I used Proactiv for a long time, and was happy with that product. (Except for the rare, HUGE zit I would get every once in a while that lasted forever.) But, I didn't like what it was doing to my skin. I felt like it was AGING my skin, it was very dry and looked wrinkly.

Since I am in my late 20s, I wanted to start using some age-defying cleanser that helped with breakouts and also faded old scars. Enter this product!

It lasts FOREVER, I have been using 2 pumps morning and night for well over six months. I rarely use the other products included in the kit, and my skin feels great and has for over a year. I get almost no breakouts (comparable to proactiv, less those HUGE proactiv zits.) But this product also seems to not dry me out as bad and also fade past scarring.

In the past year, I have gone from having to wear foundation to cover dark spots from past break outs, to a tinted moisturizer, to now a half tinted moisturizer/half moisturizer blend.

I have heard a lot of hype over the philosophy skin care line and was reluctant to try due to how expensive it is. I have combo skin with mild acne. Depending on my workouts and the weather i can control it fairly well with good face washes, lotions and night creams. I have been a big fan of The Body Shop tea tree oil product line but I thought after it ran out I would give this stuff a try.

It doesn't dry out my skin and i don't have to use a whole bunch to get the job done but i am not sure about it's acne fighting abilities. I have only used it for two weeks so far so I have to give it more time. I will write an update in a few weeks. So as of right now it is just a decent face wash, not sure if it is worth getting again.

in the third day of using philosophy on a clear day cleanser foam my face turned red(like burned) and i felt like my face has gone numb these symptoms continued for more than 2 hours, it was the last time of using the foam again. i don't know what went wrong i read the instructions carefully. really disappointed.

I love this face wash. I feel like it does a good job of helping keep skin clear without over drying. Unfortunately, Philosophy has discontinued it, which is why I purchased several bottles. Came quickly, however, packaging used by shipper left something to be desired a bit surprised that all the bottles made it.

It makes your skin feel really clean but don't get it in your eyes or around your lips. very drying
