Ok so I have been trying to find a product that will help my color treated, flat-ironed hair look much healthier and not so frizzy. Thought of doing the Brazilian Blowout but have heard alot of disturbing stories so looked around and found this product. This stuff is amazing! It did everything it said it would and then some! I saw instant results and have now fallen in love with this stuff. I recommend it to everyone and have even had people comment on how smooth and shiny my hair is now. And it's only been a couple days! So if you are looking for an inexpensive way to cut the frizz out of you hair and make it silky and smooth than this is the product for you!

I was a little skeptical since in salons the Brazillian Keratin treatments are expensive, but I wanted to try something at home to get an idea of what the results would be like to use a Keratin treatment. I am African American and I have frizzy hair that when blowdried, looks puffy and kinky. After following the directions, I noticed my hair was softer, smoother and dried in a shorter amount of time. I still have to flat iron to achieve the sleekness I want, but I am sure everyone's individual results may vary. I will continue using, and I will buy again! Very good deal and for $6-7, I will buy several.

I have fine, breakable hair. I bought this shampoo for two reasons in the following order: it was color safe, it was supposed to smooth and strengthen my hair. This shampoo in my opinion did WORSE than the drug store brands in the smoothing department. In addition, it was very obviously (brown water) removing my demi-perm dye MORE than the cheaper brands. I had seen other reviews mentioning problems with the color red. My hair is dark brown and black. The only thing I liked about this shampoo was the smell. It's very brown sugar/floral and it LASTS for about 24 hours in my hair. However, no matter how beautiful the smell the price and ineffectiveness of this product is off putting enough for me to throw out a half full bottle. Do not waste your time.

Edit: Since it was brought into question, I would like to add that the demi-perm dye was done in a professional salon by a licensed professional with professional products. This was NOT a at home "box hair color" job. I would also like to note that other Sally's products like "Miracle 7" left the dye untouched. Only this product left me fully unsatisfied.
