This cleansing cream was recommended by my Dermatologist as well as the Embryolisse Concentrated Lait Cream which is also one of the best creams I've ever used.

I am in my late 40's and have tried many, many products like La Mer, Guerlain, Siesley and many others. I need a very gentle cleanser because my skin is very sensitive. This works great for taking off make up too and it really cleans the skin.

This is one of the best cleansers I've ever used and its affordable. I think anyone could use this. I tend to like French skin care products and this is a very trusted brand. The other great thing is it smells heavenly so good I wish they made a body lotion. It has a hint of lemon and ginger hard to say exact but I want to eat it. Thanks to Amazon I can get it here because its not easy to find where I live. When I go to Europe I will stock up.

When I purchased this cleanser, I was looking for a gentle, non-drying cleanser to remove makeup easily. This did not end up satisfying that need exactly. It is an effective cleanser, gentle on skin and non-drying, slightly heavy on scent, but nothing too terrible. But unfortunately--and this may be due to heavy perfumes--if you get it in your eyes, it burns like (expletive deleted). Very painful, and not super easy to rinse out. That said and lesson learned, I do like using this in the shower on face and body, and I do still use it to remove eye makeup, but I'm very careful to rinse quickly and not rub it in my eyes at all. I haven't decided if I'll repurchase, but I do think it's a very good shower wash.
