In my opinion, this soap beats all other sorts of face wash (expensive, cheap, liquid type, other soaps, medicated soaps, etc) that I have tried so far. It leaves my skin clean but not tight. It lathers great and has a very mild scent, which is a plus. I suffer from adult acne and super oily face and this product definitely helps deal with both conditions. (Of course I use other products to deal with those, too...). This soap is so good at such a good price! I recommend it to all!! I also recommend applying CeraVe moisturizing lotion after washing your face with this soap. CeraVe is also fairly inexpensive but is very hydrating and absorbs really well, much better in that aspect than Cetaphil.

I have used Cuticura for over twenty years. I prefer the original medicated bar over the oatmeal bar becaus eI have pretty oily skin. It has become increasingly difficult to find locally and is no bargain when I do happen upon a bar. I ususally buy several bars at a time from Amazon which lasts between 10-14 months. The bigger bars are a better value because there is less waste, but they are not as nice for camping and travel. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with this soap. I typically apply it only to my face and neck and use a good body wash for the rest of my body.

Family loves this product. It smells good and lasts long a long time without turning mushy or slimey. We prefer the large 5.25 bars over the smaller 3.0 size.
