Have been using Vitabath for 30+ years, back when they only had 4 fragrances. The Nouveau Rose smells just like roses but not so much as to overpower. When you get out of the bath or shower the smell stays in the bathroom as not to interfere with any cologne I may wear, but leaves my skin feeling really soft

Nouveau Rose is nice and refreshing with the delicate scent of roses. I must disagree (other review) ... it is not overwhelming in the least. Like all Vitabath products, a little goes a long way while lightly moisturizing in the shower and makes quite a luxurious bubble bath. The formula contains natural ingredients and is free of harsh chemicals, well suited to all skin types.

Most rose scented products are overwhelming. That is not the case with this item. I prefer keeping a mellow and wake up scent available. This one fits the bill for those days that I have some down time and can relax.

When I opened the package and found it covered with pink slime where the bottle had leaked, I knew I was in for a real ... treat. But it was the odor that was the worst problem, not the mess. It's a strong floral that's reminiscent of your least favorite aunt's perfume. The lingering notes are orchid and laundry soap. This is the exact opposite of a soft, gentle rose scent. I should have pony'd up the extra dollars and bought Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater because this dud's already hit the trash can.
