Dr. Bronner's liquid soap has been a staple in my bathroom and kitchen for decades but I had never tried Sal Suds. The most noticeable characteristic is a very strong and pleasant scent of pine oils from fir needle and spruce.I have used it on hard surfaces throughout my apartment including in the kitchen and bathroom as well as on the walls and parquet floor. I am especially impressed with how much visible grime the copious suds lift and remove from the floor. It does a particularly good job in removing greasy dirt so I have also been using it on greasy pots and dishes, taking care to rinse well until there is no scent left behind. It also removes the oily residue from the coffee maker.
Sal Suds is very concentrated and only a couple of drops on a sponge or a moderate squeeze in a bucket of hot water is sufficient. I was a little worried that it would irritate the skin on my hands but it has not.My wife and I have been using Dr,Bronner's Sal Suds for years.
We started using it because it is a more natural product without
harsh chemicals -easy on your hands. In spite of being so mild
it still does the job effectively. We use it mostly for washing
dishes, the directions say it can be used for doing laundry although
we've never used for that purpose.
