Beauty Without Cruelty AHA Facial Cleanser

I love this cleanser. I have sensitive skin and use it twice a day (and live in a sunny place I'm not sure why the other review was worried about irritation). It is gentle but cleans skin well, and the smell is to die for. Very light, but soothing and natural. All that, and cruelty-free! I rarely feel strongly enough about a beauty product to write a review, but felt compelled in this case. I must also commend the seller I ordered this product from Swanson Health Products as shipping was cheap, fast, and packaging was thoughtful.

I've been using BWC 3% Alpha Hydroxy Facial Cleanser for many years now. I noticed a difference in my skin within the first few weeks of using this cleanser my skin was softer and less dry, and the alpha hydroxy acids helped my acne prone skin to stay clearer. I wear water-resistant foundation, and this cleanser removes it with ease. And after using this product for years, I have noticed that some of the lines I had been developing on my forehead are barely noticeable now. All this, and cruelty free!

I just started using this product a few weeks ago but I've been using AHA products for years! Here's the key to getting good resultsDON'T USE THIS EVERY DAY IF YOU HAVE SENSATIVE SKIN!!! This product does work well to cleanse, but I use it b/c the AHA will help keep my face fresh lookingNOT FOR MAKEUP REMOVAL. I use DCH olive oil cleanser at nite to truly dissolve all makup and BWC in the AM to really refresh my skin. Sometimes I don't use the BWC product daily if my skin has seen a little sun or is in any way a little irritated. It's not necessary to use an AHA product daily to see remarkable results. In fact, most AHA products will recommend not for daily use!!! I have ALWAYS used 2 separate cleansers in the morning and evening b/c I learned YEARS ago that with Acne prone sensative skin that products to treat the acne will destroy your face if overused. Almost everyone has combination skin and throw in changing weather conditions and it can be challenging to find a good cleanser! I love this product tho b/c it works and is a FRACTION of the price of the Murad products that I've used for years. Also, no fragerance and it's BWC. I used to not give a whit about the testing methods but now I do pay attention to that and I want to support this manufacturer who creates a superior product at a reasonable price in an ethical manner. LOVE THIS CLEANSER!!
