I have VERY acne prone sensitive skin. I have looked for years and years and even gone to dermotologist to try and find SOMETHING that works without breaking my skin out like crazy. Ive tried almost ever product on the market.. and even some prescription meds.. and NOTHING has worked. I tried this one after about two years of looking and being depressed. It was just incredible. It made my face feel great and has NOT ever broken my skin out AT ALL. And remember almost everything else had. Even top of the line acne meds. So i find it odd that a cream to help even a complexion has kept my skin so free of acne and it has helped deminish all my scars from previous acne. I love this stuff.. for just being a simple thing face wash.. it has changed my life. Always been and will be a fan of neutrogena products.

I was still trying to find a good daily cleanser when I first bought this product. I am now 61 and my skin is somewhat dry. Most cleansers either leave my skin very dry and itchy or greasy. Sometimes I have some flakiness in areas on my skin and I also have enlarged pores which can lead to blackheads, so there are times when I need to use a scrub to exfolliate my skin.

Well, I found it. Neutrogena Visibly Even Foaming Cleanser is the best product I've ever used. My skin feels wonderful when I am cleasing but it stays feeling wonderful after I've finished cleansing. To my surprise, it even contains a very small amount of scrubbing beads that sluff off those flakes and keep my pores clean. Enough to keep my skin in good condition but without drying my up my face. My skin never itches either. My skin feels soft, fresh and flexible; not tight like some cleansers leave it feeling. I love it and I hope they continue to market this product as long as I continue to live.

I could not find this product as Target and CVS, Walgreens didnt sell it anymore. I was so distraught and I found it online. I noticed the difference almost immediately when I started using it again. Skin is soft, smooth and glows. Makes up for the roughness and dry skin that comes with the use of prescription acne medications. My cousin used it this weekend, and she loves it.

I'm not one to write reviews normally, but I just love this Visibly Even line so much. I have combination skin, an oily T-zone, with dry skin around my mouth, and I break out a lot around my jawline (hormonal). I've tried Pro-Active, Mary Kay, Clinique, etc etc. They usually work for a few weeks, then stop all-together. I forgot to pack the Mary Kay cleanser (I was trying at the time) on a trip a few months back and went to Target obviously they don't sell that. So, I was forced to look around for something else. I'm 25 and already have an extremely uneven skin tone mostly from sun damage (tanning DON'T DO IT!) and dark spots from pimples that have never healed (mostly b/c my skin was so damaged/unhealthy).

I've been using this about a month now and have seen significant results. It's by no means "a miracle cure" at least not yet. The longer you use it, the better your skin becomes. My face is a lot more radiant. I'm not having breakouts (aside from my monthly, hormonal ones that can't be avoided). And the pimples I do get, have been going away quickly without much redness/notice.

I just ran out of my Jergen's SPF 20 moisturizer and bought the Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer today. It has SPF 30, which is fantastic for me, since I'm so paranoid about further sun damage. The moisturizer is supposed to significantly improve the dark spots between 4 8 weeks. I'll write a review on that after I've tried it out for a while.

I'm moving to SKorea in the fall and will be buying these products sporadically until then, in order to have a stash to take with me. I'm always so afraid the products I like and that work for me will be discontinued... because they usually are. I sincerely hope that Neutrogena continues manufacturing this line. I LOVE IT.

I think the other negative reviews just go to show how different people's skin types are. I in no way believe this product will work "for everyone". But I definitely think it's worth a try and I'm by nature a pessimist, so I think that's saying quite a lot. GOOD LUCK ALL. I know how difficult it is to tame your skin such a headache.

In terms of smoothing and evening of the skin, it does quite well. I used this product and noticed that my skin became very smooth and manageable.
