Mirta De Perales N Oil Treament Shampoo, 16 Ounce

I discovered this about 15 years ago when my head and scalp were soooo dry that I couldn't find relief. Not dry flakey dry, dry as if the hair on your head literally has turned to thick dry hay and just having it move around on your head feels jarring. I normally have super straight silky hair but once every couple of years I get that feeling again and I thank my lucky stars that this product exists. There literally is nothing else I could find that can calm my hair and scalp back to life in just one session. I'm not sure if the directions have changed. I'm here to order it again because that time has come once again where I feel that way. I just had surgery, could be the anesthesia's effects who knows but do as the directions say. Start creating parts in your hair and with a cotton ball soaked in the treatment (and I mean soaked)take the cotton ball start going in to the parts soaking your scalp. Do it on dry hair, don't wet it first. Then I remember she says to do this back and forth with your hands on your head but I don't really do that the whole time I switch between that and just regular massaging it in to my scalp. It's the most amazing feeling of cool penetrating moisture in to the skin of your scalp. I know this says oil but trust me it's oil but it isn't I don't know how to describe it but you'll see. So at this point I think the directions say to massage it out in warm water but I actually don't do that yet, I then pour almost half of the rest of the bottle on to the rest of my hair and massage it all in and through to the point that my hair is soaked with it.

(And I'm the kind of girl who's hair is so straight that I am super careful with that kind of stuff. I did one of those mayonnaise treatments in my hair once and I looked like a disgusting grease ball for weeks. You don't have to worry with this.)

So, once you start wetting your hair with the warm water the whole thing just lathers up and washes out completely clean. Not even like a hot oil treatment, no slimy feeling just the feeling of normal and having your hair finally back and your head no longer heavy with the brittle hay feeling. Relief!!! It's so not oily that it's almost squeeky to the point that you HAVE to folow up with a conditioner to finish off.

Oh I had really oily hair as a kid so I have always used the Normal to Oily but it won't hurt you if you use the other one and you're oily. It's not really oil like I said..

this is a realy nice oil shampoo, really, they are a very good treatment. i am giving it 1 star because i ordered the oil N shampoo, but i received the oil S shampoo, both are very good products, but i already have the oil S , so i wanted the oil N.
