I was expecting something a bit grittier to exfoliate my face with, this was more watery than i expected, it does leave my face feeling clean though.

I agree with the review about the 'watery' consistency (It's almost on the runny side). It's a bit strong on the 'tingly' feeling so wouldn't want to use it to take off eye makeup, but it does leave your face smooth and clean feeling. I too was looking for more of a scrub with this but I still like Noxzema products in general.

Having tried various brands of skin care systems over the past four decades I am back to Noxema. Adding the exfoliating cleanser to my regime feels, smells and leaves my skin looking good. Having always had oily skin, this cleanser is perfect, leaving no over drying or under moisturizing. I follow up with the Noxema Cream as a night cream as well as a foundation under my daily make up. After a week I am noticably less oily and very soft.
