I recently read that rosacea sufferers have 10x the invisible vermin living on our faces as those with unaffected skin (the details about them, while fascinating, are disgusting enough to leave to a little research on your part, rather than publish here) and I surmised that the right cleansing approach might help rid myself of the symptoms. The combination of a good, gentle cleanser and the nubby rubber applicator supplied have made an almost complete reduction in rosacea symptoms. Using it once or twice a day has made a huge difference. Wouldn't do without it now. I've been having trouble finding it in the store I originally bought it, so I was glad to find it at Amazon.
