I have really terrible hair. I mean REALLY terrible hair. I have thin, coarse hair that is very dry and likes to pouf out at the slightest sign of humidity. This shampoo plus Instant Moisture Daily Treatment make my hair look and feel amazing. I've completely stopped flat ironing and use very little in the way of styling products, and it looks fantastic. It sounds ridiculous to say shampoo/conditioner changed your life, but finally having wash and go hair is amazing! I don't have to plan in a crazy amount of time after a workout anymore and it has shortened my morning routine considerably.

I usually buy hair products from my hairdresser. This time around, however, I bought Paul Mitchell Shampoo One from Amazon because it was cheaper online. It smelled a little different from the old bottle I had from the salon, but I didn't think much of the difference. I experienced itching and irritation of the scalp within the first few days of use. I would have written off the symptom to seasonal change, except I noticed my hair were much drier than usual after shower(prior to applying the conditioner).

I just got another bottle from my salon which has the familiar smell I am used to, and my hair didn't feel dry at all after application.

I may be wrong about this, but I'm not taking a chance again. Stick with your hairdresser for hair care products.

My scalp hates everything. Wash it, it flakes. Don't wash it, it flakes. Wash every other day, it flakes. Anyway, you get the idea. I don't have a dandruff problem, it's a dry skin problem (according to my dermatologist). This is the only shampoo I am able to use that will not give me flakes. It has a beautiful, light scent, and it makes my hair very smooth.

Paul Mitchell makes amazing products! I have fine hair and this shampoo does not weigh it down and doesnt allow my scalp to be greasy by the end of the day! Great product :)
