my dermatologist recommended this to me saying that this was one of his favorite daily cleansers. I had moderate acne and it cleared my face right up!!!!! I had bad acne in my T-zone and I used this once a day and my acne had gone away in about a week. I still use it to keep my face clear. If you over use this, it may dry your face up a bit. otherwise, GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

I suffer from mild-moderate acne and this creamy wash has helped my skin tremendously. My dermatologist recommended the 10% wash, which is what I thought I purchased, but later on found out I purchaed the 4% BPO wash. I admit, my skin did get worse before it got better, however, I mentally prepared myself for that. I only use the wash once a day, at night, in addition to another Aveeno face wash to take off my makeup and what not. The wash is thick, creamy, and lathers well. I lather it on the areas of my face where I experience the most breakouts (forehead, cheeks) and wash for at least 1 minute. Careful not to get on clothes as it will bleach slightly. I also avoid my mouth and eye areas as it will mildly irritate them.

I simply love this product and will continue to use it. My skin is completely clear now and I have even noticed my blemishes/scars fading. It is definetly worth a try.

As I have been growing older it seems my face is going through changes too. I am more oily than I use to be and have some sort of break out on the forehead, sides of face & cheeks -not blackheads or really pimples. Use this product in the morning and evening seems to be helping. It does dry out my face -so be aware of that. I have tried the 10% and that is way too harsh, so I would say the 4% was a good recommendation by my dermatologist.

At the recommendation of a dermatologist I got the 4% creamy face wash for my 11 year old son who was starting to have problems with acne during football season. He washes his face with it at night and it's working great. Even my son commented to me how much better his face looks now, which has given him incentive to keep washing his face each night.
