I love this Emergency Gel Lotion Acne Medication i put it on under my concealer and other makeup so it's still treating my blemishes while their covered with makeup. It doesn't sting either like other painful acne medications.

I have been having a severe flareup of my adult acne. I ordered the entire Clinique Acne Solutions product line and it has worked wonders. The Emergeny gel has helped to clear up my skin without excessive drying. I highly recommend it.

This product has Benzoyl peroxide, one of the most commonly used ingredients to treat acne, of 5%. Benzoyl peroxide works well in 3%~5%, and some cheaper brands in grocery stores / pharmacies just have the similar percentage (at least 3%) that works similarly well on acne. I got this as a sample from Sephora, and it works pretty much the same as the grocery-store-purchased one I have (which costs about $6). I don't understand why Clinique is selling this at a significantly higher price. I won't pay for the advertisement and other spending to get the same stuff. Still, talk about the active ingredient, Benzoyl peroxide, it works best on large, red acne. It dries out your skin so it's not recommended to use on the whole face. It dyes cloths and pillows, so you may want to wait till it dries before go to bed.

I'm not sure why Amazon, who is usually cheaper than everywhere else is advertising these products for such a high price. This is like $5 cheaper on the Macy's site. The kit is $10 cheaper!!! Don't order this from Amazon. I haven't used the product yet, but I will post another review once I use it for at least 3 weeks.

I like Clinique products, and this one is fine...it just doesn't live up to all of the remarks that i had read about it clearing up tough acne etc. It's nothing great.
