I bought this as a quick alternative to my regular facial wash (Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Scrub, Pink Grapefruit, Value Size, 6.7 Ounce) to use temporarily during busier weeks. Upon using this product for about a week, I found that it irritated my skin and did not significantly clear up my acne. Thinking it was just a matter of my skin's sensitivity, I passed it onto my roommate to try. She had an even worse experience than me and started to develop significant acne after replacing her regular facial cleanser with these pads for less than a week. This product might help some people, but it certainly did not work for us so please use at your own risk.

I use the Clearisil Ultra Pore Cleansing pads as well as the Yes to Cucumbers wipes to remove the junk from my skin at the end of the day. The Yes to Cucumbers are really effective at getting makeup off of my face and keeping my skin from overdrying.

I use the Clearisil pads afterwards, and I ONLY use them on areas where I have acne. These are especially good for your end of day routine because they are textured and therefore exfoliate your skin before you go to bed.

I've heard from multiple sources that exfoliating right before bed is the best time to do it because while you are sleeping the skin cells can regenerate, and because dead skin accumulates on the surface of your skin during the day.

Anyway, I use one of these on my face in the evening before bed, and I use one on my upper back and the Clearisil is good at keeping both my face and back clear. But using too much of the Clearisil can make your skin too dry and blotchy the next morning, so be careful about how much you use on your face.

I've bought this product before for $6.99-$9.99 at the drugstore, so when I saw this one for less than $2 I jumped on it! I was just hoping that when I got it, it wouldn't be expired and it wasn't.

Many people have wrote reviews saying that they used the pore cleansing pads instead of face wash or soap, and then product didn't work for them. Well, this product was not meant to be a replacement for washing your face with face wash or soap, it was meant for mainly spot treatment.

If you read the label on the container itself, it actually states "Use postcleansing for acne prevention." Post means after, so to see some real results from this product, USE IT AFTER YOU WASH YOUR FACE.

I wash my face with Clearasil oil-free face wash at night & then use these pore pads on my face in the morning. Works like a charm!
