I do recommend this product because I'm sure others will love the scent. It's just not my favorite! I'll get my rose-scent fix from their conditioner instead. :)

Vitabath Bath and Shower Gel, Cool Cucumber, 12 Ounce

This body wash does not irritate my sensitive skin. The scent is refreshing and non-irritating. Would buy this wash again.

This is a great smell if you want to smell fresh and clean (has a soap-ish smell to it, but the cucumber tames it down). The scent that comes is "Cucumber & White Tea," not sure why Amazon calls it "Cool Cucumber." It foams up very well and a little goes a long way. It is the most hydrating gel I've used, but I think I still prefer shower creams.

The Cucumber & White Tea smells pretty good but it's not my favorite. It's got a bit too much perfume in it for me but I actually ordered the cool cucumber and received the wrong one...i did not rate this a 3 because of the misshipping of the product, but I actually think the fragrance of the one i recieved was only 3 stars.

This body wash is high quality. It smells great (like fresh cucumbers and flowers) and a little goes a very long way. The smell is strong out of the bottle, but washes clean from your skin.

L'Occitane Amande Shower Oil

I love this stuff, I have dry skin and I'm prone to eczema if I'm not careful. Many people complaining about this product seem to be using it in place of a moisturizer or a lotion. Maybe they're thinking about it wrong. Soap is drying and harsh on your skin, this is a replacement for soap not moisturizer/lotion. I love the way my skin feels after using this (I still use lotion as well). I don't have any issues with dryness like I get with soap. I also love the faint almond scent.

It's hard to describe, it's not a shower oil the way most would think of a shower oil. It's actually a lathering cleansing shower oil and a soap replacement. When I first got a sample in my Christmas stocking 2 years ago I was expecting a typical shower oil and used it after soap. I thought it was odd that it rinsed off, so then I read the directions and information on their site. :D
