i have had eczema on and off all my life but last year i broke out bad on my arms neck hands elbows and eyelids. itchy red flaky patches everywhere with lichenification on my hand. i have been buying products non stop you name it i tried it from neosporin eczema, cetaphil, vasoline, baby oil, curel, oatmeal bath and many more things... and nothing works quite like this product I shower in the morning and apply this product on my skin while its wet and do the same at night i also use a moisturizer throughout the day like aveeno eczema or something i can carry in my purse, that combined with "light therapy" or tanning has almost rid my eczema within 4 days. i was shocked to wake up and find my hand thats been red inflamed and thick smooth and softer than its been in a long time! i would try it and if it doesnt work its still a great make up remover

My last jar lasted 3 years. Removes mascara perfectly.

I have been using Albolene Unscented Cleanser for over 40 years (yes, that's right!) and I swear by this product. While I am not obsessed with looking young, I am 65 years old and throughout my entire adult life, most people have thought I am ten years younger because my skin is so smooth, clear and unwrinkled. I actually have no crow's feet around my eyes. I use this product every night before I wash my face (with Dove unscented soap, which I also swear by). I have never used any anti-wrinkle cream or had any dermatological or surgical procedures, and so it must be the Albolene (and Dove soap) doing the great job!

This product has cleared up my skin. The red bloches are starting to disapear and has made my skin softer. Any new breakouts or bloches disapear quickly. I recommend to anyone that has red or brown marks and would like smoother skin.

I didn't know Albolene was so versatile (after reading other reviews)! Mine is based upon the manufacturer's jar directions (as a make-up/cosmetic cleanser). There are very few products I've used for decades, but this is one of them. As a mom raising girls, our house was always full of different brands of make-up remover. Many were expensive; most were ineffective (especially at taking off waterproof mascara). The kids kept experimenting, but I always returned to tried & true Albolene. It's the only make-up remover I have found that takes off all stubborn mascara traces, and does not hurt my eyes or lashes.

The kids are long gone, but Albolene remains. Being in my late fifties, skin dryness is a big issue. Albolene does a superb moisturizing job, especially during harsh winter. A thin layer of Albolene applied nightly takes away any dry patches, and it is still used as my only make-up remover. A 12 oz. jar may seem a little expensive, but it will last for years (that is, if used my way...no idea how long if used as other reviewers suggest)! Albolene will not disappoint anyone who uses it for whatever reason.
