I have used Wen hair care products for over a year now and can not say anything but wonderful things about them. When you first try Wen, it feels odd not to have lather in your hair, but once you do it, you will never go back to regular shampoo again! I have long hair, like down to my waistline. Its not super thick but tends to get oily. I can't use cream conditioners because they give me a rash so my normal routine was shampoo and then once out of the shower a spray in leave in conditioner.

I got this item as a gift for Christmas and well, I watched the DVD and still wasn't sure...but I figured if they state that this replaces conditioner, deep conditioner, leave in conditioner...it be cool if it worked.

I will admit, I didn't use cold water but warm water. The time to follow the whole process may be to much for a busy person who just jumps in and jumps out. You must be able to take a little time with this. I consider it my spa time, relax and enjoy pampering yourself. I didn't do everything perfect....warm water, didn't use as much as maybe they would like me too but I was honestly pleased with the results.

The first thing I noticed was the texture of my hair. It just felt different, some people may not like it. It feels a little course at first but when it drys it's very soft. The second thing I noticed, I could comb it out without using any other product. It wasn't tangled or anything. I also enjoyed the smell of this one (Pomegranate). Once my hair dried it was noticeable shiny.

So for the bit of work you have to to do...I like it. The smell is great too. I can't wait to try the other scents. I do suggest that you make sure to rinse out the product well or it will feel oily and waited down...I normally do the process first then do all the other things, like shave and loofa...its my mini spa time.

Make sure you use enough of the product. The first time I used I didn't follow the directions. So I didn't really get the results I wanted. So, my hair I just passed my shoulder. I used 20 pumps and let it sit in my hair for about 4 minutes. Wow what a difference. Then followed but 20 pumps for conditioning. 1 last pump as a leave in. My hair is wonderful soft and no tangles at the nape of my neck. Love love this product.

I so far have tried Fig and Pomegranate. I love them both and do find differences in how they leave your hair. The Fig tends to make it a bit silkier, but not as much volume. I think the Pomegranate smells better, but I am not turned off by any scent as long as the end result looks good. Besides, the scent fades once dry. I have more body with the Pomegranate, but my hair is a bit more flyaway. Both clean my scalp very well and I can go a few days between washes. Both leave my hair softer and silkier. I still have Lavender and Sweet Almond Mint to try. My daughter, who has straighter, silkier, thinner, non frizzy hair loved the Sweet Almond Milk. I also don't use quite as much as they suggest. I have never had better results with any other brand of shampoo, and believe me I have tried soooooo many!

I waited a few weeks before I wrote this review because I was soooo impressed with the results that I thought it couldn't be true. I decided I should use this for a few weeks and see if I was still impressed. I AM!!!! I can't believe how thick and soft my hair feels. I have naturally wavy hair and it holds a style real well but when it rains...humidity makes it go crazy, lol. Not now though, it can rain, rain, rain and my hair stays soft and frizz free. I have also ordered the Almond and it was waaay to heavy for my hair. It made my hair feel greasy. I have come to the conclusion that different scents are for different hair types. My hair is long length,(past my shoulders) fine/medium hair shafts, (but I have alot of hair) and like I mentioned earlier, wavy. Pomegranate works great if you have this type of hair. I have noticed they also have a cucumber scent which I read is for hair that needs volume. I may try it just to see if it works. I have read a lot of reviews(mostly people that buy WEN off QVC) that say they lost big chunks of hair after using this product.

I have had no such thing happen and neither has my husband..unless something goes majorly wrong. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO REGULAR SHAMPOO EVER...I AM A WEN GIRL FOR LIFE..but in the event that something does go wrong I will update this review. =)
