Clarisonic Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Care System - Peacock

The Clarisonic Mia is the compact version of the original facial scrubber, but still has some of the original features that made this a huge hit; it can be set to two different speeds, you can use a a one-minute pulsing T-Timer for the t zone, and you can use sensitive skin brushes (softer) if your skin is sensitive (mine is.) There is a travel case for those of use who don't leave home without it. The peacock color is a nice teal green, and it's great to have colors; the original Clarisonics are larger and came only in "clinical" white.

I happen to like this for cleaning my neck area. Sometimes, it's hard to soap up and get out the grime that settles in (well, let's be frank here) WRINKLES and I know if I've been out digging in what passes for my garden (what the neighbors decry as a patch of weeds, in actuality) or hiking or walking the Dog on a dusty path, I need to really scrub that area when I shower at home later. I also like it for really removing foundation and residue of makeup. Even after I wash my face with regular cleaner and water, if I rub with a washcloth, I sometimes find a residue of makeup left behind. The Mia takes this off nicely.

This version, the Mia 2 comes with case and universal voltage charger but there are quite a few versions of Clarisonic, so it's sometimes confusing. The Mia is single speed with universal charger, the Mia 2 (this one) has an enhanced mode of low and normal speed, the Aria has low, normal and high, USB charger and drying stand, Plus has Low, normal and high speeds plus Body Mode (normal and pulse), a universal stand-charger, and the Pro version has Low, normal, high and pro speeds plus Body Mode (normal and pulse), and the universal charging-drying stand.

I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a Clarisonic.

Couldn't find the peacock edition anywhere else so purchased it from the Cosmetic Warehouse here on Amazon.

This product has been THE PERFECT addition to my skin care regimen.

I took off a star because when I opened the product up there was a white smudge mark on the actual Mia2 handle. I was able to rub the mark off but it just makes me question whether or not this product was pre-owned or used as a tester somewhere before being repackaged and made to look like it was brand new?

Also, the instructions say that you have to charge the Clarisonic for 24 hours prior to first use. I only had to charge mine overnight (~12 hours) before it was fully charged.

So it only makes me question if this product was truly new when I received it.

Other than that little tidbit about how "new" this product was when I received it, I have NO OTHER complaints. The product is PERFECT and works fine and has done wonders for the texture of my skin and has evened out my skin tone !!

I use my Mia every night and I love it. All of my makeup is removed and I can tell my face is cleaner. My skin is the softest it has ever been. I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. I have owned this for about 5 months and it's my favorite beauty product. I love the way it pulses so you know when to move to a different part of your face and I haven't had a chance to use the travel case yet, but I'm so glad I have it. I can't imagine travelling without it.
