I've used these brushes every day for about 10 days. The first time was tough, the bristles were too hard for my face I felt. What I do is add cleanser to brush, work into a good lather on the back of my hand, and then apply to my wet face. The bristles softened up with use. Using the back-of-hand method, I am able to use this brush all over my face, even eyes. The brushes are priced great. Give them time to break in.
Using these brushes is so great for my skin. It leaves my face so smooth and soft, minimizes pore size, and it's so much cheaper than those electric ones that have plastic bristles. Plastic bristles can scratch your skin.
These help me so much that I bought a package for my son. He has normal teenage acne, and using these twice a day with a gentle soap cleared up his acne in about a week.
I am purchasing another package today.I use this brush for skin brushing daily on my face and neck. It works great and I absolutely love dry brushing for exfoliation and firmness. I gave the two others to my friends for trying out!I would give this product no stars for terrible advertising and product. The product in the picture looks well made, and the bristles look like a brush. When the product arrived the bristles were all different lengths and poorly grouped together. My wife complained that it was too rough on her face. I told her prior reviews indicated the brushes needed to be broken in. The next day she indicated it felt softer but at the expense of less bristles. By Day 3, over half of the bristles had fallen out and the brush was a matted mess of bristle. I guess you get what you pay for, I am returning these promptly and going with a name brand I can rely on.I ordered these because there are three in the set and I go through them so quickly. I use these to dry brush my face--it keeps my skin soft and supple. Unfortunately, these are softer than the last one I had and I don't feel they are as effective. I'm still looking around to find the one I had before these.
