i got this for my baby/toddler to replace his old sponge and was surprised by how rough it was at first. after about 6-12 months or so i don't notice the roughness anymore, but it's also starting to develop holes, so i think it's just probably meant to be a little rougher than others. it gets plenty of use though for my 2 yr old's daily baths. i would just recommend this sponge for adults and big kids over babies/toddlers.

Years ago I had silk sea sponges which I used mainly for applying cosmetics. They lasted well and I loved them. I was down to my last decent sized one when I saw these. I have very sensitive skin and wanted to use these for washing my face. I had just ordered comparably priced sea silk sponges and they were like sandpaper. I was hesitant about ordering again, but am so glad that I did. While these are very soft, they are slightly less silky than my original. They are still quite lovely to use. On the plus side for these is their size. They are larger and you can wash your face thoroughly very quickly and rinse it off with these sponges. It can be used for a soft bath sponge as well.

The sponges came individually and carefully packaged in their own bags with a ribbon. The delivery of the order was so rapid. It was a pleasure doing business with this company in every way. Thank you.

The service was fine. The sponges are rock hard and rough. I wish I hadn't bought them.
