I have sensitive combination skin and stopped using toners because I couldn't find one that would not irritate my skin. Since I already use many Avene products, I thought I'd give this a try. I use this after I wash my face with Avene Gel Cleanser for combination skin and in just one week, I can see and feel the difference! My skin feels tighter and many people have noticed and told me that my skin has a glow. My husband just started using it too! I highly recommend this toner it really is very gentle yet very effective!

When my wife and I traveled to Paris, we ran into this Toner. After using it a few days, I totally went for it. I'm actually an Origins loyalist, but this toner is great. The price per ounce is much better than Origins. I don't ever use the recommended application (cotton pad and pat). I'm a dude so I just put a few drops in the palm of my hand, mush mush mix mix and apply on my face directly. It works for me and so far, it's been great. I have naturally oily skin, but this doesn't dry out or create problems.

sent me a toner in a blue bottle and that is for oily skin.

it seems like it is the blue bottle is new version of the gentle toner,

but seriously. the new one looks totally different from the one in the pic and for oily skin instead of dry to normal skin.

i am very upset with this and now i have to return it
