This product works for minor breakouts but not serious zits aka cystic acne. It doesn't smell like most sulfur products which is definitely a plus. I liked it and thought it helped speed up the recovery of a blemish but it wasn't powerful enough for the more stubborn breakouts. For those, I find that la roche posay's effaclar duo works best.
