I bought this for a lady as a gift. She said it works just as good at removing makup as a makeup remover that contains synthetic and petroluem and alcohol derivatives. It smells good and I'm pretty sure that using a make up remover that does not contain synthetic and petroluem and alcohol derivatives is better for your skin. What do I know??? I'm just a caveman.
